My Give a Damn's Busted by *~*Stylized_Silver_Miko*~*

A Whole New Change

Kagome, Miroku, Sango, and Shippou walked along a dirt path that had been taken quite often.

"Inuyasha, can we have a break at the next villiage we pass by? I'm tired, and could use a break, and besides, it's getting a little dark..." Kagome asked pleasantly. Inuyasha grunted looking a little evil in the face.

"Wench, do we have to take a break every five seconds? Geez, you act like you're one of those himes living around here. Well, you're not one, you ain't no lady!" he scoffed. Kagome grew livid with anger, so much that Inuyasha could smell it on her. Then she calmed down and screamed to the air, the noise large loud and growling, and upsetting numerous birds who happened to be unfortunate enough to sit and sleep in the trees near the Kakera group.

"SSSSSSSIIIIIIIITTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Inuyasha fell into a crater SO large that it could be used as a very large swimming pool. He had trouble getting the grit out of his mouth and sitting up, for the spell had not released him from it's sobriety state yet. So, without anything else to do, he muttered curses under his breath and struggled to get up from the infernal trap he was stuck in. Kagome looked a little more than satisfied. She had a look of annoyance and anger on her face.

"Well, INUYASHA, since I lag behind so much, I'm going HOME!! I dare you to stop me!" she screamed.

She turned to Sango, the look of disdain not leaving her face.

"Can I borrow Kilala?" the taijiya nodded, Kilala transforming as her answer was returned. She took out numerous foodstuffs, tied the into a large cloth, and handed them to Sango.

"You may eat these while I'm gone, since I will be at home, I will have no need for them. I will be gone for a day, two at the most. I can't take much of this Sango." she looked at her dear friend, and climbed on the huge firecat. "Kilala, take me to the well." she scratched Kilala's fur as the enormous cat took off into the sky with a burst of flames.

To put in laymens' terms, the rest of the group, especially Shippou, was not pleased.

Shippou wailed in distress. "Look what you did

now, Inuyasha! You made her go back to the future!" The little kitsune ran off to cry in Sango's shoulder. Inuyasha was positively indiffrent.

"So what? The wench sat me again, I can't help it if she can't take a joke!" he growled. Sango and Miroku looked a little downcast at Inuyasha's idiocy.

"Saying that Kagome 'Ain't no lady' is quite an insult to her, and any woman, for that matter. I do hope she isn't mad at us too often. You are complaining about how far behind we are at finding the Shikon shards, and if you stopped to notice, that if you rarely or never angered her, we'd already have more shards than Naraku. It's been two years roughly since she first fell through that Bone Eaters well. This could have been long over had you kept your mouth closed." Miroku stood looking a little angry at Inuyasha. Sango stood as well.

"I'm fed up with it Inuyasha! All of this bullshit between you and Kagome has to stop! It's killing her! Any other girl wouldn't be able to stand a week of what you two go through day by day. She wouldn't have to sit you every time you say or do something so utterly degrading to her! I'm sorry for telling her business, but she's loved you since forever! She continues to feel this way, even after all of the hurt you put her through! I won't have it! You won't even give her the benefit or telling her that you love Kikyo instead, instead of sneaking away!" she grabbed the closest thing (which happened to be poor Shippou) and threw it hard in her frusterated anger.

The poor kit slammed head first into an old strong oak tree and bounced off of it, dizzy eyes on his face from the shock of being thrown and the pain of the hit on his skull. Sango immeadiately felt sorry she threw him, and picked him up and cradled him in her arms, trying to ennervate him. She looked at Inuyasha disgustedly.

"I'm taking a walk." she growled out evenly. Miroku and Inuyasha flinched. Miroku looked at Inuyasha pitifully.

"Inuyasha, I'm not asking that you change yourself, but do keep in mind that Kagome is nothing like you, so you must think out of your own mind, and for gods' sakes, keep your mouth at bay!" Miroku went after Sango, to leave Inuyasha to his thoughts. The hanyou was at a complete loss of words.

*~*In the future, with Kagome*~*

Kagome climbed out of the well, and breathed in home. The sky and world was diffrent here. for a while, she could completely forget that Inuyasha and the kakera and Naraku ever existed, and she could be.........normal.

'Well, as normal as I'll ever get...' thinks Kagome sadly.

Even if she could lead a normal life at home, she was still a miko. She had all her powers, and everything. She began to walk out of the well house when she felt several auras.

"Come on out, I know you are there..." she yelled to the trees. Six girls jumped out from the tops of the trees over the well house. She noticed that each of them were gothlike, and all of them had on darker colors of the rainbow. Their seeming leader wore dark crimson instead of a bright, truer red. The others wore purple, dark blue, hunter green, golden yellow and a burnt orange color.

"Kagome, we've been searching for you. You may not want to believe us when we tell you, but we are mikos, just like you. You need to be trained properly, and we are here to help you."said the leader.

"My name is Natsuko. This here," she pointed to the girl wearring orange, "..is Akiko. This is Fuyuko." she pointed to the dark blue clad girl. She pointed to the one wearing green. "This is Haruko," and her arm moved towards the yellow and purple "And this is Ginko and Chiiko, respectively. We, including you, are the only mikos left in japan. there are a few in America, but other than that, our populus is very low." She eyed Kagome with interest. Kagome was about to open her mouth, but the one in purple drearily said,

"We already know. We will only have you trained for the days that you are actually here at home. We cannot follow you, too much energy in one area in the feudal times will attract demons."

"Do you accept our training, and to become one of us?" asked Natsuko. Kagome pondered. It would make her power more focused, something she could afford to have in the final inevitable battle with Naraku. Then she would not need the assistance of Inuyasha in saving her behind.

Inuyasha.

'Stupid whiny, hanyou ass.......' she thought. She grinned rather malevolently. The girls were taken aback by her pleasantly evil look.

"I'll do it."
