Kagome groaned as an annoying beeping sound filled her head. Gruffly, she smacked the alarm clock into oblivion, but it kept on beeping. She growled and picked it up to throw it. Just as she was about to smash her new alarm clock, she glanced up to see her mother standing in 'the' stance. Hitomi Higurashi stood with her hands on her hips, leaning on one leg as the other rested, and she was giving the "you are pathetic" look to her daughter.

"Kagome, do you really want a new one already? That is the fifth alarm clock you have had this month! Will you stop smashing them????" her mother looked flustered.

Kagome yawned. "Sorry mom...wait... Mom? It worked!! OMG! IT worked!!!" Kagome screamed excitedly and jumped out of bed. She tramped across the room and hugged her mother tightly.

"Kagome, what has gotten in to you? What worked?" Hitomi looked really confused.

"Nothing mom. It was the Shikon.... Ah never mind. Where is Grandpa? Grandpa!!!!!" Kagome yelled for her Grandpa, wanting to hug him badly. She let go of her mother and ran down the stairs. Her Grandpa had just stepped into the living room and he looked rather alarmed as his granddaughter ran at him.

"Kagome... slow down!!" Grandpa yelled as his granddaughter smashed into him, giving him the tightest hug ever.

"I love you Jee-chan! Please don't send me off again!" She cried, holding on to her old man. Finally, she let go and went to hug Souta, now 12, who was eating breakfast before the two had to run off to school.

"Kagome, what has gotten into you?" Souta muttered as she finally calmed down and sat at the table to eat breakfast. She already figured that if she kept this up, they would think she was insane and send her off to a different kind of correctional facility.

"Come on Souta, I will drive you to school this morning, ok?" Kagome told him cheerfully.

"Ok sis... just don't kill me k?" Souta answered.

"Of course not, you are being silly!" I have to go get dressed, so stay here, k?" Kagome asked, not waiting for an answer. Kagome was up and back into her bedroom before Souta had a chance to reply. She went into her wardrobe and pulled out her drawers. She searched and hoped she would find it. Then, she did.

In her hands, she held the exact pair of pants that she had worn the day that Sesshoumaru had killed Naraku. She pulled the jeans on and searched frantically through her shirts for the blouse. Finally, she pulled out the white V-neck and put it on. She grabbed her favorite pair of tennis shoes and grabbed her purse She jogged down the stairs, plopping a kiss on both Hitomi and Grandpa's cheek. "I love you and I will be back soon."

She hurried Souta out the door and grabbed the car keys, leaving a very confused family behind.

"What has gotten in to her?" grandpa whispered. "Maybe a kindred spirit?"

"No, Jee-chan... I don't know. And where did she get that outfit from?" Hitomi mumbled back, completely shocked by her daughter's weird antics.

Kagome dropped Souta off and drove straight to Sango's house. The two were supposed to go shopping today. Kagome knew what was going to happen if she did go with Sango though. Those stupid girls would put the jewelry in her and Sango's purses and then they would be caught for shoplifting, ultimately sending them to boot camp. Instead, she was going to stop it all. She parked in front of Sango's apartment and climbed the steps to the door. She buzzed for Sango's room and waited.

"Yea?" Sango's voice came through a bit scratchily.

"Hey Sango, let me in, it Kagome." Kagome responded.

"Sure, hold on." Sango replied and the door unlocked. Kagome stepped in and jogged up the concrete steps, not wanting to waste precious time. Once at Sango's door, she pulled out a key and let herself in. Sango was getting dressed for their shopping spree.

"Hey Sango." Kagome greeted.

"Hey Kagome, you are early. I didn't expect you for another half hour. What is going on?"

"Sango, we can't go shopping today. If we do, we end up in Nimo's Jewelry store. Then some girls will slip jewelry into our purses and when we leave, we will be caught for shoplifting. Then, our parents will ship us off to Boot Camp where we will meet Sesshou-... Where we will meet Inuyasha and Miroku. Then we will kill Naraku and then the cops will come and we will get arrested... oh never mind." Kagome finished, seeing clear confusion and a hint of disbelief on her best friend's face.

"Honey, are you feeling ok? Who are Inuyasha and Miroku and why is your imagination acting up?" Sango said sounding definitely confused.

"Don't worry about it. Listen, I need to see your phone book ok?" Kagome reassured her friend.

"Fine...you know where it is." Sango replied, dismissing her friend's weird behavior.

Kagome found the phone book and opened it immediately. She flipped through the book, finding the E's. Her eye scanned down the list. E... Ei...Eir... Eiri. "Eiri, oh my god, Sango I found him!" She grabbed out her cell phone and programmed in the only Eiri phone number. 856-643-1862. Taisho, Eiri. She hoped the boys still lived at home. They lived on 1937 N. Sakura Blossom Trail. She knew where that was. It was in the rich part of town. She secretly hoped Sesshoumaru was alive. 'Sesshoumaru...oh how I miss you!' Kagome's heart screamed.

"Sango, we need to go visit a friend of mine over on Sakura Blossom Trail." Kagome said, determination glowing in her eyes.
