Chapter 1

Chapter 1

As Kagome, Sango, Shippou, Miroku, and InuYasha all sat around the fire at their camp site. There was a tension in the air. You see everyone was nervouse because they were about to go into battle with Naraku.

Over the years every one could see that the once alustreous relationship between InuYasha and Kagome had been slowly ripped apart. They once cared for each other so much that it burned with the white hot intesity of 1000 suns.

But now the heat had long gone out. It had been a long 5 years since Kagome had fallen down the well and ended up in Fudeal Japan.

Miroku once a lecherous monk was now madly in love with Sango. And Sango who once resented any feelings she had for him, She now wore on her sleave. They promised each other that their love for each other would be eternal.....Even in Death.

Everyone knew that if they won this battle they would have a complete Shikon Jewel.

Going back to Inuyasha and Kagome. What or should we say who tore them apart was infact non other than Kikyo. Yes the dead Miko.

It was spring and Kagome could smell the freshly bloomed flowers as she walked happily in a medow not far from the Village. All of a sudden the sky grew very dark. Kagome knew somthing was wrong but she couldn't tell what. Then out of no where Demons attacked.

Being alone she was defensless. Earlier before she set off she figured. 'Well I won't be far for the village i wan't need my Bow right?'

Wrong, very wrong. The Deamons Attacked her ruthlessly and with out emotion. She could feel their claws, like daggers, ripping her skin. Her desparate cries for help were deafened by the snarls and roars for the Demons.

She stared to feel cold. She closed her eyes then when she slowly opened them again the demons whom had attacked her were gone. Her eyes were still hazey but she could make out a blury figure. His hair was silver so she meakly said "Inu....Yasha?" The a Stern voice replied "You must have suffered great damage if you think i'm that pothetic Hanyou.

Kagome thought a monent and she froze. When her vision came back fully she was shock to see none other Sesshoumaru Lord of the Western Lands.

You see Sesshoumaru was flying over the four regions when he saw the girl who was always with InuYasha. She was in trouble and there was no sign of this half-brother so he decided to lead a hand. She might serve some purpous. After all she was Very powerfull, For a human that is.

Kagome still remebers looking at him. His face was a blank canvas. But his eyes....oh those beautiful Golden orbs. She remebers thinking 'what beautiful eyes he has. I never noticed till now. They are full of emotion just bottled up ready to burst.' Normaly she would have shook the thought from her mind. But she didn't want to.

Sesshoumaru help her to her feet. "You'll want to go back to the Village now to dess those wounds Girl." Normaly she would have snaped back and said somthing like "I have a name you know. It's Kagome. But she was too weak from blood lose so she noded and slowly headed off to the Village.

Sango and Keade were enjoying a cup of tea, just chatting with one another. When a bloodly Kagome came staggering in. She the collapsed on the floor and went black.

When she came to, she was under some blankets with a cold wet cloth on her forehead. He wounded were tightly wraped to keep the blood in. She then told sango the whole story about how she was attacked and how Sesshoumaru had saved her life.

"That doesn't sound like Sesshoumaru" sango said. "What doesn't sound like Sesshoumaru?" Miroku said as he and Shippou entered the hut. Shippou of course was bringing flowers for Kagome to make her feel better. So sango told him the story Kagome told her.

"You are right, but here's my question. Where in the Hell was InuYasha?" Miroku Asked.

"Where was i when?" Inuyasha said walking into the Hut. He then froze when he saw the condition Kagome was in. "WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO YOU!?" He then screamned. "DO YOU EVEN THINK YOU CAN GO SHARD HUNTING IN THAT CONDITION!?" "Inu....Yasha....." Kagome sofly said "........"She was quiet for a second then she said "sit" Moments later inuyasha was pulling him self from the floor. "WHAT YOU DO THAT FOR!?" He screamed. The Miroku began to tell him the story.

"You expect me to believe that a cold hearted BASTARD like Sesshoumaru is capable of saving a human life?" InuYasha asked. "Yes" Sango replied sternly replied. "And Just where were you?" Shippou snaped. "Kagome said she screamened your name maybe over 1000 times and you never came. WHATS WITH THAT!? HUH?" "Well.....I......UH......You see...." Inuyasha said tring to come up with an excuse. *sniff*sniff* "You smell like Kikyo and *sniff* INUYASHA! You were having sex with Kikyo! WERN'T YOU!?" Shippou accused. "Whats it to ya?" InuYasha smugly responded. "Your actions today almost cose Kagome her life!" Miroku yelled. "That's it i don't have to take this!" And with that InuYasha stormed out of the Hut. The others soon folowed to give Kagome some quite, to rest up and regain her strength.

Unknowing to them Kagome was awake through this. And tears started to roll down her face. And she relized he no longer loved her.

That is why their relationship after that was going down hill. It was Kikyo who sent those demons after Kagome, and before they attacked she lured inuyasha away and engaged in Sexual Relations with him so he wouldn't run after that troublesom little girl. What she wasn't counting on was InuYasha's handsom older half-brother to save her.

"I think we should all get a good nights rest. Tomorrow is going to be a hard day." Kagome said breaking the silence.

"Yeah i guess so." InuYasha sneared. Kagome knew as soon as they defeted Naraku the Shikon Jewel will be complete. And inuyasha would try and take the completed jewel. But she wouldn't let him........
