Kagome watched Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru fight. Inuyasha was badly wounded; Sesshoumaru on the other was in better condition. Kagome was paralyzed. 'I don't want to watch this!' Kagome screamed at the twin spirits that held her. "You must, Kagome," The spirit named Hitomo hissed at Kagome. Her crimson eyes lit up.

"You will never be able to kill the demon that will kill us all if you don't. We only want to help you Kagome." The other spirit named Hitomi said. Hitomi's golden hair slipped out of her long braid as the wind played with it. "Please Kagome, let us help you. No one can see us or hear us except you."

Sango, Shippo, and Miroku were to busy fighting a demon snake to help Inuyasha. The demon rapped its long blood red tale around Sango and Miroku. It held them high up in the air and hissed at them. It was enjoying watching the two humans scream and squirm. 'Two humans to eat and a kitsune pup.' The snake demon thought. It laughed at its own thought.

"Let them go!" Shippo yelled at the blood red demon snake. The demon's amber eyes lock on the young kitsune pup. The demon growled and spat a paralyzing poison on Shippo. The poison was deadly if a pup touched it. Shippo let out a cry of pain and fear before his body went limp. The snake tightened its hold on Sango and Miroku.

"Sh...Shippo...no..." Sango said as her and Miroku's bodies went limp.

"No..." Kagome cried. 'I can't take it STOP!!!'

"Kagome it'll...it'll be alright I promise." Hitomo said sarcastically. Kagome bit her lip. 'It isn't going to be alright, is it?' Sesshoumaru drove his poison claws deep in to Inuyasha's chest. Inuyasha wailed in pain as blood splattered from his wound.

"Never turn your back on an enemy brother; I thought you would have learned that by know." Sesshoumaru said in a cool, but cruel voice. Inuyasha let out a pain filled howl before dieing. Sesshoumaru smirked as he dropped his dead brother's body. It landed on the dirt with a loud 'thump'. Sesshoumaru grabbed the Tetsusaiga. A few tears slipped down Kagome's pale face.

"I'm sorry Kagome." Hitomi whispered her blue gray eyes hade begun to water. "I'm sorry..."

"No...no...NO!!!" Kagome screamed. It hurt so much that Kagome fond it hard to breath. Hitomo smirked and then she and Hitomi went back in to the Shikon Jewel. The complete Shikon Jewel glowed and Kagome floated 4 ft off the ground. The snake demon hissed and slithered away it didn't like this power that was coming from Kagome.

"Why did you betray me...? Hitomi, Hitomo, Miya, Miyako how could you..."Kagome whispered. A dark light surrounded Kagome and the Shikon Jewel. 'What is happening? What is this strange power?' Kagome wondered.

"You tried so hard to clense us and yet now you're feeding us your anger, pain, and fear" Miya answered.

"Why is your heart so clouded?" Miyako asked.

"So my brother's wench has some power." Sesshoumaru said. He didn't like this at all. Something was wrong. This miko, this Kagome girl was not like Inuyasha's dead wench. She was different. She was powerful. An arrow shot pass Sesshoumaru and slammed in to Kagome's chest. The Shikon jewel disappeared and so did the dark aura that was around it and Kagome. Kagome collapsed. She was bleeding and unconscious. Sesshoumaru growled as the dead miko fled. Sesshoumaru walked over to Kagome and pulled out the arrow. His claws had some of Kagome's blood on them. He licked her blood off his claws. Kagome's blood tasted sweet. It was full of power.

"Stupid dead miko." Sesshoumaru spat. He picked up Kagome.

'Rin needs an okaa-san ...' Sesshoumaru thought. 'Inuyasha's wench will do.'

He jumped into the air with his tail rapped tightly around Kagome. He new Rin would be happy about having a mother. But what would she think about Kagome. He looked at the wounded Miko. 'Will you survive wench...'

4 day's later

Rin ran up and down the halls with a huge grin on her face. Sesshoumaru had returned 3 nights ago while Rin was sleeping. He had brought her a mother. Rin was so happy when she fond out this morning. Sesshoumaru hade kept it a secretand just to annoy Jaken she was screaming and running up and down the halls.

