Chapter 1 Meetings with an elf, endings with being yourself
Disclaimer: I own only what I buy with my own money.... Meaning I do not own Inuyasha or anyone of the characters, but I own Michi and Silica
Life is full of the unexpected. It takes us by the ankles and then slaps us in the face, it does just the opposite of what we expect. It can switch things around in a second, this story is about a miko and a taiyokai. Who got their lives switched.
"Inuyasha!" Kagome shouted, you could almost feel the anger boiling off of her. "Sit boy!" The enchanted beads around his neck began to glow before pulling him to the ground. After seeing her work was done, Kagome stormed off her fists clenched at her sides.
"Damn bitch...." Inuyasha muttered looking up at her trying to spit out some dirt. Since she didn't have demon hearing, she couldn't sit him again. Walking off into a field she sighed, it was almost winter and she hadn't brought the proper clothing.
So she stood there shivering in the cold, but to stubborn and angry to go back to the hut where Inuyasha was sure to be. Looking up at the sky she watched the sun setting, a crescent moon was beginning to appear.

(A/N I have lots a time on my hands....)
A few hour's earlier, on the borders of the Western Lands.....
A young elf, about the age of 215, making her appearance to be about 12 her hair was a light brown. It was the same color as the fluffy stuff in a three musketeers candy bar in fact. But of course no one had a clue what a three musketeers bar was....
(*Looks and sees people with pitchforks.* I don't own Three Musketeers!!!!!!!)
Tying her hair up in a high pony tail, her bangs fell into her face and some hair slipped out. But that didn't bother her in the least in fact she liked it that way. Even in a pony tail her longest strands of hair go past her back. For clothing she was wearing a green tank top that was about an inch to short on her stomach. But it was lose and that's what mattered to her, for bottoms she was wearing a skirt that seemed to be made out of leather, which went a little above her knees.
On the skirt was a belt that was also made out of some type of leather, swing around her legs was another belt like item that started at the hip then ended about five inches above the end of the skirt. It was attached to a little pouch resting on her hip.
Slung over her shoulder was a quiver of arrows, finely made by elves. In her hand she held a bow which was made of brass, then white designs had been carved into it. Truly something any archer would be jealous of. Perching itself on her free hand a bird which was completely blue gazed up into her green eyes.
"I know, Silica!" The elf child rolled her eyes at the bird. "I'm just saying, if we go and talk to him he's sure to listen." Giving a silly grin the bird cocked it's head as if trying to decide whether she was sane or not. "I'm sure Lord Sesshomaru will be happy to listen to me!" Rolling her eyes again she continued walking. "I don't understand why you're in your bird form, I mean gosh if he's really as cruel as you say don't you think he'd kill a bird faster then a child?"
Seeming shocked the bird called Silica flew up into a tree where a change began to happen. A swirl of color surrounded her as her wings turned into arms her whole body was growing bigger and bigger into the shape of an elf. She was much taller then the girl, appearing to be in her early twenty's making her a little older then Sesshomaru himself.
"Michi! As you're older sister I can't let you go through with this!" She said crossing her hand against her chest, which wasn't very covered, it was a green tank top with a collar the flew up around her neck but was left open. It made a half circle shape all the way down to her chest showing more then enough cleavage, while it ended right under the chest line.
For pants she was wearing a tight green skirt that covered only enough so that when she would bend down nothing would show. Stopping at the mid thigh appeared to be some type of socks, yes she looked very odd but beautiful. With her light green hair and gray eyes, her and her younger sister looked nothing alike.
Michi the younger elf just giggled at her sister. "Aw, look sis! The birds like you!" She said before skipping off, laughing as her sister tried to shoo away the three birds that had landed on her one was a white dove, the others where a sparrow and a green bird.
"Michi!" She called running after her. "Get back here right now!" Shouting the elf just turned and laughed even harder.
"No way, Silica!" Michi sped up even faster, to fast for the poor older elf. Turning her head to make sure Silica wasn't gaining ground she rammed into something hard, looking up very slowly she gasped. She had just run head first into Sesshomaru himself. His icy amber eyes glared down at her very slowly.
"I swear one of these days your going to get us...." Silica panted as she caught up with her, then saw the great taiyokai himself. "Killed...." Standing in awe of the yokai her first reaction was. 'Damn he's hotter then I thought' Her second reaction was. 'Damn, he's going to kill us.'
