Yay, I was so happy to see a new chapter ^_^  I have to say I really enjoyed it.  I thought Sesshoumaru acted very gallantly in this chapter.  It was wonderful.  Definitely can see the makings of a good husband in there, hehe.  I was also very proud of Kagome.  Good for her, deciding to buckle down and do the job.  I was happy with how she treated Sesshoumaru too.  She was very tender.  Over all I think this chapter had some very good developments.  I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next.  Thank you for the great chapter and keep up the good work! 

I'm really enjoying this story :)  I know some people had commented that there are other stories involving Kagome and Sesshoumaru chained to each other against thier will, but I'd like to say that you've used that device in your own unique way.  Your plot and character interactions are original and the events have been entertaining.  There are some grammatical errors in the last chapter, so you may want to go back and re-read it.  I love your OC Kenichirou, he's fabulous.  You have very good moments throughout the story, my most recent favorite being Kagome's duel with Hirota.  I felt you wrote it realistically and true to Kagome's character.  Sometimes I feel that Sess is a little OC, but it's not too bad, since I think you're purposefully making it that he has another side to him, outside of his lordly upbringing.  I hope the relationship between him and Kagome starts advancing soon.  So far, it seems that Sesshoumaru's emotions have been the ones doing most of the growing.  Kagome's perspective of him hasn't changed that drasitcally.  It's not hard to picture him developing romantic feelings for her, but it's really hard to imagine Kagome having feelings for him anytime soon.  Especially with bringing up her lingering feelings for Inuyasha again in this last chapter.  I'm not sure what you have in store, I just hope her feelings start evolving or else a romantic relationship isn't going to be believable.  However, I'm sure you know what you're doing and have something in mind :)  Thanks for the great story and I look forward to another update.  Please keep up the good work! 

i can't wait to see what happens :D they're so cute ^^ developing their relationship... though i think personally this is quite different from the kind of relationship building with them normally like in other fanfics.. sort of like well arranged marriages lol neither of them feel like they have a choice but they're grudgingly sort of forcing their emotions.. like pretending your happy when your not.. i dano thats just how it seems to me... and its interesting :D

When I first read this, my mouth LITERALLY fell open at the end. I was definitely NOT expecting that but loved every moment of it! ^^

i LOVE this story! i love that you don't take the easy way, and don't over explain, like i've seen a lot of fics, i think a lot of people from Dokuga know I'm a reader and reviewer! So many people make kimono's "hourglass" and "curve hugging" in fiction, so many people make "tendrils" around the face. and it is so very NOT formal, or traditional, which is what feudal era Japan would be. I actually have fits in Dokuga chat about that, stupid tendrils.

I appreciate so much that you actually had the padding, to get the cylindrical shape down! I adore you in fact for it. At the same time you didn't go overboard with details that will in the end lead to nothing but too much wordy Japanese. That too is over done. As a reader i want you as an author to paint a story for me that i can see and understand, not something i hafta look up on the net to get what your talking about. and you REALLY REALLY did that fantastically.

I love you for that!

I also love that your giving so many details, but at the same time, you leave it open for the reader to interpret at times. Not only that, you haven't made them just fall so in love with one another that its corny or cliche. You bring up the fact that Sesshomaru's life has shaped him, and that few if any get to see the real him b/c of the mask he is forced to wear all the time. I cant help but look at this and feel very moved by it all b/c its romantic, and tragic in a small way.

I know that it ends well b/c i doubt many authors make it go bad, and that in the end, Kagome doesn't lose herself but i can tell the foreshadowing that she will come close to breaking. Though as an avid fan of AsskickingKagome, i do hope that she gets to shove something in their faces. Its a lot to take in hat her life has been so taken from her, and that she only has the option to accept this fact.

But I'm confident in the fact that this will work out, and that in the end both Sesshomaru and Kagome will fall in love with one another. Though all of it does make me wonder how they are going to deal with being mated, her being a new lady, probably preggy, Naraku, and the Tama. And has his mother even thought about the fact that her soon to be daughterin law has a greater destiny then just her son's mate/breeder, in the fact that she is The Shikon Miko?

Oh well I'm going to be stalking this fic until its done! so i'll find out! *wiggles update bribery c0okie at you*

Love the first chapter. Stead plot, build up, and things flow well.

The only thing that this chapter was lacking, in my opinion, was the imagery.