"SESSHOUMARU-SAMA BRANG RIN HOME AN OKKAA-SAN!!!" Rin screamed.

'YAY! I'm so happy!'

"Are you, Rin, are you truly happy?" a voice asked. Rin stopped in the middle of her run and looked both ways. Jaken wasn't there, no one was there.

"Who said that?" Rin asked in a shaky voice. She turned around. In front of her stood a beautiful young woman. She hade wavy dark brown hair that came down to her elbows. Her eyes were dark brown. Her skin was snow white. She wore a silver kimono. Her eyes were tearing.

"My name is Miya Rin." The women answered.

"My name is Rin. Why are you crying Miya Rin?"

"You can call me Miya. My first name is Rin. My mother added Miya to my name. I had lived with a man named Sesshoumaru for as long as I can remember. My mothers name was Kagome. She died in a battle against a great demon. My father Sesshoumaru died 3 days after. That's why I am crying."

"Your name is the same as mine."

"What if I were to say that you and I... that we are the same person?"

"Rin would think your silly."

"Well we are."

"But..."

"Silence Rin. I need you to do something for me."

"What is it?"

"Make Sesshoumaru and Kagome learn to work together and enhance their powers. Would you do that for me Rin, please?

Rin nodded her head. Miya smiled and disappeared. Rin looked around for her new found friend.

"Rin, I'll never leave you. I'll do what I want, but I can't hide.

I will see you again with another favor. It is important that you make them enhance there powers."

"Okay." Rin ran down the hall. 'I have to find Sesshoumaru-sama. Miya is counting on me.' Rin thought.

"SESSHOUMARU-SAMA!!! SESSHOUMARU- SAMA!!!!" Rin was scared. 'Miya sounded like she was in trouble.' Rin thought. Rin ran straight into the room Kagome was in. Rin ran into Kagome's arms.

"Rin are you okay?" Kagome asked.

"No, Rin is not okay. Okaa-san you and Sesshoumaru-sama need to work with each other for Miya's sake." Rin cried she buried her face deep into Kagome's kimono.

"Nani?" Kagome asked. Sesshoumaru entered the room wondering why Rin had been screaming. He looked at Kagome and Rin.

"Miya... needs... you... and Sesshoumaru... to... to... to work together... and... and enhance... your powers." Rin said between sobs.

"Who is Miya, Rin?" Sesshoumaru asked.

"She is Rin... and... Rin is she..." Rin answered and fell asleep. Kagome looked at Sesshoumaru and then lay Rin down on the bed. Rin curled up into a tight ball.

'Miya, why didn't you tell me?' Kagome asked the spirit.

"Because you wouldn't understand, Kagome, I am the feuture Rin. You named me Miya when I turned 10. You said that the name Miya Rin sounded kawaii." Miya answered. Hitomo and Hitomi smiled. Miyako looked away. Kagome and Sesshoumaru left the room and went to the gardens.

"What did she mean by that?" Sesshoumaru thought aloud.

"I don't know Sesshoumaru-sama," Kagome said.

"I wasn't talking to you wench." Sesshoumaru told Kagome.

"Well excuse me for thinking that you were!"

"Don't raise your voice at me."

"I'll do what I want when ever I want!"

Sesshoumaru grabbed Kamome's throat. He could kill her right there and then. But he wouldn't. He looked at her before letting go.

"My patience is wearing thin." Sesshoumaru said.

"I'm sorry..." Kagome whispered. Sesshoumaru looked at her. Kagome's head was down and she was fidgeting. 'What are you thinking?' Sesshoumaru thought.

"Why?" Sesshoumaru asked Kagome. A tear slipped down Kagome's cheek. She looked up at him and said: "Sesshoumaru-sama I... I need to go home. I... can't stay with you or Rin."

Kagome ran as fast as she could away from Sesshoumaru. Sesshoumaru blinked. 'What cose she mean by that?' Sesshoum aru thought. He watched Kagome run off and he went after her.

Kagome reached the well. 'Good bye. I'll miss it here.' Kagome thought. Sesshoumaru ran into the clearing. Kagome looked at him and jumped through.
