Dirty Little Secrets

"Wait. We shouldn't -," Kagome said breathlessly.

"Shouldn't what?" Sesshoumaru said as he continued kissing Kagome. He recaptured her lips before she could answer.

Kagome Higurashi, super intelligent student and long time goody two shoes found herself in a situation she couldn't get out of. Here she was, alone in the house with her boyfriend's older brother.

Here she was locked in Sesshoumaru's room, making out with him, knowing where it was going to lead them.

She felt her white blouse slide down her skin as he removed it slowly. Sesshoumaru trailed kisses across her skin, following the path of the shirt. Kagome felt herself whimpering softly as he nipped at her skin, the slight pain exquisite. He returned to those lips he loved to kiss.

He pulled her tight to his body, molding their forms together. Kagome's hands slid under his black t-shirt, feeling the taunt muscles and shivered. 'Don't' her mind kept chanting. But she didn't listen.

The t-shirt joined her clothing in the growing pile. Kagome cried out as the claws lightly scraped at her nipples as he unclasped her bra.

Soon his tongue was replacing the hand, teasing Kagome with his skill. "Please," Kagome arched against him.

He liked her best like this, begging. He stepped away from her, thrilled with how she instantly blushed. "But you don't love me Kagome."

Kagome covered her breasts both embarrassed and aroused. The way he looked at her, like he could devour her kept her shivering. Her body ached for his touch, when she knew she shouldn't. "You don't love me," she said finally.

Sesshoumaru unbuttoned his jeans but left the zipper alone. Desire coursed through him and his inner beast demanded he take her now. His rational self won out this time. He waited for her to decide.

Kagome's body betrayed her. She was already fingering her secret place in anticipation of him. "Take me, take me right now."

Sesshoumaru smiled slowly. Now that was what he liked to hear.

5 Years Later

Kagome Higurashi, successful businesswoman and all around good girl, entered the five bedroom house she shared with her now fiancé Inuyasha. She was tired after such a long day at work, but was still very cheerful.

It was her anniversary. Seven wonderful years of dating Inuyasha she endured. He was young, carefree, had his own small business. He was handsome and muscular, with that rash arrogance that had girls noticing him.

Kagome considered herself very lucky to have him in her life. They were a good couple together everyone said.

'I'd better start dinner.'

Kagome had the whole evening planned, candlelight dinner, soft music, a bath, and quite possibly desert. Sure sex wasn't like it used to be, but Kagome had responsibilities, she often had to wake early. Sex wasn't everything. But she sometimes missed it.

She didn't let it bother her. She had to get to work.

~*~

Six o'clock and Inuyasha still wasn't home. Then seven, eight, and by nine Kagome had drunk a whole bottle of wine, tossed out the cold special dinner, and still no sign of Inuyasha.

She checked the answering machine, her mobile, she called his office; he wasn't there. Finally she gave in. She took a bath by herself, slipped into a comfortable t-shirt and shorts and fell into bed.

She awoke the next morning with a terrible headache and almost no recollection of what had happened the night before. Inuyasha still had not arrived.

She called in sick, too depressed to go to work. She fell asleep again because staying awake was too much agony.

Inuyasha came strolling in that afternoon. Kagome said nothing for fear of letting out anger. She was in the kitchen making tea, the first place Inuyasha usually went to.

"I thought you had to work?" he asked curiously.

"What was yesterday?" she ignored his question to ask one of her own.

"Tuesday?"

Kagome's lips tightened. Of course he would forget. Inuyasha never remembered their anniversary on his own and she wondered what she would do when they were finally married. Forget about that special day? She didn't think so.

But his secretary should have told him. Kagome had constantly reminded the secretary to remind Inuyasha about the anniversary, so he should not have forgotten. He should have gotten the message.

"Try again. What was the date?"

Inuyasha shrugged his shoulders, "Why does it matter anyway? A day's a day."

Kagome felt her anger rising. "Inuyasha yesterday happened to be our anniversary. And you call that just another day?" She finally screamed out at him not caring if anyone heard her. Everyone should hear.

