The first chapter seems kinda like something from Kenshin. But i like it, it has a nice beginning. This is something you should pursue.

I'm finding the beginning of this story rather cute. I like the different spin you're weaving with the anime. I've always liked a strong human Kagome with a long lifeline to match her youkai mate. I just have one request, please make the chapters longer. They are rather short.
