the magic of Kagome Ino Sakura Higurashi by Any-Yasha

chapter 1

She couldn't believe it. Right in front of her stood the majestic form of all time.

The creature was about two football fields in length and taller then the tallest trees. Its shiny scales glinted of a silver-color highlight as the moonbeams of Lady Moon fell upon the great creature. Its ebony scales and leather wings looked soft yet she knew the frail skin was tougher then a mountain if hit. It had large blue slits for pupils and green eyes. It looked as regal as a king or lord and looked to be of a higher class then most of its clan. It had a set of jewels at its feet and it looked at her expectantly as if it was waiting for her to do something.

Finally over what seemed eternity of staring at each other she decided it would be best if she left. As she turned around its tail decided to left up and curl around her, and in the process making her almost face to face with the large creature in front of her.

'Where do you think your going?' a voice in her head asked. Thinking she was going crazy, she decided to ignore the voice.

'Don't you dare ignore me?' the voice bombarded or commanded suddenly. She decided to finally speak. She had finally realized that the creature was the voice inside her mind.

'Who are you? What are you? How is it you came here?' She wanted to ask more questions but couldn't in the life of her ask them.

"I' am Kumara of the Black Sun Land. I' am a black dragon. I live in these lands and the true question is how you came here? No mortal has ever stepped foot in our lands so how did you, Kagome Ino Sakura Higurashi, come here?" the 'dragon' answered/questioned.

Ino was at lost at what to do.

She had never known about the Black Sun Land, and if she did, she had not paid attention. But not paying attention was not possible. She had always prided herself on staying on task, since before and now after her parent's death. This had taken a massive part of her away. And now living the school of magic teachings and warrior training helped take some of the pain away.

The dragon snapped her back to earth when she, the voice in her head sounded feminine and so guessed the dragon was female, rubbed her gigantic head on the side of her head.

She stretched out her arms as if trying to hug the dragon. Kumara's tail had now loosened to the point that she could move freely and if she tucked in her belly enough then she could slip out of the dragon tail's grip.

"You never answered my question." As to not frighten the young girl in her tail, the dragon stated it softly.

"I do not know how I came here? I felt no magic around this place when I walked in." muttered Ino sleepily.

"Oh! Alright."The dragon stated this in a melodic voice as to make the girl fall asleep faster.

Her tail that was once near ground level, descended to the sky and gently laid the sleeping girl on her back. Her wings allowed the girl to sleep without the consent hear of awakening by falling into the ground.

Soon Kumara soon drew back her wings, put strength on her hind legs and in a few moments was soaring in the sky.
