When It All Began........

Chapter 1

When It All Began.......

~* Flashback to Four Years Ago*~

*~ Four Souls Elementary School ~*

Nakumi Takashio waited patiently for the bell signaling that it was time to go home. She could'nt wait because today, her mommy was picking her up.

As she waited, she looked around the classroom because she was sure somebody was staring at her. Sure enough, once she turned to the left, she saw one of her many ' admirers' staring at her like as if he had never seen her before.

Nakumi turned back around and sighed as she remembered something her mother had told her.' Honey, they only stare becuase you are beautiful, and they either envy, or admire you. You should be very proud of that.'

Nakumi knew she was pretty, and everybody always told her that, but what she could'nt understand.......was that since she was only 6, why was everybody treating her like an adult?

Why did boys stare at her ALL the time?............' Ok, dumb question I just asked myself.' She knew exactly why they stared, and why some girls did'nt like her.

Her hair went all the way to her butt, was wavy like her moms, and was a mixure of silver streaked with black and blue. Her eyes were gorgeous and unnatural like her mothers and fathers, except hers were silver, while her moms was sky blue, and her dads were golden.Nakumi was very proud of her looks, parents, and even her life!!

She just wished everyone would treat her like a 6 year old and not a super model!

When the bell finally rang, she jumped out of her seat, and ran to the door. After she grabbed her backpack, she hurried outside, eager to see her mother.

As she sat, she saw many kids run past her, but most said a quick 'goodbye!' or 'see ya later!'

As she waited, her three bestest best friends Nina, Neka, and Kahara came and sat bye her till their parents came to pick them up. One bye one they would each get picked up, and offered her a ride, but she polietly refused their offers stating that she was waiting for her mother.

When she was left all alone, she sighed heavily wishing that her mother would hurry and pick her up.

But what Nakumi did not notice was the man that was walking towards her from the other side of the street, untill a face was in her line a vision since she was dazing off.

When she saw the man, she got startled, and jumped alittle. Nakumi watched as the man looked her up and done, as if analizing her or something, but either way, it scared her alot.

She got even more startled when he began to speak." Ah, so you must be the one i'm looking for." Then he smilied a creepy smile.

Nakumi said nothing to the man, remembering her fathers wise words of ' Never speak to strangers. There's not telling what they may do to you.' The words of her father echoed in her head as she was determined not to speak.

The man stared at her straight in the face, before saying, " Well Sweetie, aren't you going to say anything?" Nakumi tured to look at him, and before she could stop herself, she blurted out," My father says to never talk to strangers!" Then she looked away, hoping the man would leave her alone.

The man chuckled, and reached out and rubbed her cheek gently while saying," Then allow me to introduce myself. I am Naraku Nakahashi, and I am a good friend of your mothers. I would also like to get to know you better dear."

Naraku smiled again at the shock on Nakumi's face. When she realized that he was still rubbing her cheek, she pushed his hand away, and scooted away from the steps.

"Now now, theres no need for you to be scared of me. I was simply going to ask a favor from you."

He watched as she slowly turned and looked at him for a second before finally asking, " Well what is it you would like me to do?"

He grinned evily before saying," I just want you to hand your mother this letter" He reached in his coat pocket and pulled out a wite envolpe before handing it to her.

" I would do it myself, but i'm sure your dad would'nt like that now would he?" He watched as she slowly put it in her backpack.

He stayed a couple minutes more before saying," As much as I would LOVE to stay here with you, I must get home. Maybe i'll see you again perhaps?"

He laughed at the look on her face before in the blink of an eye, he leaned down, and lightly kissed her innocent, untouched lips, before disappering just as fast.

Suddenly, Nakumi had the most strongest horrifing urge to throw up.

' Did............did a grown man just?...........did he just k-k-kiss h-her???'

Oh Kami tell her it wasn't so. But the urge to throw up confirmed her answer. After she heaved up her lunch, she began crying her eyes out.

' What kind of cruel, evil, man would kiss a 6 year old he did'nt know, nor be

kissing?!?' '.....................Naraku would..................'

As she continued crying, she never noticed her dad pull up bye the school, and hop out after he had seen her crying. " Nakumi! Nakumi!" " Daddy? Daddy!!" Sesshoumaru sped up the steps to his crying daughter. Nakumi cried on her daddys shoulder as he picked her, and her backpack up, and walked to their car.

Once they were seated, he immendently started apoligizing and questiong her.

" Nakumi I am so sorry you had to wait so long, but at the last minuet, your mother called, and said that she would'nt be able to pick you up." " Why were you crying?" "Are you hurt?" " Do you nee-" but before he could finish, Nakumi cut him off, crying an saying," Dad, it's ok your late, I'll tell you later why I was crying, and yes I am heart.......but only in my heart."

Nakumi looked away sadly as her father looked at her in shock. He managed to ask the question that had been bugging him through half of their trip back home.

" Nakumi............is this one of those rare personally things that you tell me and not your mom?" All Nakumi did was nod, and Sesshoumaru told her that once they got home, that they were going straight to her room.

Once they arrived, they jumped out of the car, and quickly made their way to Nakumi's room. Once they were comfortably seated, he asked another question that had been bugging him.

" Nakumi...........dose this have to do with guys?...........cause remember last time.......

~~*Flashback*~~

" Umm dad.....I need to tell you something thats really important.....do you have time to listen?"

" Of course I do sweetie, now what is it that you needed to speak about?"

" Um.....well there this boy at school......and his older came to get him once, I think he was in 8th grade, and well....um....he kinda tried to.....to get me to.....umm......"

" Nakumi...please tell what he did so I can help you"

" Well........he told me he wanted to....to....umm whats that word?.......oh yeah! he said he wanted to have an intimate moment with me and that I was really cute. Why would an 8th grader say thoughs kind of things to first grader? What dose that all mean daddy???.....................daddy?.....

Sesshoumaru's eyes had bled dark red, and he was about ready to kill this boy that dared to try and taint his little girls innocent mind with such adultry things.

" Daddy..are you ok? Your kindof scaring me..."

Sesshoumaru flew from his seat, to his daughter, which caused her to scream, and when he sniffed her for a moment and then flew out the window, she became terrified for the boys life.

It ended up with Sesshoumaru hunting the boy down, threating him that if he ever said such vile things to me, better yet talk to me, then he would not hesitate in him.

~~*End Flashback*~~

Nakumi giggled lightly at the memory. Then she stopped gigglig, and started crying as she thought about what she was about to tell her dad.

" Daddy......this is worse though......see..while I was waiting for mommy to come pick me up, and all of the kids had gone, a man ca-"

but before she could utter another word, her father was kneeling before her with disbelief in his eyes at the sound that a 'man'

had been involved instead of a boy.

" Nakumi, what do you mean by man?"

" Like you daddy"

" Well what did he do to you? Tell me!"

"..................... He kissed me" Nakumi whispered softly as her dad's eyes bled red and he roared in anger for the world to hear.
