Changing Sides by Inuyasha Heart

Prologue

Kagome ran away from the clearing as fast as her legs would carry her. Once again, the one she loved had broken her heart, had always loved. Inuyasha.

~ Flashback ~

Kagome woke up. The cool breeze blew her hair on her face as she sat up. Shivering, she looked up at the sky. By the position of the moon, it looked at about midnight. Quickly, she looked around the little group's camp. Inuyasha still wasn't back from "looking into something."

Worried, Kagome stood up and got her bow and arrows and walked off in the direction Inuyasha had taken. After a few minutes of walking she came upon a moonlit clearing. Kagome was horrified by what she saw.

In the middle of the small clearing, Inuyasha held Kikyo, the undead miko in his arms. He was kissing her with all the passion it seems he could muster. This was the fifth time she had seen them together.
