I hope it will be ok if Kagome throws up after Sesshoumaru leaves. I know I would. Poor Kagome, I feel so bad for her. Thanks to Inuyasha there is nothing she can do. Thank you for the update. If I was Kagome, I would never be able to care for Sesshoumaru. Especially after that!

It's a wonderful story and I don't think you should change a thing about it. You have stated over and over that the story will not be nice for a long time. If people can't understand that, then they do need to find something else. Life isn't full of gumballs and licorice whips. Life is dark, cruel, and not pretty. That you are writing about things that fall into those real-life categories speaks of how well you are aware of the fact. My heart goes out to Kagome, and I honestly want to beat Sesshoumaru with a giant stick, but when you look at the character is he in the anime and manga, you can see him being that way. Great job. I can't wait to read more.

Great Chapter! I love that Kikyo can't ever have children! How long will it take for Sesshomaru to figure out that he needs Kagome to love him for him to gain the sons and power he wants? I wonder how he'll make up for all of the physical and emotional abuse when he does realize it. Are we going to see Kagome's first punishment in the next chapter? Please update again soon!

It's official. Inuyasha's an IDIOT in this story. Trading the best thing that's come into his life for a former dead bitch who can't have children because she wasn't meant to? I hope they learn this the hard way. Kikyo was never meant to have children in the first place because of her duty as the former Shikon Miko. Let's just hope that the idiot doesn't mate withI love the way you portray Sess in this fic. Nope, this does not bode well for Kagome or Inuyasha for that matter. Hopefully, Sesshomaru changes his ways. I also Bokusenou knows what he's doing in not warning the idiot.

Ok, maybe they won't fall in love and have their happy ending as I would like, but I hope that at least they reach a common ground and that they respect each other. Kagome will have to learn that she doesn't have the free will she would like and Sesshomaru will begin to treat her better. In some cultures, Sesshomaru's behaviour is not uncommon. In fact they say that the only way to keep a woman quiet and obedient is to marry her off young and to get her pregnant soon so that she is too young to have an opinion and express it out loud and by having children soon and often she is to busy and too tired to rebel against an opressive husband. I once read that there was a man, neighbour to the woman interviewed, that had many wives, all of them died after some years beign his wives, and she said that the man forced them to have sex at least five times a day. The poor women died of exhaustion and probably because they couldn't deal with the mistreatment. I loke some angst in the stories but I also like the ones that end up with them finding something that binds them together that is not obligation or fear. Keep going, I love the way you write!

Ok, this is going to be the meanest thing I'll ever say, but why couldn't Kagome just be quiet and listen? Sesshoumaru is beyond scary, and has injured her already so badly, what does she think she is going to accomplish by talking back to him? Not that Sesshoumaru, with the way he thinks will ever be nice to her, but now he is going to hurt her so badly. Poor girl. My favorite part of the chapter was Sesshoumaru's conversation with Bokusenou. I wonder how long it's going to take for Sesshoumaru to visit the tree again? Thanks for the update.

This is a very interesting story, I like what I have read so far. While I'm usually not a fan of dramatic stories, I don't see this story as dramatic but very challenging. You did a wonderful job with the characters interacting, and I'm glad you are staying with your original idea for this story, instead of going with some of the suggestions readers have given you. To be honest, with this story- I don't think the whole them only having children together after falling in love. Or for Kagome go to the future and Sesshoumaru learn to love would work with your story. It seems as though the second would be very out of character for Sesshoumaru. During this time period, males thought differently. It was common for women to be seen as the lesser race, adding the fact that Kagome is human it is very reasonable that Sesshoumaru is treating Kagome in such a way. I do hope, like many-that Kagome and Sesshoumaru will fall in love with one another, but with a character like Sesshoumaru it may take quite awhile for such an event to happen. Even if they have a whole country worth of children together, it will take some time. For some reason, whenever Sesshoumaru is thinking of taking over the world, with his mass army of his own children. I picture him kind of mad scientist ish, with lighting flashing behind him as he has a crazed look in his eye. It makes me chuckle. But anyways, the chapters so far are very well written. This is an addicting story, I apologize about not reviewing precious chapters. You write the characters, and their interactions with one another very well. I'm impressed. Not only that, but the emotion you write draws my attention more into this story. The chapters flow nicely too. Again wonderful job, I'm looking forward to reading future chapters to this story.

Oh my holy goodness that was one of the hottest chapters I've ever read in a SessKag fic! I really love the brutal dominating!Sesshoumaru, especially when he has the characteristics of the dog showing very strongly, such as the fierce desire to make known what is his, and also the rough nature of the mating and his knotting inside Kagome, I really find that very erotic and fascinating, but it is hardly ever mentioned in fics sadly :( Thankyou sooo much for updating so quickly!!! Wow! A powerful start to what looks to be a very dark fic. While I'm not normally drawn to such harshness, I have to say I will be following this one with baited breath as it were. Because of how much of an ass Sesshomaru truly is it seem vaguely appropriate for any type of relationship between the two to have an extremely harsh beginning.

I feel bad for Kagome, but I understand that you can't just change Sesshoumaru's way of thinking right off the bat. They were raised differently, it is quite sad. However, I think that this story is actually quite realistic in what could happen. I like that about it. :)

Poor Kagome! I just hope she can forgive such cruelty and love him. I don't know if I could ever forgive a cruel act out of selfishness. And I hope she can't get pregnant unless Sesshomaru is kind. Oh my, please make Sesshomaru stop being so cruel soon, I don't know if I can take so much cruelty. What keeps me reading the story is that in the end everything will be alright.
