I am so, so happy with the ending to your story!  Thank you, thank you, thank you for the ending you gave Inuyasha and Genshu!  I love the fact the Genshu has an all male staff now!  That is perfect for him.  At least now all of the women he sleep with will at least have come to home with him.  I can't believe Kikyo and Sango would try to help Inuyasha rape someone.  Sango deserves her fate, but I wish that something bad had happened to Kikyo.  Inuyasha as human is perfect.  Now he won't be able to use his demon strength to hurt anyone.  His father will also be disguisted with him.  I do wish, however, that Kagome would have neutered Genshu.  Maybe that will happen sometime in the future?  Thank you for the story!

I'm not quite sure what I did to desreve getting blocked by you on fanfiction dot net, aside from leaving a single well meaning review, but I guess I don't really care. If you feel that you've been slighted by me then it's your perrogative to cut off communication. So, before you cut me off in Dokuga, I thought I'd leave you a few parting words about your story before you blocked me here too. So, here's my review.

Overall, I liked the story. It was original, creative, had good characterizations, and a decent plot that never felt too rushed but without putting in excess filler. As a whole, it probably deserves the nominations at the very least.

That's not to say I didn't have my complaints though.

The first thing that I think deserves to be pointed out is Lord Genshu. To be perfectly honest, as a villain I find him a bit lacking. Sure, he plays his part well enough, but you'd think someone who has run a successful buisness for so long would at least be a little more polite, tactful, or sneaky about how evil they really are. The truly evil people are the ones you'd never expect, people who put on a good front to the public and pretend to be your friend, only to put a knife in your back once you've let your guard down.

Genshu, on the other hand, was plainly, clearly, and obviously evil, in every sense of the word and he didn't even bother trying to hide it. It seems to me that you, as the author, even went a bit out of your way to make sure he had no redeeming qualities whatsoever.

Continuing on this lineup of villains, Kikyou seems to be a very odd choice. Now, I may be missing something here, but why on earth would she have anything against Kagome? I looked back through the story and I don't even think she made an apperance until Chapter 30. Only being mentioned off screen occasionally. So her participation in the last chapter seemed rather weird.

While I don't suppose it's particularly surprising, I didn't think InuYasha would go along with Genshu's 'plan' either. I know he wasn't particularly nice towards Kagome, but you did seem to make a point in the earlier chapters of showing a tiny bit of camraderie between the two, particularly when Shesshomaru had first marked Kagome.

Perhaps the reason why this is all so surprising to me most likely stems from the fact that most of these villains get little to no screen time. After the the point where Sesshomaru took Kagome to Kyoto (around chapter ten I believe) you barely ever see any of them. Kikyo never makes an apperance till chapter 30, Genshu and InuYasha stop getting screen time around chapter 11, and Sango dissapears after chapter 9 and doesn't reappear until chapter 30. So that's nearly twenty chapters that are just focused mainly on Sesshomaru and Kagome which is probably why it's so surprising when the story suddenly reminds us that there are people who don't like them being together. And then it's all wrapped up all in one chapter.

On the subject of confusing villains, it's never really clear to me why everyone is so hyperfocused on Kagome during this story. Sesshomaru is obvious, Sango has a pretty clear motive, but someone like Genshu seems a bit strange. I know he was trying for her during the first part of the story because she was pretty and convienient, but the sheer lengths he goes to to try and bed her are amazing, considering he could get just about any other female in his bed if he threw his money and position around. Which he seems to do a lot. It would make a bit more sense if he was using her to get to Sesshomaru, but you made it pretty clear he had quite an unhealthy lust for her.

So, let my wrap up my thoughts

Your story achieves a Good ranking. Sesshomaru and Kagome were spot on, but the cast of villains was weak, easily defeated, and had verly little presence in the story. Most times, Sesshomaru was a better villain than Genshu ever was. The emotional and relationship conflicts were good, but the other conflicts fell short of that benchmark. Deffinately something worth reading once, but not something that will go in my favorites section.

If there are plans for other stories, I look forward to them, although unless they make their way onto Dokuga then I probably won't be able to review them due to your block.

It is sad that yet another great story has come to an end, but the ending was great! Purifying Inuyasha and taking everything from genshu....perfect. To have them finally settle their differences and be accepting of each other and work things out, from the psychological standpoint and beyond, you crafted a great tale.  Great work and encouragement to do more!

Wow! Genshu is a really persistent S.O.B. isn't he? When will someone knock him and Inuyasha down a peg or two? And what does Maeko mean when she says that Genshu has no right to demand Sesshou to mate a demoness from a list he made up? I really hope Kagome will be allowed to kick Genshu and Inuyasha's asses very soon. I look forward to see how the residents of Kyoto palace will thwart Genshu's plans. You're indeed correct with your translation of Schwimmbad as public swimming pool cause it describes a pool that is made of brick, and therefore not so often to find in private gardens/houses.

When you do have such a Schwimmbad at home you'd say "Ich gehe in den Pool" more often than Schwimmbad nonetheless, cause the use of the term "swimming pool" is now more common in german for any kinda pool, be it of plastic or brick.

In regards of a little plastic pool (for kids) you could also use "Planschbecken".

Sesshoumaru has got to kill his father and brother.  He really can't believe that making her his mate will stop them.  They have no honor, they will still try to do whatever will please them.  I really, really hope that Sesshoumaru's mother stays with them.  Hopefully, with her there Sesshoumaru's father will be cowed.  He is such a bully, rapist, coward anyway.  Great update!  I really, really, really want Genshu and Inuyasha to get beaten badly!  Please!!!!

The allegation that she hated him left her totally incapable of speech." Had me in stitches I don't really know why but i have never snorted from laughing in my life until today. I love this story!
