She waits for him,

In their secret place.

He runs to her,

and he sighs as he sees her face.

She loves him, and he loves her.

But their love is a secret,

Hidden in the dark.

Never seeing the light of day.

Regrets in the night are made.

When the sun rises, they go their seperate ways.

Dawn finds them waiting for dusk,

Dusk find them awaiting each other.

The moon and the stars are the only witnesses to their love.

When they leave their secret place,

They both lookj back,

For a last glimpse of the other's face.

And then they're gone,

As if they never were.

In the day, if they meet,

They nod and pass as strangers would.

And they keep their love a secret,

Hidden as a pirate's cove from the world.

Their secret love,

Their secret life.
