I started reading this and I cant get over how addicting this story is. THere is nothing more addicting than that deep heart wrenching dark twisted love. Even though Sesshoumaru have wronged her by taking what he thought was rightfully his, you still managed to convince me into seeing his reasoning. You made me sympathize with his confusion. *Snuggles You tightly* I belive I have found me another favorite author. Okay I will keep reading cause I cant go another minute without finishing this. It's SOOO GOOOOD!!!

Oh wow. This story has been amazing. Sitting down and reading the whole thing gives far too much upon which to comment so I'll keep specifics to this last chapter. I love how Sesshomaru learned the 'if you love something, let it go' adage -and that Kagome responded so beautifully to it. However... poor Inuyasha. If you are keeping faith to how Kagome released him from Kikyo's arrow then at her touch to this arrow he awoke... and I'm guessing saw all or part of the shared confession. Of course being preserved for three years he has NO idea anything that's been going on so the pain would be doubly surprising and painful. I'm guessing he somehow escaped on his own, though I wonder if he's still wounded or if somehow in the three years he healed.

I have been following this story for so so long and it was quite a surprise to see an update after such a while! I am not disappointed either. I truly hope you will update this story soon for it is one of my most favorite stories. Thank you!

I do like this chapter where they each realize how much the other means to them. MOre makes sense after your little blurb. I can't wait to see what happens but I feel that Sesshoumaru and Kagome are finally together and together we stand, divided we fall. I have a feeling that after everything they have been through that they can take anything else thrown at them.

Darlin, the moment I seen the email with the update to 'Ultimate Sacrifice' I thought I went mad.  With bated breath, I waited patiently and my wish came true.  You have such a WONDERFUL story.  Writing about the complexities of love and making it so convincing and endearing is a talent you have!  When I got to the 'cliffhanger' chapter so long ago and noticed no updates, I thought that something deterred you away and you lost interest in the story as a whole.  I believed that this was another one of those lost gems you find so much from the really good fanfic writters.  I'm so glad I was wrong.  I understand from personal experience how life can be "hectic" and you lose interest and/or focus in what use to bring you pleasure.  I will not preach as if I know your unique situation.  All I can say is that the strife makes us stronger.  We become better in the end if we can endure.  I do hope you will retain some insight onto what hinders you and come out kickin' ass and takin names.  Or takin names and sendin them to the ass kicker ;p.  You will proceed as life has planned.  Best wishes to you! Now to this chappie:

"This Sesshomaru loves you, Kagome"  O_O  Yyyyyesssssssssssss!!!!!!  O happy, HAPPY day!!  The lessons, the agony, the doubts.... all in the past bebeh!!  *pump fist*  You picked the greatest time for his confession.  That moment was builiding up for soooo long, but in the end he finally realized that this, this 'sacrifice', is what makes the love he wants attainable!!  The reaction from one to another was perfect.  The declaration was necessary.  It needed to be voiced, or else, it would not have changed.  And Kagome...that's right you better run to him and choose him!!  Jeeeez.  There's only so many times you can deny yourself happiness for the sake of others.  She's come too far and experienced so much that even she would break.  I'm glad that their relationship is confirmed to one another.  They will no longer sabotage it themselves. 

This, however, opens the door to others attempting to ruin it (which makes for good storytelling, heh).  Hence the Inuyasha disappearance?  And someone else had mentioned it and I completely forgot about 'em since it seemed simply as a small unnoticed seed to a plot (that, and I had completely forgotten about them even though this is my second or third time re-reading your story).  The shadowmen. Will they reappear?  There hasn't been mention of them anywhere for some time.  But the disturbance in youkai was interesting.  Did it occur when she touched the arrow?  Could she somehow have effected the spell with her powers being so distracted as she was?  You leave it open to several questions.  I do hope you stay encouraged to continue!!  Is bribery necessary?  Bribery cookies work, right? ;)  Remember, you have a awesome story that has fans.  We will wait.  Just keep 'em comin!!  ^_^

AHHHHHH!!! You have no idea how shocked, amazing, and utterly happy I was to see that this story was updated with a new chapter!! I had been hoping and hoping you would update one day and here it is!
