I really loved this chapter. Inu's characterisation was spot on. He's rough around the edges, but not an ass. Also, he seems really happy with a different universe Kagome. It was really sweet. Also, baby!

And I literally laughed out loud with the Miroku snippet. That's top shelf humor, right there.

Oohhhhhh YEAH I love this story! The possibilities of not only the different husbands, but what weaknesses/strengths the partners might encourage in her!? Amazing. 

Oh how funny and sad at the same time....  I loved it....  Wonder what her life with Jinengi will be like?  Can't wait to find out...

Just started reading this. I like the premise! And the detail that Inu isn't going to grow/mature as fast as she is. Lovely way to have the disconnect without making him the Bad Guy.

This seems to be a real shock for her I'm glad she was reminded of how Sesshomaru is before all the sweet moments that have been stolen from each different husband. I think she really needed to have that small reality check there. It was to the T a perfect example of 'you don't know what you have till you lost it.' I hope that it will motivate her when she is done with the crazy ride she is on. First semi sexy scene too with the husband's and she got an ily that is precious she needed that I am sure. I am happy with the Sesshomaru in this one reminding her not to dwell on paths not taken it truly should stick with her and remind her of how lucky she is to get this chance to know of the things she doesn't want.

Loved this chapter! Kagome riding on wolves like Princess Mononoke, cute wolf cubs chewing on Sess's fur. I cringed at the inugami story; but Sess's reaction was great haha. So far, for husbands, Kouga isn't a bad choice. Sesshoumaru in this path doesn't seem to be pinning as hard, but that's probably for the best for the Kagome of this universe. Haha looking forward to Jineji's. Mother-in-Law hijinks! Can't wait for more!

omg! i absolutely love this chapter! it's super long and has so much depth, from kagome learning the various forms in which love can manifest, coming to understand and accept that she shouldn't judge the different versions of herself she comes across, and finally questioning what she brings to the table in each of these relationships other than what she alone benefits.

personally, i think this is something kagome struggles with on a deep level, knowing she isn't just filling someone else's shoes, or standing in another's shadow, or or or, and it's the biggest reason i could never get behind inukag from the get-go. their relationship never felt authentic and the very existence of it clashed with her character on so many levels it's honestly disconcerting when i went back and watched the anime as an adult. and your kagome feels very real in the sense that she can't exactly put her finger on what she wants, but she definitely knows what she does not want, and that's a path that leads somewhere. 

sorry for my rant.. your story has me hyped lol

also, i'm loving how she's starting to see sesshoumaru as an anchor in this crazy journey through realities. and this was her first taste of him in a new light! i bet the stars she's wondering when his turn will come lol. 

and their conversation, during his smoke sessh, really got to me. really brought sesshou's character to life with his brief speech on being his own person, and not allowing himself to bend under other's expectations of him to stand in his father's legacy. that piece of writing was very original for his character, (thank you for a breath of fresh air!) and it's a great way to show how they can relate to and lean on one another. that's the one thing that i've struggled with when it comes to sesskag (although i'll forever be a die-hard sesskag fan), and it's their ability to understand one another outside of being "incredibly powerful" and that being the key factor that draws them together >.> thanks for not making sesshoumaru seem shallow or power hungry. muh boi has depth!

oh oh! and his attentiveness! they're such small, insignificant considerations, but they mean the world when directed towards someone you care about. i love love love this!

i was not expecting you to have kagome fall in love with sesshoumaru through the little glimpses she catches of him on her journey. i thought she'd get to him and realise he's who she wants after going through so many people she learns she doesn't want, but boy is this so much sweeter, way more romantic! and i thank you for it! 

and i have to say, i am curious as to who set the rules & gave yua the power she wields. my first guess was our slick boi sesshoumaru, but after writing all of this i'm thinking midoriko? somehow? i dunno? or maybe keade? or sesshoumaru's mother? i have no freaking clue lol but i'm getting a very motherly/foxy vibe from the one behind the scenes.

So are we ignoring that that is obviously Sesshoumaru's baby, and that that was obviously what Miroku thought he was being told when Kagome first said she wanted to talk (and why he said he not to worry because [he] elready knew)? LOL I wonder how long Kagome will take to realize the pattern. She always cheats with Sesshomaru. Two out of three husbands sees an having an affair with Sessho.

This chapter was so necessary, completely unsurpising, and fitting. Miroku is always the one who offers understanding and introspection. And I am happy Kagome could share this with someone, even if it is a someone she will never ever see again (maybe Miroku can smooth things over with the upcoming living situation talk). But I feel really bad for him. This Miroku isn't happy and hasn't been since Sango died. A silver lining and progressive life it may be, but what a terrible compromise - half a life with a best friend you love is still half a life (and 3 mildly unsatisfied people in its wake). I hope Kagome can change things for the better for her timeline.  

So next up is our wolf. Somehow I don't see Kouga being as open-minded as Miroku is/was. LOL I also don't see an affair being quite as doable this time. I hope Kagome can learn from her Kouga scenario. Fantastic chapter! :D

This chapter was so different from what I had expected but no less enjoyable. I'm glad she told someone, and it was hilarious how he reached for his staff lol. I can't get over how ingenious this whole plot is. Cannot wait for the next chapter. 

Dont worry to me kagome sounded more confused about the open relationship then hateful also great chapter cant wait for the kouga one

That was friggin' amazing. I loved how you managed to stick Sesshou in there, and the baby's pointed ears, eeeee!! I could only imagine that Sess and Kagome in that universe got pretty busy just as Miroku has. And in a love hotel, who wouldn't? Gah, thank you! Can't wait to read more! 

I'm really enjoying this story! can't wait to see how her week with Koga goes.  I wonder when Kagome will notice that Sesshomaru is in love with her in all the different worlds and she has feelings towards him too

I love how you see that Sesshomaru is secretly in love with her and or there for her in pretty much every timeline so far From how he miss who she was an liked her fire essentially returning when with hojo. He changed his ways for her with inuyasha and he down right displayed his want for all of her and hinted at giving her and being everything she wanted with Miroku I look forward to reading the Koga chapter. This is soooo good! So, Kagome and Miroku have an open marriage? Does that mean the baby was actually Sesshoumaru's?? Can't wait to read the next chapter with Kouga!!
