Alright, Chapter 8 of Dontcha Know is almost done, but until then, I got this idea for a one shot to tide you over :). I hope you like it.
Secrets
You're a little obsessed with me
Kagome looked over her shoulder at the male beside her. He was started to creep her out. She had been over at his house yesturday and she could of swore she saw a picture of her with a hair beside it. While she couldn't be sure if it was actually her hair, it still creeped her out that he had a picture of her. Where did he get it? She did not remember it being taken.
And I'm a little bit scared of you
Picking up her pace slightly she glanced back at the male behind her. He was still there. Was he following her? Kagome mentally shook her head as she weaved her way through the crowds of people. Looking back again she saw him follow her exact path. What the heck!? Was he trying to scare her? Her eyes widened as she saw him staring back at her. When did he look at her? Has he always been staring at her? Oh God. Now was the time to run.
The way you look and stare at me
Kagome snapped her head back and raised it a milometer or two. She would not stare at the creep that was staring at her. He was just plain creepy. Kagome shuddered, she felt like he just violated her with his eyes. What was he trying to do to her? Did he need help? Mental help? Possibly; probably.
Maybe it's time I let you know
Kagome smiled when she reached her house. She was save there. He was not going to be getting inside her house. No way not happening.
" Kagome.." His voice trailed off. It was such a nice voice. In a weird, creepy sort of way.
Turning towards him, Kagome's eyes flashed with anger. She was sick of this physco following her.
" I would like to go out with you. Please say yes." He said calmly.
Who did this guy think he was. He was been practically stalking her. Ha! As if she would go out with him. He was delisiounal.
You could call me six times but still I won't pick up the phone
You could spend all your money on me
but still I'll say no
You could write a million letters everyday confessing to me
That I am the girl of your dreams
But nobody ever asked me
I never looked at you that way
" Okay, I will not go out with you. I have never thought of you that way. You need to stop following me. It's creeping me out. Sorry but I won't say yes. It is a definite no." Kagome said and began the long journey up the stairs to her house. Why did they have so many stairs, it made her get away a little less effective.
'Cause I always thought you were gay
Kagome shook her head as she made her attempt at a fast get away that was really a slow walk up the stairs to her house. She could have sworn that he was homosexual, gay, into his own, all that jazz. Now, Kagome had nothing agaisnt homosexuals but, with that long perfect hair, slightly femine face, and soft eyes had her gay-dar going crazy!
Every time you come around
You just look me up and down
Kagome paused on the stairs and turned her head around to see if he had left. What she saw was that firstly he was still there. Secondly that his eyes were on her, but not staring at her eyes, rather somewhere else. She turned her head back quickly, she would not stare at him staring at her, when he was not staring at her face. No she wouldn't!
And then you try to hold my hand
I'm confused now I don't understand
Kagome swung her arm back to try to increase the speed she would go at, when she took her first step. Swinging her arm back with all her power she almost fell forward when it was stopped in it's movement, only to be pulled back against a hard chest.
"Wha-" Kagome started to say in anger at being pulled back by the one man she did not want touching her.
"Kagome, please, just consider it." With that he let go of her and waited for her to say something.
"Fine!" Kagome said harshly. She would 'consider' him. Ha! Right, she'd get right on that! After agreeing she turned and booted it up the stairs, forgoing the idea of getting more momentum, all she needed was for him to grab her again.
Reaching the top of the stairs she once again turned to make sure the stalker wasn't still there, she was shocked at her reaction of being dissappointed that he had left and was not watching her. What the hell?
Kagome went to bed that night, confuzed but happy that he would never talk to her again.
Kagome groaned in the morning when she was woken by the shrill ringing of the telephone. Ignoring it once she saw that the caller ID had to say. In her terms: Creep, Stalker. Unknown Number. She did not want to talk to him, no sirey! Not happening!
She smiled when the phone stopped ringing only to groan again when the phone started to make it's shrill cry again.
You could call me six times but still I won't pick up the phone
Kagome stopped counting after 6 times, but she knew it rang more than that, but she could only listen so much. It took along time however to decided to take the phone off the hook. She was concerned that someone would call, someone that mattered.
You could spend all your money on me
but still I'll say no
Walking downstairs she saw a dozen roses and a small wrapped box beside it.
"Kagome dear, who got you the flowers and gift? A boy? Well hurry up open it!" Kagome's mother said excitedly to her ever hesitant daughter.
Kagome frowned when her mother brought up that a boy sent it, he just couldn't take a hint. Deciding to heed her mothers command she slowly unwrapped the box, to discover it was covered in black felt and she felt her heart pause and eyes widen.
He bought her jewellery? Was he desperate?