"Uhh, excuse us my' lord." Silica said deciding to drool later, if she was alive later. Giving a proper bow she nudged Michi to do the same. Ignoring her older sister's hint she matched the glance of the yokai.
"We have come to discuss an important matter." She told him sticking her chin out as if to challenge him to say no. Silica flinch at her sister's demanding tone, she was regretting ever agreeing to go.
Sesshomaru watched the two with interest, though his face remained icy. The older one, appeared to be wiser and respectful, while the younger one seemed to rush into situations. Her green eyes sparkled when she talked, their scents marked them as royalty from the Elvin world. "Elves live on the east." He stated before turning to leave. "This matter concerns me, not."
Michi gaped at him. "But, surely you know of cruelty of the ruler of the east?" She said trailing behind him, Silica noticing they were leaving scrambled up from her bow and grabbed Michi.
"Excuse her, my' lord." She said keeping her head low in respect. "But we fear the matter may soon concern you as well."
"I will deal with it when the time comes." Sesshomaru told them before walking in the direction of the castle.
"Hey!" Throwing her sister's hands off of her, Michi grabbed her bow and a arrow. "Take the stick out of your ass and listen!" She shouted before drawing an arrow and aiming it right next to his head. Letting it fly it came an inch away from him.
Silica watched her sister. "Baka! Who do you think he is?" She hissed glancing up she noticed Sesshomaru was gone. Looking at her sister she gasped and fell over. "Mi-Michi...."
"Elf, I do not need a child to tell me how to run my lands." His hand was constricted around her throat, she was losing her air fast. "Leave." His tone harsh and angry, she had her hands wrapped around his wrist in a defiant stare.
"You-you wouldn't kill me." Her voice was raspy, as she tried to make him loosen his grasp. "You wouldn't want to kill an elf princess. You'd start a war even you'd have a hard time winning." Silica cast a worried glance, was her sister really this stupid?
Narrowing his eyes he threw her into the nearest tree, then turned to Silica. "If you wish to remain in this forest unharmed, then turn and leave." With that he turned and left. Running over to her sister she gasped, the wounds weren't deadly but they had to hurt.
"Michi?" Silica pushed some her sisters bangs out of her face. Michi coughed a couple of times, before groaning and opening her eyes.
"I thought the ruler of the east was cruel..." Michi said with a small smile. Silica gasped and wanted to pound her sister on the head but refrained from it.
"We should get back home..." Silica said before picking her sister up bridal style. "You should've been more respectful." She scolded, Michi shook her head.
"What are we going to do, we need his help we only have a few weeks?" Michi looked up at her sister who looked up at the setting sun.
"Pray to the gods, a miracle comes." She closed her eyes before walking off with Michi the sun would be setting in awhile.

Back with Kagome, a bit before sunset....
"Inuyasha! The left eye!" Kagome shouted at him as an ogre attacked them. It had gotten hold of one of the jewel shards and put it where it's left eye should've been.
"Damn it, Kagome I know!" Inuyasha yelled at her before dodging a blow, then swinging the tessaiga like a baseball bat, he somehow managed to hit the monster straight in the eye. "Take that bastard!" He shouted in triumph, before Kagome picked up the tainted shard.
"How many shards are there?" Kagome murmured, Inuyasha was to busy celebrating another lucky victory to notice her. "Hey Inuyasha?" Kagome looked up at him.
"What is it now?" He asked seeming irritated. 'Great, what'd I do now?' Kagome wondered the looked at him.
"How many shards do you think are out there?" She asked, hoping not to get a snappy answer. He had been moody around her the past few days, and she didn't know why.
"I don't know. If you wouldn't have shattered it we wouldn't have to collect it." He said bitterly, Kagome gasped and stared at him.
"Inuyasha, how...how could you say that?" She asked not sure whether to be angry or hurt, he just huffed at her. "Inuyasha..." She was on the brink of tears, smelling them he turned back to say something until... "SIT BOY!" Kagome shouted, his jaw dropped before he hit the ground.
"What the hell was that for?" He asked jumping up obviously angry at her. Before she could say for being an insensitive jerk he put his hand up and sniffed the air. "Someone's here."
Michi had fallen asleep in Silica's arms now. Seeing the miko and half demon she stepped out of the forest. "Please, I do not have medical care for her..." She nearly begged, Inuyasha glared at her.
