Chapter 1: A Boy, Forgotten and Abused

Kagome stared at her little boy. His eyes were golden, like his fathers'. The little dog demon stared up at his mother. He had a crescent moon on his forehead, three maroon stripes on either cheek, as well as two on his forearms, calves, and sides. He had long silver hair that had streaks of black in it. He also had pointed ears. He was getting bigger. The two month old stared at his mother adoringly. Kagome was happy.

///////////////////////////// 8 Months Later//////////////////////

The young miko ran, holding her dear child in her arms. The villagers were so cruel. When they had found out that the miko's son was a demon, they grew frightened and chased her away from her home. Kagome ran through the woods. Suddenly, a villager jumped in front of her. He swung out at her. The miko's vision went back and she collapsed to the ground. The man called over the other villagers. They took the child and the mother. The villager that hit the miko tied her up and stuck her on the back of his horse. Proclaiming her to be a demoness, the villagers dumped her into the river, hopefully to end her hell-wrought life. Then, they took the child. He was strong, probably too strong. They all decided that they would raise him as a slave and sell him when he was old enough to marry.

//////////////////////////////////15 years later//////////////////////////////////////////////

The boy woke up at 5 o'clock and went outside. He wore hardly any clothes and dirt covered any special markings he might have had. The boy could not remember the last time he had bathed. He walked down the dirt path to do his daily chores. The day went on and many insults were thrown his way, as usual. As he came back to eat his meager meal of bread crumbs and water, one of the cocky village boys, around the same age as himself, hit him in the back with a wet wooden board. The villager giggled then ran away. The lonely boy suppressed a growl and kept walking, his beautiful silver and black hair falling in his face, since the leather strip holding it back had undone. The boy's hair went down to his ankles and everyone said he looked like a girl, but for some unknown reason, the boy liked his hair long. It gave him a sense of security, a shelter from the storm of peasants that constantly insulted and beat him, saying that they were above his lowly demon self. The boy did not pity himself, just swore that one day he would escape his abusive masters.

Dinnertime came and the boy served his masters, staying out of their line of vision, the men and women of the village all drinking too much. One woman, completely intoxicated, called him over. As he walked over, two men grabbed him from behind. They pulled him over to a wooden plank and tossed him down on it. They tied his arms and legs down with leather straps. The woman who had called him over walked over and undid the loincloth that covered him. All the women walked over, surrounding him. One woman after another pulled their skirts up and straddled the young demon. They put themselves on him and raped him. If he protested, one of the men grabbed a pointed stick, dipped in poison to slow down his healing abilities, and jabbed it into the boy's chest, giving the women something to hold onto, making the pain worse for the boy. The young demon refused to cry out, although the pain was excruciating. The night went on and the women passed out alongside the men. The young demon, too hurt to sleep, broke the leather bindings on his arms and sat up. He then pulled the bindings off of his legs. He stood up, ignoring the pain and ache, and retrieved his loincloth. He did as he was told to do a long time ago and broke the sticks, leaving the tips in his flesh. He went back to the barn he slept in and grabbed a bandage, tying it around his battered chest, making sure to cover all of the wounds. Exhausted, he drifted off to sleep on the hay bed he had made.

The next few weeks were much the same as that night had been, the young demon being raped and abused. A few weeks later came market day. Anything that needed to be sold was sold down the road in the town of Brisby. Brisby was a big town that was used as a marketing town every month. The folks living in the towns around it came together once a month to sell what was unneeded or to buy what was.

The villagers of the town of Pristin, where the young demon had grown up, made their way down the road, demon in tow. They had tied the young demon to a wooden railing on one of the wagons, making him walk behind it with his arms above his head because of how high the railing was. They cleaned him up so that they could sell him. Now, well-toned muscles from long days of hard work shone in a very attractive way on his tanned body. The man's long hair was tied up in a braid that swayed on the ground, as he walked, not a strand out of place. The markings of his demonic heritage showing brightly, like the sun. The crescent moon blatantly displayed on his forehead. He was wearing his usual loincloth, the cloth tight, showing off his well-defined legs. The corded muscles in his shoulders were stretched from his arms being above his head. The demon hung his head, trying to avoid the sunlight, which burned his sensitive eyes. It was a hot summer day and it was going to be a very long one, too. The demon sighed. Who know what lie ahead for the young demon?
