Darkness in the Heart by Fluffys_Little_Princess

Chapter One

A young girl was walking alone on the streets. Her face transfixed on the endless path before her. She had long flowing black hair and beautiful blue eyes that made her stand out. She was wearing a pair of blue jeans and a white blouse.

'I have to hurry or I'm going to be late,' she thought.

She picked up her pace until she was running. Then she stopped when she came to a large building. It had two wings and a main part.

'Thank god I made it in time,' she thought happily.

Then she walked inside of it. Taking calm strides until she made it to an office. She went inside and there was a woman there.

"Excuse me, My name's Kagome Higurashi. I'm here to pick up my schedule," she said.

"Ah Ms. Higurashi. We've been expecting you," said a woman.

She handed her a slip of paper with her classes on it.

"Just wait here and I'll send for someone to show you around," she said to her.

"Thank you," Kagome said bowing.

'What a polite girl,' she thought.

Kagome sat down on one of the office chairs and waited. After a few minutes past a young girl walked in.

She had long black hair that was put in a high ponytail and chocolate brown eyes. She was wearing a pair of blue jeans and a black happy bunny shirt that says "Cute, But Pyshco." with a bunny in a straight jacket that was smiling weirdly.

"Hey, are you Kagome Higurashi?" she asked.

"Yes, who are you?" she asked.

"The names Sango, Sango Taija. I'm your guide around school. Can I see your schedule?"

"Sure."

Kagome handed Sango the slip of paper. She read it and smiled. Then handed the paper back to Kagome.

"You're in luck, you have the same classes as me," she said.

Sango led Kagome out of the office and into the hallway. Halfway to the first wing Kagome bumped into someone.

"Hey watch it wench!" said a boy.

'White Hair!' she thought.
