He hath fallen

Denied the light

Which was so graciously offered

He walks amongst the shadows

A place where light dare not come

Carved from porcelain

Adorned with silver silk and frozen suns

His elegance and beauty

Words cannot define

We watch in awe

For he is the eighth wonder of the world

Some say he is the devil

Whom masquerades as an angel

But that cannot be

For he transcends the boundaries of good and evil

Untouched by sin

For only mortals sin

He surpasses our comprehension

Unbound by time or death

He is sentenced to an eternity of life

He is no mere mortal

Too perfect to be an angel

Too blood stained and cruel to be a devil

Too beautiful to be a human

He is a god

Not word

Nor sound

Made by beast or man

Can describe him

We follow him blindly

To the ends of the earth

So close he is

Yet we dare not touch
