He was beautiful,lethal, and evil incarnate but he was also wounded; and I couldn't just leave him there to be dinner for someone even stronger than him I had to help him that was all there was to it, of course inuyasha's going to kill me if he finds out I'm aiding his greatest enemy but he can go screw his clay pot bitch for all I care.

I set my big yellow pack down by the tree where the cold hearted lord currently resided, when I was able to get closer to him, it was only then that I realized how badly injured he really was; His white kimono was drenched in blood and it looked like what ever had injured him was still in there it looked like part of an arrow, " could kikyo have done this?''

I was startled by the dry yet calm voice that had suddenly come from the demon lord that I was tending to; " First of all my name is kagome, not bitch or miko,and definately not wench.

He was silent for a minute or two, before he finally spoke up, fine kagome but make no mistake if you do anything to injure me further I will not hesitate to slice you in half.

" Ok but let's make a truce, do not attempt to injure me until you're well again agreed?

Good, now do you think you can stand there's a stream nearby; I'll be able to dress your wounds there; I

watched as the young lord pushed himself to a sitting position but that was as far as he got before collapsed against a tree, " you alright sesshoumaru here; he growled threateningly as he smacked my hand away damn it sesshoumaru why do you have to be so stubborn I said that I was gonna help you and I ment it now give me your hand!

Although he was shocked at her demands, out of habit he didn't let it show, after hesitating for moment he wrapped his clawed hand around her small dainty one and watched with slight amusement as she struggled to pull him to his feet.

Kagome stopped for a second as she heard him laugh, did I just here the great lord of the west laugh; hell must've frozen over.

" Even I am able to laugh sometimes or were you too dumb to realize it?''

Before I knew it sesshoumaru had me pinned to a nearby tree, his claws painfully digging into my throat yep I'd pissed him off even though he was near death that wasn't going to stop him from taking off my head.

If you ever speak to me that way again wounded or not I will kill you miko, is that clear?

Good, he stated calmly before walking off towards the stream I'd mentioned earlier I've never seen someone move as gracefuly as the Lord of the West did.

He'd made it to the stream before finally collapsing face down onto the hard ground of the forest floor, I grabbed my bag and ran to his side he was bleeding again but even in the state that he was in sesshoumaru was still incredibly handsome.

I flipped him over as gently as I could, before resting on top of his chest trying to catch my breath I quickly recovered and set out to pull him into a sitting position so I could heal his injuries, it was then that I realized that not only was his chest wounded but also his arm and hip.

I was more worried than I should've been for his welfare, I untied his kimono and nearly froze in shock he looked awful there was a deep gash just below his heart and what seemed like a piece of flesh missing from his upper arm there was also a wound of what looked like claw marks.

" Kami, who did this to you?"

He started to stir back to life so I wrapped my arms around him and pulled trying get him back into a sitting position we were now closer to the stream than before so I grabbed a clean cloth from my bag and dipped it into the cool waters of the stream when that was done I gently placed the cloth onto one of his wounds, thank god he was a demon and not human he probably wound've died from blood loose by now, I worked on the worst of his injuries first which just happen to be the arrow wound where this was still a piece of arrow protruding from sesshoumaru's chest; (unfortunately or forunately you decide) I had to remove the top half of his haori to get at it and they only way to do that was to get on top of him... gulp.

I awakened to feel a slight pressure on the upper half of my body I immediately knew who it was and released a growl of warning to the young miko who was perched above me;
