Goddess of Neverwhere - Prologue

Fairy tales can't be real. This place around me can't be real. It's all just a nightmare. A very real nightmare. But how real can a nightmare get before it becomes a reality? I always wondered. Even to this day. Sure, her nightmares can be real to her; very real. The world she was forced to stay in was just a Fuedal Fairy Tale, but how far can the Feudal Fairy Tale get in order for it be a nightmare and then reality?

None of it made since, but I knew of a word that made perfect since to describe a place like this. A place like this never should exist. That's the reason why people call it a Fairy Tale. Becuse it shouldn't exist; it's something made-up and never to enter reality. But the portal between the two clashed and made a gap. A gap for only one person to enter. A person who changed the world.

Me.

For reality was quante. Nothing went wrong. All was happy, yet so boring at the same time. People had problems that couldn't be explain, but who knew what they were. All the people in the world were lived in a place that blured with everything else. Everything was said to be perfect, but isn't perfect boring? No one the reality of then knew that simple sentance but her.

She was the only colorful person with real emotions and real problems that actually existed. But the only problem that was the most mayjor was that she was the only one who traveled between the clash. The gap that entered both reality and Fairy Tale. So, if I'm the one who can travel to both of the seprate worlds and the person who had real emotions coud travel, who was she?

Me.

And do you know why these two seprate worlds were kept seprate? Because of who lived in them. Some think they were sealed away by just one person, but no one knows because their lives are perfect. Nothing to them matters but what they think is important. And, what is important? Their own life.

I was the only one who could travel to the other world, and was scared when I found out. There I found beings that wanted to kill me because of what I can do. I can travel. And I can travel is still a mystery to everyone around me and myself. But again, the people around me don't care about myself being able to travel to the Fuedal Fairy Tale. No one cares but one person.

Me.

Still, why me? One day I did find out. And I immediately regreted to ever find out. No one wondered why I was so depressed. Even though I knew what I had become to them. I had become their Goddess.

The Goddess of both worlds. No one still knows what it is like when both worlds will clash. But of course, there is one person. The other one. The reason I was to be able to travel in the gap. I was the one who could travel. I was the Goddess. But of what? The worlds were live in? No, I wasn't the Goddess of the worlds we lived on.

I was and still am the Goddess of Neverwhere.

Let me tell you how it all happened. It's a very long story, and I'm afraid that I won't be able to finish before it is time to see other one before so. So, I will have to tell you the story in parts. Starting with the world I once lived in now. Because if I told you everything at once, the balance between everything in the new worlds we live will be currupt.

Everything in this new world has a purpose, and my story has a big one. For no one knows the story of the Goddess, the balance, as I said, will be currupt. And now it begins. The story of the Goddess of Neverwhere.
