Revolutionary Boy Sesshomaru by Star-Rose

Ohtori Academy

It was the first day of a new school year at Ohtori Academy. All the students were bustling around. Today, they were allowed to roam around and do as they liked so they could get familiar with the school. One such student was doing just this. Sesshomaru, a senior at the high school, walked through the halls. He was just transfered here when his father told him the news.

-flashback-

A 15 year old Sesshomaru dropped all of his school stuff on the floor. He wasn't able to think or move. Then he looked down at his clenched hand. He opened his hand and looked at the ring with a rose crest on it

*It can't be. I'm....a rose prince?*

It finally struck him that his father wasn't one to fool around with information. Sesshomaru looked at his father with questioning eyes. He understood what was said, he just didn't believe it. His father smiled kindly at him.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier, but I felt that you weren't really ready. Now, though, comes the hardest part. Since you are Rose Prince Sesshomaru, I must send you away for your senior year. It's hard to grasp, I know, but there is a girl in need of your help. You'll understand when the time comes."

Sesshomaru nodded his understanding and bowed to his father.

"I understand, father. I will train all I can to become the prince that I'm suppose to be."

He watched as his father nodded and smiled.

"And I will be there to help you."

But that never came.

-end flashback-

*Dad died a few months after I started training. I was ready to give up, but I promised him I would be strong."

Sesshomaru looked down at his left hand and sighed. The rose crest on his ring shined in the light, marking him as a duelist. He always wondered what it would be like to actually duel for something. He was brought out of his thoughts when a young girl walked up to him.

"Hi! I'm Wakaba. Are you Sesshomaru by chance?"

Sesshomaru looked down at her, then smiled.

"Yes, I am. I take it you're the one who is to show me around?"He watched as her face lit up.

"Yup, follow me." He started walking after her, then, in a couple long strides, he was walking beside her. Wakaba took the time to take in his appearence. Tall, tanned, long white/silvery hair down to his knees, broad shoulders, masculine frame, handsome face, big hands. She blushed and stopped her train of thought and listed off the different halls, builidings and courtyards. Sesshomaru listened intently, memorizing everything. After Wakaba showed him everything that he needed to see, she turned and bowed to him. "Well, I must be off. I have a date with some friends of mine. Do you need me to show you your dorm?"

Sesshomaru shoke his head and smiled in return. "No, I know where it is. Thank you for all you have done for me." He then bowed to her and turned to leave. He looked over his shoulder and waved at her and watched as she practically melted. Sesshomaru chuckled to himself. *This will be an interesting year* When he made it back to his dorm, he was shocked to find that he was the only one using the entire dorm. He didn't mind though. Sesshomaru had checked it out before and sighed with relief. It was a 2 story building with rooms on the second floor, a piano room, swimming pool and workout room on the ground floor. Also there was a kitchen, a shower room and living room. Sesshomaru shrugged and walked to his room. He threw his jacket on the chair with his tie. His luggage was already here. After he had unpacked and put everything away, he went to the school for orientation. Now he pulled off his school clothes and put on his silk pj pants and a tanktop. As he laid in his bed, he thought about the future duels he had been warned about and who the rose bride was. "I guess I'll find out soon enough." That being said, his eyes slowly slid shut and he gratefully let sleep take over him.
