chapter 1

A jouney to the past

It was a beautiful day of summer.The sun was shining brightly through the little windows of the house as Kagome and her family were having breakfast.Kagome stands from the table and puts her plate into the sink.

-“ Kagome,dear,would you like some cookies ? I just made them. “ her mother asks her as she puts a plate with cookies on the table.

-“ No thanks mom. I really have to go ” Kagome responds as she picks her backpack.

-“ Well,that's good ! More cookies for me then ” Sota says grinning as he takes a cookie and shove it into his mouth.

-“ Souta ! ” her mother screams at the boy

-“ What ?! ” the boy responds as he looks at his mother with question

Kagome watched them and smiled ' Kami-sama , I missed you guys .. And with Naraku beeing so close to complete the jewel I don't think I'll come home again for at least one month.I'm sure Inuyasha won't let me.. '

-“Bye guys ! I'm leaving ! ” Kagome waved at her family as she rushed through the door and hit her grandfather on her way out knocking his broom out of his hands.

-“ Leaving so soon ? “ her grandfather asked as he bend for the broom.

-“Jiji-chan..amm..yeah..sorry..” Kagome said quickly.

- “Then you must have this..” (he handed her a little piece of cloth ) “ the legend says that..”

- “Ok , jiji-chan , thanks “( she took the piece of cloth and ran to the well ) “Bye ! See you soon !”

After Kagome left :

- (sigh ) “Kids this days have no interest of our country's history..”

A beautiful man with long silver hair was looking at the moon disappearing from the sky as the first rays of sun could be seen.In the soft breeze of the wind his golden eyes were searching the sky as he was trying to find the answers of his restless mind.

** flashback (p.s. This actually happened in the 3rd movie )**

-“ Do you desire power that badly ?” Inu-no-Taishou asked his beloved son as he was preparing to go to Izayoi.

- “ Why do you desire power ? ” he continued as his face was caressed by the rays of the moon .

-“My path is that of a conquere...Power is the role means by wich that path can be opened ” Sesshoumaru said coldly looking at his fathers back.

-“ The path of the conqueror,huh ? ... ( he asked as he saved a glance for his son.)

-” Sesshoumaru,...do you have something to protect ? ”

-“Something to protect ?..This Sesshoumaru has no need for such a thing ”

His father transformed and left him. “ I hope my son that one day you'll understand my words and you will forget your desire of power..Power is nothing if you don't have someone to love..”

** end of flashback**

Why would his father ask him such a thing ? …He,the great Lord Sesshomaru never felt the need to protect anything.There was nothing he would protect.Surely that human woman his father was seeing was the cause of all this distress his father was showing.He would think no more of this..But as he was preparing to depart..

Kagome is at the bottom of the well.

'That’s strange…where are the roots?Now how can I climb this stupid well?Maybe Inuyasha is here…'

-“ Inuyasha ! “ (No answer.)

'Oh,come on…he's just baka baka baka baka !…he promised he’ll be here…Oh, he’ll get what he deserves '

- “ Now just wait till I find you…” (she screamed)

After a few minutes she was finally out of the well.Now she was nervous.

-“You’ll be so dead after I’ll finish with you…” she was mumbling as she entered the small village.

-“That’s strange…Where’s Kaede-baba’s hut?”

She didn’t have enough time to think about it because soon she was surrounded by men.They were pointing their arows at her.A man from the crowd screamed:

-“She’s a youkai…Look what strange clothes she has”

-“Kill her!” another screamed

And all of the men were ready to shoot.Kagome couldn’t belive it…

- “Now w-w-wait…!I'm..”

But she had no time to speak as they began to attack her.She managed to escape and she ran to the mountains.After some good minutes of running she was too tired to run anymore.Her heart was beatting fast in her chest and her lungs were hurting.She looked behind her as the villagers were drawing near.She was now cornered.Behind her was the sky …it was the end…She had no place to run anymore.She just closed her eyes expecting to die.

'Souta, mom , jiji-chan..Inuyasha..Sango..Miroku..Shippo...I'm sorry guys.. '

Just then a arrow flew by her head and in her fright she made one last step and she fell over the cliff.
