I feel so bad for Sesshoumaru. I don't understand how he will even be able to fight when there is only 6 inches between him and Kagome. Why don't they realize that if saying bad things about each other makes the chain shrink, maybe saying and feeling good things about the other will make the length longer? Love the update! Can't wait to read more!

About the Chained to You thing if you didn't know of or read the other fic before coming up with your idea I wouldn't worry about it. There's a lot of overlap in the fanfic world & 2 or several people will all get a similar idea at different times & more often than not they get accused of plagiarism even when it's not. Since you're not copying the other fic in whole or in part I wouldn't worry about contacting the other author, especially if she hasn't updated anything in several years, she's probably gone just like so many other authors. I've made it up to chapter 5 already & am really enjoying it although you do have some odd turns of phrase here & there & extra words in your sentences all over the place.
