Chapter one: Family Reunion

Kagome was walking to the old well in the Inuyasha forest Inuyasha was finally letting her go home and rest for a little while. Kagome was thinking of all the fun she could have at home 'maybe I'll go out with Hojo again or maybe go to the mall with Eri who knows I just know I won't have to search for jewel shards for a week and it's summer brake'

"Kagome why are you leaving me don't you like me?"

"Shippo of course I like you your like a pup to me I know how would you like to come with me?"

"really you mean it?"

"of course now hold on to me tight al right"

"okay"

Kagome jumped down the well with Shippo in her arms, with the normal blue light Kagome and Shippo made it to the future, Kagome climbed out of the well and left the well house Shippo held on for dear life when he smelled at the scents.

Kagome walked into the house she went to the kitchen hoping to find her mother and have her meet Shippo but she wasn't there walking to the family room she saw her mother talking to someone Kagome didn't know setting Shippo down and telling him to stay and be quiet Kagome walked into the room.

"Mother what's going on?"

"Oh Kagome I was hoping you'd come home soon, I want you to meet your cousin I think your going to remember his name Kagome meet Miroku"

"Miroku?"

"yes well I was named after ancestor that live in the Sengoku Jidai"

"yes he was a monk, right?"

"yes I see you know of our ancestors, but that's not why I'm here"

"oh why are you cousin?" Kagome asked

"I've been in contact with other members of our family and they fell it too there is a powerful youkai walking around Tokyo and we all felt that since you and your Okaasan are the most powerful miko's we've got in the family that you should start trying to find this youkai and find out what it wants"

"hold it back it up, there are youkai alive now in this time?"

"Kagome your acting very odd are you not feeling well?"

"AAAAAHHHHH KAGOME_OKAASAN HELP!"

"what was that your not an Okaasan are you Kagome?"

"Oh no Shippo"

Kagome turned on her heels and ran from the room back into the kitchen where she saw buyo Playing with Shippo's tail Kagome laughed then picked up Shippo and started to pet the affined appendage.

"Kagome look out it's a youkai!" cried Kagome cousin Miroku

"clam down he won't hurt you he's only a kit"

"but it's a youkai kitsune they tricky they are"

"yeah this little guy has done his share of tricks but no more then I of Sango"

"Sango, you really do know you family, but we can talk about that later right now we need to take this youkai to the center"

"center?"

"hasn't your mother told you anything about the family?"

"Mother what is he talking about?"

"well you see dear our family comes from a line of monks, miko's and even taijiya and we are paid by the country to make sure all the youkai at taken care of and that none of the 'normal' humans know they are here"

"wait a second , this ancestor you were named after was he rumored to have a hole in his hand and very hentai?"

"yes actually from journals we have from our ancestors friend he was known to be very lecherous"

"who'd he marry?"

"a taijiya that went by the name of Sango"

"why do we have the friends journals not theirs?"

"from what we can tell they were not able to write because they were looking for the Shikon no tama"

Letting all this sink into her head Kagome did the one thing no one thought she'd ever do she swore for the first time.

"Kuso!"

"Kagome!"

"Gomen but I have to go now"

"wait Kagome we need to take that youkai!"

"no you can't have him, why did my family have to hurt youkai there not bad at all there's a few of them but some wouldn't even hurt a bug"

"Kagome you don't know what your talking about you've never been around a youkai to know who they are"

Kagome wasn't listening to him and she ran out of the house she was going to the well house when someone stopped her. Looking up Kagome would have fainted if she knew that her so called cousin wasn't behind her.

"what are you doing here and how'd you get here?"

"I live in this time too Kagome, but there is a reason I'm here, though now is not the time to discuses it stand behind me Kagome"

Kagome didn't know why she listened to him but she did it felt kind of weird standing on shrine grounds behind Sesshomaru but then again she did just find out that her best friend was family as well as a lecherous monk. ' that means that not only did Naraku kill Sango's family but mine as well and that mean's he cursed my family damn him Naraku8 your going to pay' Kagome thought

"Kagome come out from behind that man your boyfriend can't save that thing"

"he's not a thing he's my son!"

"come off it Kagome it's not human!"

"neither am I" said Sesshomaru returning to his humanoid demonic form.

" no it's the powerful demon Kagome kill it before it kill us al!"

"I'll do nothing of the kind lord Sesshomaru deserves to live just as much as you"

"lord Sesshomaru of the western lands?"

"yes now tell me human why I should not kill you for trying to hurt my pup"

'his pup who is he calling his pup?' Kagome thought

"that is my cousin and we have a job to do in tis world and your in the way now if you don't want to have a prayer scroll on your forehead then you better give up now"

Sesshomaru growled at the human but did not move. Taking a deep breath Kagome's cousin Miroku through a prayer scroll at Sesshomaru who moved fast enough so not the be hit by it but sadly it landed on little Shippo freezing him.

"NO! SHIPPO!" Kagome cried

"you have better not have hurt my pup human or you will be nothing but something flying in the wind" Sesshomaru growled.

Shippo: how's come I got hit?

Lady Ky: Gomen shippo but I needed something to end the chappie with and I couldn't make Sesshomaru to slow

Ky's muse: you mine I needed something now all be quite while I tell everyone something

All: yeah yeah

Ky's muse: now tell ky what you think of this story if its good I'll make her update it if it's not she do what ever with it ,so you see that review thing down there use it.

Lady Ky: man my muse is pushy

Sesshomaru: I see why you can't headaches a lot Ky

Lady Ky: thanks sesshy now may I pet your tail

Sesshomaru: very well just don't pull it again

Lady ky walks over and pets sesshy's tail while everyone sweat drops and walks off stage saying something about review so she cant do that cause she needs to type.
