A Party To Die For

Me: This is a story my friends and I wrote in Pre-AP English 1.

A Party to Die For

"And this, my good people is the Kage Mansion. Yes time for 'ohh's and 'ahh's and camera flashes." The tour guide continued talking as she led the group away leaving three teenagers behind.

"So . . . . ." Inuyasha spoke as he leaned back, "Who wants to go in?" His amber eyes held a mischievous glint and his long silver hair swayed behind him.

"Uhah. No way. Not again." Kagome's blue eyes were closed and her long black hair swished around behind her as she violently shook her head. "This always happens! Always! You always find some creepy place to explore. I always tell you not to because something bad always happens. Besides, that house practically screams murder!"

Sesshoumaru stood behind them and rolled his golden eyes at their bickering. His silver hair hung straight down, as always.

Inuyasha's eyes took on a mischievous glint as he ran and jumped the fence surrounding the mansion. "Fine, I'll go in and you guys can stay out here!"

"Fine! We will!" Kagome shouted at Inuyasha's disappearing form. She then sat down on the ground and pouted.

Sesshoumaru stood there. "It's gonna rain . . . . And we're gonna get stuck here . . . joy . . ." He then walked over to where Kagome was pouting, picked her up, threw her over his shoulder, ignored her screaming protests, and walked into the mansion.

"No! Put me down Sesshoumaru! I don't wanna go in there! No! I said no! You can't make me go in there!" Kagome screamed as if her life depended on it.

"Watch me," Sesshoumaru calmly said and kept walking ignoring Kagome's kicks and punches.

"Well this is disgusting," Sesshoumaru said as if he didn't care, while Kagome, who had been put down, shuddered in horror at the layers of dust on everything and the cobwebs in the corners.

As soon as the door shut Inuyasha jumped from his hiding place and grabbed Kagome's sides, scaring the shit out of her. Kagome screamed and cowered behind Sesshoumaru. Inuyasha rolled around on the dusty floor laughing.

"Ok, you had your fun now let's leave." Sesshoumaru felt a chill go down his spine.

"Ok, ok, we can leave," Inuyasha turned and pulled on the door handle. It wouldn't move. He tried again. It still wouldn't budge.

"Quit screwing around, Inuyasha." Kagome yelled; still behind Sesshoumaru, who pulled her around and wrapped his arms around her shoulders as he held her close.

"I'm not playing. It really won't open!" Sesshoumaru went to help while Kagome stood there, staring at the dust with a look of utmost disgust upon her face. She gave a start when Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru flew past her head.

"Great. It's raining, getting dark, and we're locked in a creepy mansion. And this is your fault!" Kagome screamed and whacked Inuyasha over the head. Sesshoumaru wasn't really paying attention to them as he looked around the room. Something moving in the corner caught his eye.

"Guys."

"If you hadn't jumped the fence," Kagome shouted.

"Guys," Sesshoumaru said a little louder.

"No one said you had to follow me!" Inuyasha shouted back.

"Guys!" Sesshoumaru yelled.

They turned, "Can't you see we're trying to argue here?!" They yelled at him. Sesshoumaru blinked. He then pointed toward the corner, where he had seen movement. They turned in unison and saw a transparent little girl. This would have been odd on normal circumstances, but even more so now since she had a demented smile on her face and was covered in blood. Her nightgown, once white, was now red and torn in several places.

Sesshoumaru stared unblinkingly. Kagome screamed and hid behind Sesshoumaru again. Inuyasha was motionless, eyes wide in horror. A clap of thunder of thunder boomed and lighting flashed illuminating her blood covered form and her demented smile.

The ghost tiled her head to the side, still smiling that demented smile, "Are you here for party? We can play tag . . . . . I'll go get the knives . . . . ."

-Clunk- Kagome hit the ground and started sliding backwards as fast as possible and hit the wall. "Wellweenjoyedyourpartygottogobye!"

"Wait! Aren't you gonna stay for my party? I made the cake myself! And I made dinner!" She pouted then held up a blue collar. "But I still have my doggie's collar . . . . . I couldn't figure out how to put it in the stew . . . . ." She trailed off and the demented smile came back, once more illuminated by lighting. She then turned and floated through the wall.

Kagome grabbed Inuyasha and had screaming hysterics, while Inuyasha remained in shock. Sesshoumaru stared at the spot the little girl had disappeared curiously.

The little girl floated back into the room with several weapons in her hands. "Well, why haven't started running?" She asked as she held up the weapons.

Kagome grabbed Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha and ran. The little girl followed, throwing weapons at random.

"You've lasted so much longer than my other guests . . . . ." She cackled manically.

They ran up the stairs and saw no escape. They ran into a room and locked the door, and then Kagome collapsed. Inuyasha had blood running down his leg, Kagome's hand was bleeding, and Sesshoumaru had several knives sticking out of his back. Looking around frantically, Sesshoumaru saw a window. He threw his half-brother and his girlfriend out the window and followed. They ran away as fast as they could.

They fell asleep miles away.

When Kagome and Inuyasha woke up they found Sesshoumaru's body hanging from a tree horribly mutilated. Kagome screaming and started sobbing, while Inuyasha silently cried. Written in Sesshoumaru's blood on a large boulder was "Why didn't you stay for my party? Sesshoumaru and I had so much fun . . . . ." Sesshoumaru's eyes stared blankly and blood still dripped from his body.

Me: What do ya think?
