Mizu Kami by ChikaSuzuki

Chapter One -- Boarding the Mizu Kami --

--Disclaimer-- I do not own InuYasha, nor Titanic. But I do own this idea. Therefore don't steal it. In this chapter I got the last name Okinawa from Suki, so credit for that goes to her. The other last name's either belong with inuYasha, or are used from various manga books. I lack the creativity to come up with my own last names, so I give credit where credit is deserved. Hope you enjoy! Ja ne!

The ship was glorious. There was no doubt in that statement. Yet there were a few whom could not find it as enjoyable as others. A stagecoach pulled up ton the road in front of the docks. The large Mizu Kami standing brilliant in the short distance away from the road. The three cars that are in this group are filled to the brim with luggage. Chests filled with who knows what and a safe, holding the important belongings of this group inside.

With the help of the driver, a young woman steps out. She is clearly of a well-bred nature, her black locks pulled back out of her face, and curled at the ends tightly. A large hat rests upon her head, tilted slightly to the side. She wore a black gown, jewels imbedded in it, and casting a weird glow with the suns rays.

Stepping out after her a young man, short cropped blond hair, wearing a black suit. He was nearly a foot taller then the first young woman. But turns to her, smiling "Isn't it magnificent, Kagome?"

The woman looked up at the ship with a half frown, "InuYasha, I don't understand what all of the fuss is about. It looks no larger then the Sakura that we traveled to and from France on."

"Do not be silly!" InuYasha exclaimed, gaping at his fiancé, "This ship is nearly one hundred feet longer then the Sakura!" Turning to an older woman who stepped out of the car, looking very similar to Kagome. "Kikyou, your daughter is very difficult to impress."

To this Kikyou just smiled, looking ahead to Kagome, who was already heading towards the ship, speaking to her maid that was coming with her, Sango.

InuYasha shook his head, and followed after the two women. "Woman and ships, it amazes me how little they know..." He mumbled, speaking to himself though Kikyou could hear him. And to that she laughed.

Koga, InuYasha's butler, and partner, walked back to the servants working on the ship, giving them instructions to take the luggage to the Palace Suits, rooms fifty-six, and fifty-seven. Handing the servant a tip to take good care of their belongings he to follows Kagome, Sango, InuYasha, and Kikyou inside.

*~*

The suit was beautiful, and even Kagome, the hard to please daughter, had to admit it was glorious. She busied herself by hanging her paintings along the walls. Sango, setting vases of flowers along the fireplace mantel.

InuYasha stepped into the room, after a brief tour of the first-class area of the ship only the best for the Higarashi's. Though Kagome would soon be joining the Okinawa side of the family.

"Kagome darling, why do you insist on hanging those finger paintings upon every wall of every room you stay in?"

"They are not finger paintings!" She protested, sending a heated glare his way. "They are art. Beautiful art."

"And it is clear your definition of art differs from mine. These here are just mixed up figures."

"No, its Takahashi." Kagome corrected. "He is brilliant. All of his works are. They go deep into his emotions, deep into his dreams. And you can really see and feel the emotions he is trying to express."

"Takahashi? What kind of name is that I ask? The kind of name to belongs to someone who will be going no where in life." He stated. "No one is ever going to like his work, unless they are like you. Easily swayed by bright colors."

Kagome pouted glaring at him. "You know, if you do not value my opinions you can keep yours to yourself."

InuYasha rolled his eyes, turning to Koga who entered the room shortly after him. "Koga, go find what will shall be dining on this evening, and make arrangements for us to sit with the captains family."

"Yes sir." He nodded. And once again left the room. Koga was InuYasha's messenger. Anything InuYasha wanted, he got. That included the marriage to Kagome. Kagome's mother, Kikyou, had found it to be a good match, and therefore followed the tradition of telling Kagome she had no choice other then to marry him. And then of course, InuYasha had wanted the wedding in America, so that is where they were headed. To America, on the largest, unsinkable ship the Mizu Kami.

Once InuYasha turned from the room, having more important things to attend to then watching a woman hang paintings. Sango turned looking to Kagome. "Don't worry miss. He wouldn't know art if it smacked him square in the forehead."

"Sango, do not call me miss." She stated, glancing up, smirking at her. "He is foolish, nothing for anyone to worry about."

"I agree fully Kagome."

*~* Meanwhile...

The bar was packed to the brim. People shouting things about the Mizu Kami sitting at the dock, maybe half a mile away from the bar. A group sat in the corner, cards in their hands. Laying on the table, a few coins, more money in different forms, and two, bright green tickets. Tickets to board the Mizu Kami to go to America.

"Alright. Someone's life will change today." Miroku Houshi grinned. Glancing across the table at the two him and Sesshomaru Yatate were playing cards against, Naraku Shinichiro, and Kohaku Nanten.

Naraku smirked "Yes well better hurry up, the ship leaves in ten minutes."

Sesshomaru shrugged "Alright, cards out on the table." His blonde, almost silver and white hair went to his mid back and was tied in a low ponytail. A tattoo of a crescent moon was on his shoulder, which was uncovered by the black short-sleeved shirt

He wore. His legs clothed in grayish slacks, booted feet resting on the floor.

Miroku let his cards down on the table "Nadda." His black hair was short then Sesshomaru's but was in a tight ponytail. He wore a long sleeved tan shirt, and black pants.

"Alright nothing. Kohaku?"

He set down his cards "Same."

Sesshomaru spoke again "Alright then, Naraku."

Naraku smirked laying out his cards.

Sesshomaru frowned "Two pair...Oh...Miroku, we have a problem..."

Miroku panicked "No! You bet all of our things, how am I supposed to pay for dinner for my mother?!"

"Miroku, calm down. You wont see your mother for a very...Very long time...Because we're going to America!" He laughed at the look of shock written on Miroku's face. "Full house."

Miroku laughed, "We're going to America!!"

The bartender looked up at them then to the clock. "No boys, the Mizu Kami is going to America if you don't get there in five minutes!"

Both young men jumped from the chairs grabbing the money and tickets and took off towards the docks. Leaving a very pissed off Naraku and Kohaku behind them.

*~*

They ran down road and across the dock, their bags in hand. Dashing up the ladder connecting the ship to the dock, allowing passengers to get up. The ladder, already separating left a space between the ladder and the ship. Speaking to the man at the door Sesshomaru grinned.

"Wait! We're passengers!"

The man in uniform frowning "Have you gone through the check points?"

Miroku nodded "Of course!"

The man in uniform stepped from the door, allowing the two to jump on board.

Once inside, the two ran down the hall, both grinning.

Miroku punching Sesshomaru in the shoulder "I thought for sure you had lost all our money you ass!"

Sesshomaru grinned, "I try."

Going down the floors to third class, hey, they were lucky to be on the ship. Once there, it took a bit to find the room.

Sesshomaru pushed a door open, Miroku throwing his bags on the top bunk and climbing up, leaving the other two blinking in confusion speaking to each other in Japanese, "Where the hell is Naraku and Kohaku?!"

Sesshomaru and Naraku didn't seem to notice though as they laughed, and congratulated themselves, taking a few moments to introduce them selves to their roommates, laughing at the look of confusion.

-- Chika: Well, that was somewhat amazing. I typed that fairly quickly, and it was four pages on word. So, bravo to me! Heheh. Well I how you like it as much as I do right now. It is very similar to Titanic, but it is not following the script. It is following the same plot line. Though, this is my stoy so I will be changing things around as I feel. Thanks for reading! Please, review! All reviews will be posted at the end of every chapter! --
