I'm kind of jealous of Kagome in this chapter. Not because she has Sesshy, but because she has such a nice mother, and she even comes with fresh baked cookies... The story of Aria was a nice touch. It gives Inuyasha's mate a link to Sesshomaru, they will be able to become family more realistically now...

Ok, Inuyasha is smiling. But really, I do not understand WHY Sesshoumaru has not yet marked Kagome? I hope it's not a human thing, that would be so sad!! Great chapter!!

You're being sneaky. I have to wonder why Sesshoumaru is delaying mating Kagome. It must be something very important. I was so glad that he was appalled at the accusations leveled against him. Can't wait to see what he's up to. ^_^

I am intrigued, just what was said between Sesshy and Kagome's mother? *tries to read lips and fails* I wonder just when Sesshy plans to mate Kagome? Before the pup is born so that the baby isn't born out of mating or... after so his beast can be... well... you know how they get XD I can't wait for the next chapters.

Why is it that when meeting the parents it feels as if it's a death sentence? Am I correct in believing that this won't be the end of Kenta's revenge? He backed down from Sessh quick enough but if what Kagome says about him is true then I think there maybe another death soon. I wouldn't put it past him to try and kill Souta; a life for a life or a brother for a brother...Oh and I must say that while having a beta is always a good thing, you need to know that your writing talent was in no way lacking, in my opinion of course. Though you had many typos that sometimes became an irritant, I caulked it up to you typing so quickly that you hit the wrong keys. I never complained because #1 I adore your writing and style and #2 you were so gracious in posting every day, sometimes even twice and you fed my hunger for more without making me wait. You have picked an excellent woman to beta for you as I have seen what she has done for many in the past so I am happy that you have her to help make your fics more polished. JEN

It's great the Mom knows what is going on, but when will he fill kagome in on it? I know that she is wondering what he wants from her still...I am also looking forward to Kenta being taken down next. Hopefully he will snap out of his revenge before he loses his life.

Kagome is very in-character. Remember, in the anime, how she promised to stay by Inuyasha, no matter what? Even though the Kikyo issue loomed. So I can really see her in this situation, dealing with the mating issue in just this way. It's kind of sad, though...

Oh WOW! Thoses brothers are gonna be dead when they go up aganist Sesshoumaru. The jerks will probably hold Kagome hostage to get to Sesshoumaru. Ah, but that won't work either! Go Sesshoumaru!!

I was wondering if the grandfather would be foolish enough to seek revenge and it seems he knows when to give up. The younger generation were not born during the time when youkai walked free and ruled the land. Guess they'll have to learn the hard way that you do not mess with an InuYoukai who happens to be the Taiyoukai of the West. As the old man said, "Foolish". JEN

Oh YAY!!!! You're back! I'm happy all is well. I was actually thinking about PMing Wiccan or KnifeThrower to see if they knew, seeing as you seem to be in contact with them most often. But then I thought to wait until tomorrow to ask hoping you'd return and...you did! I was reading to PJ about Yasha and Masaru's little banter about Yasha wanting sex. We had a good laugh over that. She tends to agree with Masaru, not that she hears anything but just knowing when the door is shut it usually means...she berates me often about the time I was on high doses of morphine and I was telling her ALL about the facts of sex. She says she didn't need the Karma Sutra she had her mother describe things IN DETAIL and I never remembered a thing. I was totally embarassed when she told me this. Anyway...loved this new chapter and I'm sooo glad you are back. JEN

Oooh, Aria must have lost one of the babies she was delivering at some point. That is really depressing and I can understand why she wouldn't want to take the job but, I'm sure she'll come around, it's for family after all. I wonder if Masaru will be glad his uncle is asking him to help take care of stuff around the house instead of just waiting on Kagome? Maybe he'll feel priviledged? I can't wait for the next chapter!

That was so much more polished and no less enjoyable. Fluff in the right dosage, my favorite.:-)
