My only criticism is the brevity, I think. While I've never considered this scenario, I find it interesting and if written well it can be plausible enough, as you've explained in chapter two. I do believe Kagome would certainly forgive others quickly, yet find it hard to forgive herself. Especially a perceived transgression against a loved one (extra especially a romantic partner, extra-extra especially someone like Sesshoumaru in his inherent perfection and her perceived perfection of him as a romantic partner, especially when he forgave her indiscretion).

I'm personally pretty open about sexuality, affection, and expression of care and love, also how they can manifest in our lives and relationships. However I recognize cultural norms and the affect they'll have on writers and readers, there's more than just what one has be taught in their own culture and experience, there's a world full of other people and differing ideas. It should be safe to explore them, especially in environments like fanfiction, which are by their nature venues for individuals to run free and explore.

I'd have liked, would like to see (and perhaps you plan on) more of this episode between Sesshoumaru and Hitomi. Abstinence for 10 years deserves more than one quick little kitchen table fuck. Plus, personally, I like to believe Sesshoumaru is very thorough. In my happy little fantasy after a minute of this post coital grinning that ended chapter two, Sesshoumaru will carry Hitomi up to her bed and procede to completely impede her ability to make dinner. I imagine her as a very frisky, bitey, wild cat, able to give Sesshoumaru a decent work out. Then Kagome will come home with pizza or some take out of choice because she is considerate and knows Sesshoumaru would be thorough and Hitomi spent. I kind of thought this wouldn't be good... But in fact I'm quite impressed.

I think it will be more accepted if you make kagome as a mother who hook up with her daughter boyfriend(sesshomaru). I think its more acceptable. Kagome married at young age with hojo and have rin as daughter, and then rin's boyfriend meet kagome and then they feel the interest. And then cheating behind rin's adn hojo back?xoxo....that my version. Sorry...to think sesshomaru and kagome's mom have something make me cringy and... I dont know....

That was kind of creepy. I think it'd be more novel and entertaining if this kind of thing, mothers hooking up with their kids' boyfriends, didn't actually happen in real life. 

I'm also a big NO on this one. There is no way I could even justify in my mind how this could stay sesskag focused. Seems like a story for a different fandom. Ultimate betrayal on a whole different level. There would be no reconciling for me in this situation!

Ahh, you know I really expect  more from kagome's mom.  Altruistic  and all that.   Sesshoumaru I regularly see being a dick.  It just seems wrong. Like I know it's a thing in some households but I always thought better of her character.
