True feelings

Ok here's the second installment of Love of my life, this is longer like I promised and has a bit more things added (like more characters talking).

... Kagome looked longingly into Sessshomarus eyes as he looked into hers, it seemed to be an eternity she didn't want it to end, and they both started moving closer to each other, just as their lips were about to meet she heard him say "Miss Higarashi" in an annoyed tone of voice, "what?" she said looking puzzled, "Miss Hiagarashi!" Sesshomaru said more aggressively. Just like that Kagome snapped out of her daydream "MISS HIGARASHI!"

Her professor was yelling very angrily now because he had to call her name so many times. Kagome then immediately stood up in front of her snickering classmates and politely asked "yes?" "What is the answer to this equation?" he said impatiently. "Umm I don't know professor" Kagome said after she read the complicated math equation on the board. "Well if you were listening and not daydreaming about frivolous things you would know the answer is 3752.975" Professor Utaru stated just as Kagome sat down blushing so much that the people in the back of the classroom could see. "Kagome you usually know all the answers what's wrong? Is something bothering you?" Inuyasha asked not even knowing Kagome saw him and Kikyo at the café the other day. "Nothing, nothing" Kagome lied "I'm just preoccupied with exams coming up soon" she was telling a half truth she was worried about exams but she was more concerned if her plan would go off with a hitch or just fall apart.

As the bell went off everyone started to leave Sango walked up to Kagome "So how are you going to talk to Sesshomaru?" Sango asked with a smile "SHHH! Inuyasha will hear!" Kagome whispered hysterically. "Sorry, but how are you going to?" Sango whispered "I don't know yet I'll have to wait for just the right moment" Kagome whispered back, Just as if on cue Inuyasha walked over "hey Sango" he quickly said "um Kagome can you come over and help me cram for the math and science exams I'm going to fail if you don't" "I don't know" Kagome said jumping up and down in her imagination, "Please" he begged "I guess" "that's great! Lets go!" and at that he ran out with Kagome following behind him "bye Sango" she quickly said. "I'll get you back now Inuyasha" Kagome thought. As they reached the parking lot they both went different ways they both then turned around and said "aren't we taking my car?" they both said to each other "well I'll take mine and head to your house and you go pick up some snacks and stuff okay?" Kagome suggested "ya fine sounds alright I'll meet you there, oh but watch out for my brother you know him always a dick" Inuyasha said while walking away to his car, as Inuyasha said that Kagome had another dirty thought. "No, no, that won't happen he'll just be getting Inuyasha back!" Kagome said to herself. Kagome then got into her car and drove quite quickly to Inuyasha's house.

She looked in the driveway and saw Sesshomaru's El Camino "good he's home" she said to herself with a grin, she got out of her car and walked to the door and was about to open it when all of a sudden it was jerked open by none other that Sesshomaru "and what do you want, the runt isn't here right now" he said with a sour expression on his face. "I know, I'm here to help him with his cramming, and I know he'll be here shortly so please move" she pushed past him and walked in, Kagome then peered out the window to make sure Inuyasha wasn't there yet "and... I have a favor to ask of you" "oh, and what would that be?" Sesshomaru said like he was totally and utterly bored with the conversation. "Well I'd like you to...to..." Kagome tried to say "spit it out" "I'd like you to pretend to be my boyfriend" Kagome quickly said, "you what?" Sesshomaru said laughing "and why would I do that?" Kagome explained at the café. "And that's why I need you to pretend to be my boyfriend" "and what exactly would I gain from this?" "You'd get to hold it over your brothers' head and taunt him" "interesting, I guess I could help you with this charade" Sesshomaru said smiling "ok so were all agreed to do this?" "Yes, yes, but what exactly do I have to do?" "Sit there, be pretty, and act like you're in love with me" "if I get to taunt Inuyasha I can do anything". "This could be a very, very interesting" Sesshomaru thought to himself. "Yay my plan is beginning to work, this is going to be perfect, unless I start to fall in love with him!" there was a long silence, only when Sesshomaru got up to leave "wait" "what?" "Well aren't you going to stay?" Kagome asked "I'm going to my room" "why?" "Do I need to answer that question?" "No..." and Kagome retreated from asking more questions.

At that Sesshomaru left, he went in his room laid on his bed, put on some music, and started thinking "how could I let myself do this?" "Because you secretly love her dumb ass" "who said that!?" Sesshomaru asked, "me, your inner most feelings" "I have no inner most feelings" and with that Sesshomaru fell asleep. Back downstairs Kagome was unpacking her books, just as Inuyasha pulled up in the driveway. "My plan is falling into place piece by piece" Kagome thought to herself, not caring about anything else...at the moment.