"So why should we help?" He huffed and crossed his arms but Kagome was already over there, looking her over.
Smiling brightly she nodded at Silica. "Nothing to serious, but I think we should take her back to my friends hut." Nodding they walked off to Kaede's hut.
"Thank you I am Silica daughter of the Elvin Lord Hatshi and this is my younger sister Michi. I'm afraid I don't know the name of such a gracious person." Silica would've bowed but Michi made it hard.
"I'm Kagome." She said and flashed another smile, since she didn't have a title like Silica. Pausing she processed her words. "Wait so you're a princess?" Her eyes were wide. Silica laughed at her response then nodded.
"I am, after my parents die I will take over. But I hope that doesn't happen soon." Silica smiled to herself. "I won't be able go on adventures with my little sister." As much as she hated to admit it, she loved going on these crazy adventures.
Kagome hesitated she didn't want to bother her with a question but she was curious. "If you don't mind my asking, what happened?" Silica's face clouded over at the thought of the taiyokai.
"We're fearing that a war will come between the eastern demon lord and the elves. Saiyoka the leader would go try and raid the west. We were coming to warn Lord Sesshomaru that if he didn't set up border guard his land would be raided." Silica said as they approached the hut. "He wouldn't listen and Michi shot an arrow past his head to get his attention. Which made him angry."
Looking at the sky she thought of Sesshomaru, that cold, heartless bastard. He has no feelings for anyone. "He needs compassion." Kagome said sadly, if only he and Inuyasha got along better, maybe he wouldn't be so heartless.
Nodding grimly she entered the hut, Michi blinked open her eyes. "Silica? Did we make it back home?" Sitting up she groaned, boy did her back hurt.
Kagome smiled at her and shook her head. "I'm going to help heal you." Silica nodded so that Michi didn't act up, nodding slowly she eyed Kagome.
"How much did Silk pay you?" Michi asked rather rudely, Silica rolled her eyes at the nickname then glared.
"Michi! Be polite, Kagome-sama is being gracious enough to treat you for FREE and here you go making rude comments." She said angrily, Kagome shook her head and took out the first aid kit.
"It's ok." Kagome flashed another smile then took out some pain killers and bandages. "Take these." Handing her some water and the pills she checked her wrist which was swelling a bit. Putting some herbs on it she then placed the bandages on. After about thirty minutes Michi was up and arguing with Silica about walking on her own.
"I'm fine! Kagome-chan made me feel fine!" She said rolling her eyes. Kagome looked at the two sisters.
"No, she said it was only temporary!" Silica argued with her sister. "You probably are to weak to transform!"
"I am not weak!" Michi shouted back at her, the sun was going to set in about two hours.
"Umm, you two should get going." Kagome said looking at the sky. "Unless you wish to stay the night." She offered, but Silica shook her head.
"We must be getting back now. Thank you Kagome-sama for helping us." Bowing formally she smiled. "I hope we meet again under better terms."
"Yea thanks." Michi said grinning and ignoring the bow from her sister. "See ya!" With that she transform into a small deer, that looked almost like a fawn.
"I didn't know elves could shape shift.." Kagome stared at her, Silica shook her head.
"We can't but it's a sign of being in the royal family of elves." She explained then bowed. "Thank you again." With that she changed into a bird.
Standing there speechless Kagome watched the two fly and run off, probably arguing again. Smiling she returned into the hut, only to be met by Inuyasha who was glaring at her.

Sunset with the elves
"Sesshomaru will pay!" Michi muttered ignoring the worried glances from her sister.
"Michi, we can't do anything about it." She said with a sigh hoping Michi wouldn't get some crazy idea.
Grinning evilly she took a book out of the shelf. "Sure we can, all we need to do is make sure Kagome chan and Sesshomaru are in the same area when I cast the spell." Giggled she opened the book.
"No!" Groaning she tried to snatched the book away but Michi dodged. "Remember what happened last time you tried using magic?"
Blushing furiously and pouting at the same time she just shook her head. "Nope, and you don't either!" Michi said remembering the two guards she had accidentally fused together. "I was just trying to help them get along!"
Rolling her eyes she shook her head. "So what if they argue? People do that! You didn't have to try and turn them into best friends!" Silica told her.
"This spell is much easier, all I have to do is transfer some of Kagome's graciousness into Sesshomaru! Then he can help us win the future war!" Smiling as strutted out of the room, thinking her plan was foolproof, she had no idea of the chaos she was about to cause.....
