I'm so tired of being here,

Suppressed by all my childish dears

And if you have to leave,

I wish that you would just leave ,

'Cause your presence still lingers here,

And it won't leave me alone.

This pain is just too real,

There's just too much that time cannot erase.

And I held your hand through all of these years,

She sat by her window,looking out at the dismal world she called home,but it wasn't what she considered her real home.

Her real home was in the past.......with him.

You used to captivate me

By your resonating light

By the life you left behind

Your face it haunts

My once pleasant dreams

Your voice it chased away

All the sanity in me

She wished that she were back at the day when they were standing together on the river grassy river bank,it was one of the few times he had actually smiled.

She missed his voice,but at the same time,it was all around her.

She heard him,saw him,felt him in her dreams,she was going mad without him.

She would wake at night screaming his name,willing him to her side,but he could never hear her.

Her dreams were her only comfort in the waking world.

She was asleep in her world of bliss,dreaming of him again,she was happy.

She had all her loved ones at her side again,but most of all she had him to love her and guide her through life as they grew old together.

Again,it faded slowly into darkness.

She was on the point of waking again,she screamed.

But this time,instead of waking in her darkened room alone,she awoke to some one holding her tightly.

She opened her eyes and there she saw him,that rare,gorgeous smile beaming down on her like a thousand lights from heaven.

He was holding her when he reached and took her hand in his own,caressing it lovingly.

"And I held your hand through all of these years,you still have all of me." He whispered softly.

He gently swept her up in his arms and carried her off into the starlit night sky above,soaring beyond the pain and regret of the past to a new life together as one.
