The Boy Who Overcame Time and the Boy Who Was Just Overcome

Late! There he was, late again! Damn alarm clock!

Sesshoumaru took his books, put them in his bag and quickly left the house. But when he was just about to leave the family shrine, Sota, his younger brother, called him:

"Sesshoumaru! Wait!"

Grumbling about his brother always calling him at the wrong time, Sesshoumaru stopped in his heels and turned around.

"What is it Sota?" he shouted to his little brother who seemed scared like shit. 'That's strange' he told himself.

"Buyo went into the old shrine again" Sota answered.

"Then go get him!" 'Come on, I have better things to do! Little brat!'

But Sota just look at him, panicked. Sesshoumaru growled to himself, went pass him and into the old shrine.

"Scary cat" he said to his brother, who only gave him a dark glare.

Sesshoumaru went down in the old shrine, but couldn't find anywhere his big cat, Buyo. He frowned his eyebrows and turned to see Sota up at the entrance of the shrine.

"Where is he anyway?" he asked at him.

"I don't know, I saw him get down there and disappear... I heard some noises and got scared."

"That was probably just the cat, you idiot!"

Then he heard some big noises and he froze. Trembling, he slowly turned towards the well only to see Buyo there. He nervously laughed at himself for one second believing in his brother's fears. He picked up Buyo in his arms and moving towards his brother, he said:

"See, it was just Buyo"

"Ya well, you were scared too!"

"Was not!" Then, to Buyo "Why did you come down here anyway, huh?"

But as he said that, he felt some disgusting thing wrapping around his chest and he automatically dropped Buyo, who ran off.

"What the!?" he scream as he was brought by a giant centipede down the well.

"Hmm I smell it... I can feel it...The Shikon Jewel, give it to me!" he heard the awful thing say while bringing him in front of its face.

"What the hell! Let me go!" he said pushing it away from his face.

When he did so, a strange light came out of his hand and blew the centipede away from him. Sesshoumaru calmed himself down only to realize that he was still falling in the well, even if it had been minutes since that thing got him down here. 'Is there any end to this!?' he said to himself. There it was; land. He sighed and slowed down in his fall. When he touched ground, he lifted his head up to see light.

"Sota? Are you still there?" he asked aloud. But he didn't hear his brother answer. "That brat probably got scared and ran off" he muttered to himself and started climbing up. When he got himself out of the well, he just froze when he saw... a forest.

"Wait... That wasn't there before..." he said. He looked around and got more confused when he realized it wasn't a small forest at all. Where was the family shrine? It couldn't just disappear like that... He sighed and started moving. After all, it was no point in staying there. Some minutes later, he found himself in front of a tree. And pinned to the tree was...

"A boy?"

He moved closer and saw it was really a boy. He went in front of him and saw little dog ears.

"Huh?" Then, without thinking, he touched his ears. Soft...

"Hey demon!"

Sesshoumaru froze and saw some weird looking villagers pointing their arms at him

The day had been very long for Sesshoumaru. After being accused of being a "demon", whatever that was, Kaede tried to purify him, admitted he didn't look like a demon, said she didn't know how to send her back into the present... Yup, that had been a harsh day! The funny thing was that Kaede said he looked like her older dead sister...

'Great, I look like a girl! That's just great great and great! Kami-sama, could things be worst?'

He heard screams and he wished he hadn't think that. He then saw the giant centipede coming his way, killing everyone in its way.

'Shit! It came for me, this is my entire fault...' he thought. "Hey miss centipede! This way!" he screamed.

He ran off towards the forest as fast as he could. But the centipede was much faster than him. Fear started to overwhelmed him and it took him everything not to cry.

"Please someone, anyone, save me!" he cried in despair. But as he said that, he just fell in front of the tree. The sacred tree, the same as in his family shrine, except for this one had a half-demon pinned to it. He got up and heard some male voice saying:

"What is it Kikyo? You afraid of a little insect?"

Sesshoumaru saw the hanyou talking to him and couldn't believe it.

"How did you call me?" he said, confused.

"What, did you forget your name already!?" laughed the hanyou.

Sesshoumaru got mad.

"My name is Sesshoumaru and I advise you to remember it!"

The hanyou seemed confused for a second but just smirked at him.

"What kind of spell are you suffering from Kikyo?" he mocked.

"Ses-shou-ma-ru! I'm a boy damnit!"

The hanyou look at him and started laughing.

"Ya I'm sorry about that, I should have know any way, Kikyo's much prettier."

"What!?"

But then the centipede arrived and Sesshoumaru was brought to reality. He screamed, a little bit more like a girl, and ran to Inuyasha. Sesshoumaru remembered Kaede's story about her sister, Kikyo, but he didn't care about Inuyasha being a half demon. He had the feeling the hanyou could help him, but as he got in front of the silver haired hanyou, the centipede pinned him to the tree, just in front of Inuyasha.

All of the rest went pretty fast for Sesshoumaru. He remember setting free Inuyasha by pulling at the cursed arrow, being cut by the demon, allowing a weird pink jewel to come out of him, and being saved by Inuyasha. Still confused (and impressed by Inuyasha's strength), he took the jewel in his hand and looked at it.

'Since when is this thing inside of me?'

"Give it to me" he then heard Inuyasha saying to him. "Give me the Shikon Jewel or I'll kill you."

"Don't give it to him Sesshoumaru" said Kaede who had just arrived.

"Give it to me you damn human!" Inuyasha then attacked Sesshoumaru who fled just in time.

Sesshoumaru panicked and ran away from him, yelling to Kaede to do something. He saw something flew just by him and get around Inuyasha's neck. That had made him stopped only to make him laugh.

"A necklace? You can do better than that, priestess!" he said.

"Sesshoumaru, the word!" told him Kaede.

"The what?!" Sesshoumaru was taken aback.

Inuyasha had had enough. He rushed towards him and Sesshoumaru yelled the only thing that came into his mind :

"Sit!"
