A Job Starts It All by Sesshomaru&Kagome

The Job and The Club

Today was the day, Kagome Higurashi would finally start her new job, okay so maybe that isn't true, but today she was excited about her interview for her new job. She heard that the owner of Tashio Inc, which is a major CD company, needed a new secretary, and she was hoping that she could fill the spot. Kagome walked up to the gold colored double doors to the office building. She opened the doors on the inside everything was made of black marble, stylish and comfortable for all the workers, and she saw that there wasn't anyone inside, yet the door was open, so she decided to head for the 50th floor. On her way there she saw a man drop some CDs and one of them slid by her foot.

Sesshomaru Taisho, the owner of Taisho Inc. was in one of the many rooms where they had CDs for many of the different music artists that had contracts with them. He was the only one in the whole building today and he left the main doors open. He was putting some new albums into their slots that were just made when you glanced up and saw a young woman walking buy, at that moment he dropped some CDs and one slid by her foot.

"Miss could you hand me that," Sesshomaru asked.

"Sure," Kagome answered and stopped to help the gorgeous man gather the CDs that he dropped, before she would continue to go up to the 50th floor.

"Thank you," he replied as Kagome handed him the CDs.

And she responded with a "your welcome."

"Um....do you know if Mr. Tashio is in his office?" she asked to make sure it wasn't a waste of time going all the way up there if he wasn't there.

"No he isn't in there, because I am him, what may I help you with?" Sesshomaru asked.

Kagome blushed especially after finding out that the man that she might end up working for is so hot, "Oh....um.....I'm here for an appointment for an interview with you......uh....may I ask why your not in your office?"

"Yes, I'm the only person here, so I'm just making sure I add the new recorded CDs to the shelf, so that tomorrow my employees will make the copies for them to be sold," he answered her while continuing what he was doing.

Kags: "Oh...so why is my appointment today?"

Sess: "Well today would have been a regular work day but I just let go of about 15 of my employees and so I forgot to cancel whatever appointments I had for today."

Kags: "Ok well I heard you needed a secretary...."

Sess: "Yes I do."

Kags: "Well first my name is Kagome Higurashi and I came by to be interviewed for that job."

Sesshomaru stopped to look at her and then he asked, "Hmm....how fast can you type?"

Kags: "About 80 words per minute."

Sess: "OK that's a little slower than my last secretary but.....your hired."

Kags: "Really? You mean that's all you need to know because you didn't look at my resume or anything."

Sess: "Yes, that's what you'll be doing most of the time anyway."

"Oh thank you," Kagome said excitedly and without thinking about what she was doing, she hugged him. Sesshomaru was surprised to say the least, as she hugged him his eyes widened but he quickly got control of himself.

"Can you start tomorrow?" he asked her while she still hugged him.

When he spoke once again Kagome realized what she was doing and stopped hugging him and stepped back. She was looking down as she was blushing and muttered a sorry, if he wasn't a demon, Sesshomaru might not have heard her. Then she answered his question, "Yea sure...and uh....sorry again."

"Its ok," Sessho said.

Kags: "Ok well I'll...ah.....see you tomorrow Mr. Tashio."

"Call me Sesshomaru," he said to her as she was about to leave.

Kagome blushes once more and says, "Ok....Sesshomaru see you tomorrow."

"Ok," he replied.

Kagome then waves good bye and leaves. Once out of the building she decided to go to a nearby club that her best friend, Inuyasha owns, which is called Hot Nights. There she put her stuff in the VIP lounge with her other friends things.

Later after Sesshomaru was finished from the office he went to Hot Nights as one of his friends that was there was the DJ and took over for his friend for the rest of the night. When it was close to midnight someone caught his eye as he saw Kagome sitting with his brother and some of his friends. Then he noticed she looked up so he looked back down to avoid making eye contact.

So later into the night Kagome is sitting at a table hanging out and talking with her best friends Sango, Miroku, Ayame, Koga, Inuyasha and Kikyo, her cousin. While they were talking she looked up as she thought that she sensed someone looking at her, but she didn't see anyone so she continued talking to them again.

While there was music playing Sesshomaru got a waiter and told him to send over some drinks to Kagome's table and that it would be on the house and to make sure they don't know who sent it.

So meanwhile everyone wants more sodas when a waiter happens to come with refills for their drinks and tells them its on the house even though he knew his boss would get ticked off.

Obviously as predicted Inuyasha was angry and says, "of course its on the house I own the fucking club so what the hell did you mean?"

Kik: "Inuyasha sweetie calm down."

Mir: "Maybe someone sent us the drinks anyway because they didn't know you were the owner and they probably wanted to get Kagome's attention."

Kags: "Why my attention?"

Aya: "I honestly think that's crazy but then again Miroku has a point, you are the only one here in our group that's single that's why he said you."

"Well whatever," and then Kagome continued drinking her coke.

That's when Sesshomaru put on dance, dance by fallout boys (A/N: Not sure if that's how you spell their name but work with me.) so the girls all wanted to dance but Kagome even though she wanted to as well, and Inuyasha would dance with her and Kikyo, also Kikyo wouldn't mind, decided not too and so everyone else hit the dance floor and she sat there alone watching them.

Soon enough Sesshomaru's friend came back and so he went and sat down by Kagome waiting to see if she would notice him. And as he thought she did, Kagome noticed that someone came and sat down right beside her.

"Oh hi Sesshomaru," she said.

"Hi, so I saw InuYasha got a bit ticked off," Sesshomaru said as if it was obvious that they were related.

"Oh....uh....you know Inuyasha?" Kagome asked surprised.

Sess: "Yes, he's my half brother."

"What!?" she said as she blinked a few times in disbelief.

Kags: "Are you serious?"

Sess: "Why would I lie about being related to that annoying half breed?"

Just as he said that the music was over and everyone came back to the table and once again Inuyasha was pissed off.

"Sesshomaru? What the fuck are you doing here?" he yelled outraged at seeing his brother.

Sess: "Calm down I came here to help Bankotsu."

Inu: "He's a DJ is one and two its his fucking job not yours. So tell me again what the fuck are you doing here?"

"You know what little brother, I don't need to put up with you so I'm leaving, have fun," Sesshomaru says as he's leaving, then he stops and looks over his shoulder at Kagome, "have a goodnight Kagome and see you tomorrow," and with that Sesshomaru left.
