Decision time for Inuyasha

They're at it again. They're fighting like it's the end of the damn world! Why were they here again? It makes no sense! The teenage girl heavily sighed. ~Damn Sesshoumaru! ~ The scene played over and over in her head as she could still imagine how they were fighting a youkai for a Shikon no Tama then in came the 'lord of the western lands'. No questions about it, he want the sword that kills 100 youkai in one blow, Tetsusaiga. And no doubt, Inuyasha would never hand it to the fleas bag.

"Yaaaaaaaaaaaa" a voice roared, making Kagome jump out of her daydreaming. It was Inuyasha.

Sesshoumaru smirked. "Is that all you got? Pathetic!" he spat.

Kagome started to daydream once more. She closed her eyes and concentrate. Dark. Emptiness. Loneness. Added something that could not be putted into words. This is . . . her world. For quite awhile, without realising what's going on in her mind, Kagome, the powerful miko had started to change.

~ Inuyasha? ~ Yes. It is, after all, his fault.

~ Sesshoumaru? ~ No. Not at all. Kind to think about it, Kagome never did dislike Sesshoumaru, did she? No, it was just because of the hatred between the two brothers that things turned out this way. It would be a good thing if the two of them get straighten up and team up against the obvious upcoming battle against Naraku.

"Kagome-chan! Watch out!" Sango's voice shouted.

Kagome opened her eyes as she had heard Sango's frightened voice. Never would she have expected to find an angry Sesshoumaru charging towards her. The tip of his claws turned into a green colour, furiously edging towards Kagome's pale face. The miko noticed the changed of colour and shuddered. Poison. The lord of the western land caught her neck, he then mumbled words that bought chills to Kagome and her company's spines.

"Her life, or the Tetsusaiga?" His demanded to know, his face an expressionless mask.

Kagome froze. This isn't the first time he ever did this, but the thought of her being just a toy for them to trade for, hurts. From a long distance she could see Inuyasha's face turned pale. She half wanted to scream at the lord that holds her life, the other half wanted to, surprisingly, thank him.

~ Chose Inuyasha ~ Kagome thought. It's weird, how Sesshoumaru had said the same thing Kagome had thought at the same time. Is it a sign of fate? Or just a coincidence? Maybe both? Whatever it is the result would be the same. She and him were born in this world for one reason, to fight against each other.

"Inuyasha, chose now or do you want me to chose for you?" monotonously said by the one and only, Sesshoumaru.

Inuyasha's eyes flickered. How could he choose? Kagome or Tetsusaiga? How? He glaze over to the sword he's holding then to the girl he believe he loved. She's crying deep inside her, he could tell by the sorrowful blue-grey eyes of her. He had hurt her, mentally and emotionally. His mind raced around the world of darkness, he wanted to have an answer. Kagome? Tetsusaiga? They're both important to him. Tetsusaiga is the best thing to use to protect and destroy. The best way to show his pride. Kagome, she's the one that had stolen his . . .. Heart? Surely not. But . . . . . without Kagome, whom could he protect by using Tetsusaiga? There is no other person he would like to protect other than Kagome.

"Now, Inuyasha" Kagome capturer's voice threatens once again.

Yes. Inuyasha now know the answer. He, a worthless hanyou, as everyone says, has the answer at last. He has to choose Kagome. Correction, he WANTS to choose Kagome. When the poor hanyou opened his mouth, a cold voice called out to him. The voice sounded familiar. The voice sounded regretful. And the voice belongs to, Inuyasha turned around to stare face to face with the beholder, Kikyo.
