Song, Don't talk to strangers is by Blind Guardian

Kagome looked behind her and blinked as she frowned, that man. She thought, he had been following her. He was tall with short black hair and ivory skin. She turned away and shook her head, she was imagining things. Suddenly he was in front of her.

~Cause they’re only there to do you harm

Don't write in starlight

Cause the words may come out real~

"Yes?" she asked quietly. His eyes. She thought, they where so strange. They where a piercing violet, the color was so sharp it was almost painful but it was impossible to look away. Kagome blinked, he looked to be her age.

"Yes excuse me," his voice was soft and alluring, Kagome blinked again trying to break eye contact. "I’m looking for the Higarashi shrine could you point me to it?" Kagomes eyes widened.

"Umm yes," she knew it was a bad idea but she couldn’t help herself. "Actually I’m on my way there right now." then she made another mistake, she just couldn’t stop herself. "I'm Kagome Higarashi." she held her hand out to the man.

"Hello. I’m Tsubasa." Kagome nodded and started to walk.

They chatted about small things on the way to the shrine and Kagome was starting to feel more and more at ease with him. She knew it was a bad thing but she couldn’t figure out why. She stopped at the stairs and started up them.

"Well this is it just up these stairs and we're there." then he grabbed her wrist. She stopped as her blood turned cold, she looked back casually.

"Actually, it was you I was looking for." he looked away in an almost bashful fashion.” I just wanted to talk to you, I wanted to be sure." he looked at her again and Kagome felt her breath leave her. His eyes shone strongly in direct sunlight, they almost gleamed like a cats would. Then he smiled and Kagome was lost, she could feel her face start to grow warm. "Let me take you out to dinner, tonight." Kagome just watched him.

"Ok." What am I saying?! She thought, but it was to late now. He grinned at her.

"Good, so until tonight." he looked at his watch. "Lets say at, 7:00." Kagome nodded, with that he bowed and strode off. Kagome turned from the street and fled up the stairs, she didn’t stop till she was half way in her front door. She felt so strange; she looked in the mirror across from her. She looked strange; her face was darker than normal.

"Kagome?" her mother called.

"Yes mama." she replied as she walked into the kitchen. Miss Higarashi looked at her and frowned.

"Are you ok?" she walked over to Kagome and put her hand on Kagomes head.

"I’m fine mama.” she said in exasperation. "I have a date tonight mama," she said quietly. Miss Higarashi smiled at her daughter and walked into the kitchen.

Kagome bustled around the house cleaning a bit; she just needed to stay busy. She was ready by the time 7:00 rolled around she was ready, more than ready she was ecstatic. Then on the stroke of 7 there was a knock on the door, Kagome straitened her short black skirt and shifted her lavender shirt. Then she answered the door.

There he was tall his black hair slicked back and his violet eyes shining; with him he had a dozen blood red roses. He bowed and handed them to her making her blush insanely. She timidly took them from him and beckoned him.

"Thank you." he said quietly as he stepped over the thresh-hold had Kagome not been staring at the flowers she would have seen a small evil smile.

"Mama!" Kagome shouted. "I need the big vase." her mother peeked out of the kitchen.

"Ok." she blinked at the flowers, "give me those and go get two tablets of Aspirin." Kagome raise an eyebrow at her mother but did as she was told.

When she came back her friend was still lingering in the hall looking at family photos. She smiled at him as she walked into the kitchen, she handed her mother the tablets. Miss Higarashi dropped them into warm water and stirred it around, as she did so she instructed Kagome to cut the ends off of the flower stems at an angle then put them in the water. Tsubasa watched her from the doorway. He grinned at her, perfect he thought.

Kagome looked back at him and smiled sweetly, she felt so strange she knew she shouldn’t associate with him but she couldn’t help it. When she was finished she walked over and he took her arm gently.

"Shall we?" he asked her sweetly. She nodded and he started lead her out.

"Ohh Kagome, when are you going to be home." Kagome looked at Tsubasa and frowned.

"I'll have her home by 8:30, Miss Higarashi." he looked at Kagome and smiled.

"Ok" her mother replied. Once they where out he smiled at her again as he led her down to his car. As the night progressed she came to like him more and more, despite her better judgment. He got her home on time and she smiled at her mother as she walked in the door.

"You had fun I take it." Kagome nodded, she almost said it was like heaven. He didn’t treat her like Inuyasha did but he wasn’t as dotting as Hojo. It was like he was perfect. Kagome walked into the kitchen and smell the flowers he gave her. They smelled so good they where like nothing she had ever smelled before. She deeply inhaled again and realized how tired she was. She yawned.

~Don't hide in doorways

You may find the key that opens up your soul

Don't go to heaven cause its really only hell

Don't smell the flowers

They're an evil drug to make you lose your mind~