"Oh Kagome I'm so sorry. I was working late last night and it completely slipped my mind. You have to believe me."

She didn't believe him. She called the office numerous times and he had not answered, but she didn't say anything. She couldn't say anything.

Sesshoumaru fuck me. Harder, harder.

If Inuyasha was having an affair then she didn't want to know the truth of it. As long as she had his love she was sure that she could be happy.

"I wasn't feeling well anyway, so I called into work sick," said Kagome lamely. She hated not being able to speak her mind. Her own guilt kept her from talking to Inuyasha about his behavior toward her.

He was still a wonderful person, a great catch. She had yet to meet someone to catch her heart the way that Inuyasha had. He was her partner in every way. They were great together, the best couple around.

Kagome helped him start his business, before getting the current job she got. As much as she loved her boyfriend she was not going to allow herself to live off his money. She had to be his equal if they were going to be together.

"Hey how about I make things up to you today?" Inuyasha said. "We'll go to dinner or something."

"Forget about it. I'm really not feeling well. I think I just want to stay in. Besides I have work that I have to do anyway. The company merger negotiations are still going strong and I have to get that wrapped up."

"Are they going to give you that promotion?"

Kagome shrugged. She certainly hoped so. Junior executive was her position now. If things went right, she could end up on the board as a full executive. Her pay would at least triple, placing her close to Inuyasha's salary.

She would be able to attend important functions, anything that she wanted. She was working her butt off to get that position. "They haven't made a decision yet, but I think that I'm in the top running."

Inuyasha really didn't want Kagome to get the position. No woman of his was going to making the same money that he was making. And what was more; she was going to have a higher status.

Takeshi International was one of the biggest companies, much bigger than his own. Kagome getting the job there was not his happiest moment. He really wanted Kagome to keep that secretarial position she had. It kept her near him at every moment.

Now that the company was merging with Tai Corporation it was going to be that much more powerful, maybe competition for Spider Inc.

What many people didn't know was that Tai Corporation was part of Youkai Enterprises run by Inuyasha's brother Sesshoumaru. That put Kagome in pretty close proximity with Sesshoumaru and that meant that Inuyasha was going to have to deal with his brother.

Inuyasha hated his brother more than anyone. The very mention of Sesshoumaru upset Inuyasha. Once Sesshoumaru had designs on Kagome, or so Inuyasha thought. They were pretty buddy, buddy growing up.

Because Sesshoumaru talked to Kagome meant that he wanted her in Inuyasha's mind and though he was in fact cheating, he couldn't allow his fiancé to know that and leave him. He wanted her too much.

First he had to be able to convince that she didn't want the job at Takeshi. But every time he brought that subject up, Kagome laughed at him and said that she was happy in this job.

"I'm not talking to Sesshoumaru," Inuyasha said suddenly.

"What are you talking about," said Kagome as she finished washing the dishes and were drying them.

"Nothing."

Kagome had heard the words and rolled her eyes. "You know your brother isn't so bad."

"Yeah you two were oh so close."

Kagome stiffened. "He was my friend. And you should quit being jealous. Sesshoumaru never tried to date me. We weren't interested in each other like that. Besides I love you."

"Feh." It was always the same. Inuyasha was so clueless.

"I never complain about how close you are with Kikyou. So you have no right to complain about me and Sesshoumaru."

"He kissed you."

"It was Christmas. We were under the mistletoe and it was only a peck." 'Of course what happened later can't be said out loud.'

But no matter what Inuyasha thought, Sesshoumaru was not the problem. Kagome did not love him; she loved Inuyasha and was marrying Inuyasha because of that love. That she was a friend to Sesshoumaru was something different.

They didn't talk anymore. He lived his own life and she lived her own. Inuyasha seemed to be the constant thorn in their friendship. His constant jealously finally made Sesshoumaru decide to stop talking to Kagome and that hurt.

She was still upset with Inuyasha about that. He always had a real bad habit of ruining whatever happiness she tried to gain.
