Incavement by Tippsiedemoness

Chapter 1

In the dead of the night a lone cry was heard. Pounding feet agaist the grassy landscape swaying back and forth to dodge the swings of a dark creature. Kagome had only wished to be alone to feel the peacefull night full of fire flies. It started out as a good day Inuyasha and the group had found the location of Naraku's heart. They had found a way to distract Naraku with Kikyo's help. Kikyo at first didn't want to help but after she listened to Inuyasha. With a promise of going with Kikyo to hell only then would she agree.

Kagome did seem to mind but didn't show it. All she wanted now was to get the quest over with. She had been with her friends now for over five years. Ever since that first day she fell in the well she has crossed time to visit her family and to go to school. Now out of college she has a very good job wating for her so she just wanted to get the quest over with so she could start her life. After Inuyasha agreed with Kikyo's demands Kagome felt her self go numb on the account of her feelings on Inuyasha. It was as if he told her he no longer cared and just wished as everyone else to take down Naraku.

In the last 3 yrs of hunting Naraku down he wiped away so many vilages and towns of both Youkai and Human. No one was safe as long as he still lived. This week they came across a cave while raining out side they took shelter in the cave that night. Kagome not being able to sleep decide to see if there was a pool of water near. Getting out of her sleeping bag she laid Shippo back on it then took to the end of the cave. The cave wasn't very big but as she got towards the dark end she seen two paths. She took the right something was telling her to go there. Kagome walked for about 10 mins, about ready to give up she heard a laugh.

Getting scared she dove behind a rock to her right, As she peeked over the rocks edge she couldn't believe what she saw. The cave expanded, becoming a hole other world. Keeping out of sight she saw creatures walking in the shadows. Partly in the shadows her self she remain hiden. Kagome could hear the creatures talking, but couldn't understand what it was saying. Out of all the shadowed men stood a tall man. He could be about just a little bit bigger than Inuyasha, Hiden in the dark Kagome couldn't get a real good glimps at him.

Kagome also heard a bussing sound like the bees Naraku had. 'Could it be that I found out were the location of Naraku is? Or have they been following us staying behind only to not get noticed? Is Naraku really that smart?' Kagome thought to herself on it. A little girls laugh brough her out of thinking. It seemed to come from the other side of the cave. The mouth of the cave had a shallow path way to the other side the leading down in the main section of the cave. On the other side of the cave another opening was seen. Kagome keeping low to the ground crawled over to the opening. She almost feel off the cave path from what she seen. Sesshoumaru and his group was there the little girl she heard was part of Sesshoumaru's group. Rin is what she was called. Being covered up by the darkness she cralwed over to another rock and hid herself.

Watching the group; she had seen Rin running in out of the waves from a lake not to far from her. Rin seemed to be enjoying herself untill Sesshoumaru told her it was time to sleep. Noticing it was getting late she decided to head back so coming back the was she came she went back. When she go to the two opening she decied to go left this time finding a small path leading down to the lake she bent her head down and to a few seps taking in her fill. Now being now thirsty she headed back. She crawled back into her bag. Being tired she went to sleep with images of Naraku being defetted.

Before the sun came up the tall man watch the moon in the distance. THe man stood at the back of the cave where the opening aloud him to see over the land that lay before him. Rin awoke when a firefly landed on her nose. Swatting at the firefly Rin couldn't go back to sleep. Rin got up from the cave floor. Being hungry she went in search of food. Rin herd a noise behind her and when she looked up all went black.

Feeling a chilling air Kagome looked around her to find her self no longer in the place where she fell asleep. When Kagome got up to look around her she noticed that she was back into the main part of the cave and not far from her lay a sleeping Rin. Kagome ran over to Rin and tryed to wake her up. Kagome felt a whisper of wind at her ear and turned around only to find nothing there. Getting a little scared she tryed agin to wake Rin up. A light mist of rain fell from the sky when Kagome looked up she wished she hadn't in the sky lay a bloody moon. The moon's rays showed the creatures that she had seem earlier.