"Oh no..." Following her out of the room she shook her head. What was she going to do?
"Alright, how do we get the great pain in the ass to Kagome?" Michi asked smiling at her sisters horrified expression.
"Show some respect!" Silica hissed then sighed. "Since you obviously aren't going to be deterred then I guess you could always bring Kagome to him..."
"No better yet! We bring him to her!" Michi giggled then shot a look. "Don't tell mom or dad, we have work to do! Come on, I think I can master a teleporting spell..."

Back with Kagome to where the story started.....
Kagome sighed as she looked at the sky, the moon was beautiful. The crescent moon brought her thoughts to Sesshomaru she wasn't sure which was more beautiful. Him or the night sky. But he didn't care for anyone, well except for that one human.
But he had still never really shown compassion to anyone else. 'How can you be a good leader without compassion?' Kagome wondered how he could hurt a child. 'Whoa back up, why am I even thinking about him? He's a heartless bastard not worth thinking about...'
"Kagome!" A voice called out turning around she saw Sango approaching. Waving, Kagome waved back and was about to say something when she heard an icy voice speak.
"Humans, wasting their time as always." Turning around she gasped Sesshomaru was watching her, but why?
"What do you want?" Her voice held more confidence then she felt. An arrogant smirk crossed his face as he stepped towards her.
"Girl, you have information on the whereabouts of Naraku." He said taking another step towards her. Kagome knew he wanted to corner her into a tree, so she held her ground.
"No." She said simply not willing to let him win.
Opening his mouth he was cut off, by a giggled looking around he saw none other then Michi herself. "Sesshomaru, for being a cold heartless bastard you're going to learn the true meaning of compassion! From Kagome over here!" Another giggled, he was about to slice of her head, when she spoke again.
"From the darkest souls, we learn purify
From those who have never been shown compassion we learn to forgive
From the cold we learn to feel the heat
From the heartless we learn to love
So forgive a heartless demon
By using the compassion of a priestess
For only one of true purity can set his trapped emotions free"
A silver light surrounded Sesshomaru, while a light blue one surrounded Kagome. It felt like something was trying to escape from her body, like it was tugging on her. It was hurting her, Sesshomaru was going through the same thing. Unable to move or speak he watched the girl fall then he felt himself blackout.
The blue light surrounding Kagome charged into Sesshomaru while the silver light around him charged into Kagome. "Oops." Michi gasped this was bad....
Groaning Kagome sat up and looked around. 'Odd I could've sworn I was on that side of the field.' Shrugging it off she tried to stand before a strand of silver hair fell into her face, upon looking down she realized she was missing a major piece of being a woman. In fact instead there was a black plate of armor and her hands were clawed. "Oh kami what is going on?" In fact she realized she wasn't in her own body. "I'm in Sesshomaru's body?" After thinking that she fainted again.
"I'll kill that elf." Sesshomaru looked down to make sure she hadn't wounded him, only to find two large round things on his chest. "Kami, what are these?" He then noticed his hair was a the color of a raven. Instead of his amour and sword he was wearing some scrappy green and white clothing. "I'm in that human wrench's body?"
"Kagome!" His half brother called staring straight at him. This was defiantly bad.
Angel: Wow, I did it. I'm sorry if this sounds like another story. But I swear I was sitting in my bed and I got this crazy idea. First you see there was stuffed plushies involved but then for some reason I brought Michi into it because the plushie thing wasn't working out...

Sesshomaru: Girl, you made me into a girl. You will die for that.
Kagome: Hey, be glad she didn't switch you with Inuyasha that was her first idea
Inuyasha: Why would I want to switch with that bastard?
Angel: Anyway moving on if you want pictures of Michi and Silica I have them so I'll post those links in a second. But now to close the chapter.... I don't own the pictures either
Inuyasha: Thank God, why'd you start this fic when you just wrote you're other one.
Angel: I felt like it baka, Kagome I mean Sesshomaru do the honors and sit him for us.
Sesshomaru: I am not in that woman's body unless you're writing the fan fiction.
Kagome: Yea who'd want to be cranky pants over there?
Angel: Shut up both of you, you're going to fall in love by the end of this fic so shut it. Now for closing the chapter. If you are a nice person review because that's just awesome like that. It will get me more pumped to write more and more and more! Anyway thanks to all you please REVIEW, but no flames!!!
