Growl.........

She wore that scarf again! She wears that on every damn date. I hate 'it', no, I loathe 'it'!!

A young man with silver hair walked down the lonely streets with his raven haired girlfriend who was chirpy at the moment.

Now why do I hate 'it'? Let's see.......................................................................................... 'it' gets in the way on my claws, I can't kiss my GIRLFRIEND because 'it' gets in may, 'it' makes me sneeze, 'it' hides her beautiful neck and, there is no end (AN: nor to this story).

'Today I have to ask her why??'

"Kagome, why do you wear that scarf?" Sesshoumaru asked. Slightly surprised by the question, she startled, then calmed and then blushed and was embarrassed.

Curious as to why so many emotions were displayed, "Why?" I asked again. "It's a reminder" she quickly said but was still flushed.

'What could it be a reminder of? Was it someone who gave her the scarf? Worse, what if it was the despicable hanyou? Hasn't she forgotten him, even after he cheated on her? Or maybe I'm just delusional, it might even be her mother' I pondered.

"Who?" I asked. "Who 'who'?" she asked curiously with no signs of deception. "Who gave you the scarf?" I asked. She blinked and then answered "No one! I bought it when I went shopping with Sango if I remember correct." Then again there was no lie.

'What did it remind her of that she has to wear it to every single date that we went to?' I thought, almost losing control.

"Well, what does it remind you of?" I asked in an emotionless voice.

"We-ll, I-" she stuttered to which I gave no support, hell I was pissed. One would be if they were with 'it'. "Yes" I insisted. "I was going through my shelf, you see, annnnnnnd I-" she said. "And" I insisted again. "Well you see, it's kind of like-" she continued. "Don't beat around the bush Kagome" I told her intimidating.

"I can't tell you" she suddenly declared.

GROWLLLLLLLL......

She heard the growl this time and swallowed a lump. "I- can't tell you...............but" she said reaching for her scarf. Before he could blink she had it around his neck and pulled him down to a REAL deep kiss.

"Well, now you know" she said.

"You know, maybe I won't hate that scarf so much now" I said in her ear.
