Crimson by Mystic Miko

Crimson Flow

Disclaimer: Don't own, never will, can I go cry now?

Dark, staining, seeping.

Kagome's world was falling apart, she didn't know what to do. How had it all gone so wrong?

Oozing, clotting, destroying.

Why had he done something so foolish? She hated him! She hated him because he was gone, because he had chosen her life over his.

Burning, tainting, multiplying.

And now Sesshomaru was gone and all that connected her to her lost love was his blood dripping off of her.

Spreading a crimson halo.

She looked up slowly, hatred burning in her eyes even as his rich red blood coated her skin.

Creating a barrier of red love.

He had done this. He had killed the man she loved.

Forever tattooing onto the skin of what was there.

And suddenly the need for vengeance was overwhelming, she had to do it. She had to kill him.

The crimson glow of death.

And so she did. She launched herself at him, Sesshomaru's crimson blood giving her wings.

The paint of ever-life.

She wished yet again that she had changed her mind. That she hadn't given the completed jewel to him; hadn't allowed him to wish himself into a full demon, a mindless thing.

Red power.

She whispered her love to Sesshomaru just as she purified her once best friend and crush, just as his claws embedded themselves in her chest; her own crimson flow joining and mingling with Sesshomaru's.

Crimson blood.

Together even in death.

So, tell me what you thought if you please. Hope you enjoyed it. Thanks for reading!
