I really like this and I hope you continue this story. I'm wondering what caused her to want to commit suicide. Don't apologize for long chapters. Usually I wish authors would make them longer after I've waited to read what happens next. I was very glad to read the part that nobody can dispute the mating. I'm so tired of reading otherwise good stories where Kagome is constantly challenged for her position as Sesshomaru's mate. It's tedious and so overused. It cheapens the depth of commitment mating is supposed to have versus marriage, and really doesn't say much for your mate's love for you if they'd put up with someone attacking you to take your place. I liked how you explained the background of this story's world and Sesshomaru's position in it. Taisho Industries as a safe haven for demons that also provides necessary goods and services for their special needs was a clever idea. So far Priceless has great potential and I look forward to reading more.
Just found this story when looking at the recent updates and new chapters listing. I really like how it starts out, with the explanation of the history over the last 500 years, demons integrating, and Sesshomaru's involvement in society. I also like how quickly things led to where the first chapter ended; it wasn't drawn out where it would take a lot of time (and chapters) for the two to meet, but the chapter gave enough information on why they met as they did.
As far as the gory blood thing, it doesn't bother me. While it might bother others, the situation described unfortunately happens in society. The chapter doesn't give the reasons for Kagome's (I assume it's Kagome) situation, and I look forward to future chapters providing those details. And with it, the resulting interaction between Sesshomaru and Kagome.
Please consider keeping this story, and continue writing chapters. I hope to read more soon! :)