Inside she found a silver braclet that had pink heart jewells, twelve in all. To match the bracelet were silver earings with pink hearts and a silver chain, that of course, had a pink heart.
Kagome caught herself smileing, the pink, was not bright, are barely pink, it was soft baby pink, with a sparkle.
Shuting the box she frowned. She was never going to wear any of it. She was going to give it to him the next time she saw him. She was not going to go out with him, he just couldn't seem to get it!
You could write a million letters everyday confessing to me
That I am the girl of your dreams
Kagome didn't run into the man for a couple of days, but that does not mean however that her days with out the 'Stalker Creep' were uneventful. In the 2 days that she hadn't seen him, she had recieved too many letters to even bother counting, all with on line. Of course she stopped reading them after what seemed like the millionth one, but of course it wasn't really that much. Well only about the ones she read. There might've been a million.
But nobody ever asked me
I never looked at you that way
'Cause I always thought you were gay
Kagome screamed into her pillow in frusteration that night, when she got another letter from him. Deciding to read this one, of course this would be the last one she would ever read, she was beginning to hate the post man.
Dear Kagome,
I have sent you many letters, and I can only hope that they prove to you how much you mean to me, I have spent the past two days in my room, so I could write a million or more letters explaining to you that I love you, and that you are the girl of my dreams. Your smile is the only one I see, your eyes are the only ones I want to get lost in, your hair is the only hair I want to smell. I want you, you comple -
Kagome ripped the letter in half after reading that much, he was crazy, beyond crazy!
'If he even thinks that I thought that he was that way, he is dillusenial. I told him that it was great to have a gay friend, then I hugged him! Hw was.. ugh! I don't know but, but he's that!'
You told me lies
You made me believe
The next day, while Kagome was walking to the library she found none other then Stalker Creep behind her. Wait, now he was beside her.
"Kagome, look at me, why won't you go on a date with me? What do you have to lose?" He asked, his hand on her shoulder.
You told me lies
You made me believe
" Well I don't know! You only lied to me, made me believe that you were something you apparantly aren't!" Kagome whispered harshly, as if she was forcing the words through her throat.
It would be fine
If there was nothing to see
I'd be undressing in front of you
" I changed infront of you! I-I-I let you see me naked! I allowed you to be there when I was changing a shirt, assuming that you were not in to that kind of thing! You told me!
" I never told you anything, you assumed. As you said yourself." He said to her back, a arrogant smirk on his lips.
" You let me assume! You jerk! Move!" She said trying to walk ahead of him.
"Kagome, wait!" He called, so she could hear.
I told you secrets that no one else knew
" No! I told you things! Things that I told you in cofidence, now I find out that I can't even trust you!" Kagome pushed him as hard as she could, which wasn't very hard and started to walk faster. She had to get away from him.
You could call me six times but still I won't pick up the phone
You could spend all your money on me
but still I'll say no
You could write a million letters everyday confessing to me
That I am the girl of your dreams
But nobody ever asked me
I never looked at you that way
'Cause I always thought you were gay
It had been weeks since their last encounter. Weeks that she was hoping to turn into months, then turn into years, then turn into decades and so forth.
All was going good until yesturday when he sent her some letters, again. He sent alot of letters. Then the day after that he sent her some very pricey jewellery.
Today, however, he called. What he wanted, she didn't know. She was not going to pick up the phone. No she wasn't. She listened all day as the phone rang. She sighed in contentment when it stopped.
Walking into the kitchen she called out to her mother, " Mom, what's for-" Kagome stopped when she saw that her mother was on the phone. No not good.
" Kagome dear, it seems this gentlemen on the phone has been trying to contact you all day, here, talk to him." She said, completely oblivious to Kagome's heated glare.
" Hello" Kagome said angerly, grabbing the phone from her mother and putting it to her ear.
"Kagome, it's been a couple of weeks, have you changed your mind?" A arrogant voice said through the phone.
She was going to give it to him!
" Listen and listen good! We've been over this, we were best friends, you lied to me, then stalked me, are you harrasing me now! I will not go out with you! Never! Questions?" She screamed into the phone.
" Yes. Why won't you go out with me? I am not unattractive." He said, and Kagome could almost see his stupid smirk as he said that.
" You are not unattractive you are right, but you not my type!"
"Why?"
" Ugh! Because I always thought you were gay!! Damn it Sesshomaru, I always thought you were gay, you can't just change that! Bye!" Kagome yelled into the phone then pushed the talk button with all her might, how she wished she could have slammed it down. Would have had much better effect.
Her retreats from him would always be lame. She could tell. Forgoing food, she walked up to her room and layed on the bed. Taking out the box of jewellry which she had yet to return to him, she stared at it. She was going to have to see him to give it back.
Damn.
