Chapter One

Death surrounded the burning woods as the raven haired miko stood, staring manically at it. "Soon, soon you will all perish."

A party for some company had been going on when the girl, an adult by the law, had burned it to the ground, leaving no survivors. She surveyed the scene, smiling at her damage.

Turing on hell, she left the scene, leaving nothing of her behind. No witnesses, no evidence.

Slamming the door of her apartment she laughed when she saw her friend, lying on the couch. "Did they all perish Kagome?" she asked, glancing at her.

"You bet Sango." Kagome smirked, they would never steal her company again, nor try, all were dead, including the employees.

Sango had been her friend for as long as she could remember, growing yet staying the same. She had auburn hair, which she held in a ponytail, chocolate eyes, and slim figure. She would need it to help Kagome in her crimes.

Kagome had had no excitement for over a month, and the 'tragic' death of the Motsura family had slowly subsided. Although, she was hardly worried about police. Her first murder had been when she was fifteen, when she had been forced to marry, to save her father's company.

Her blue eyes sparkled as she remembered the first time.

She had only been a young girl, with rather romantic beauty. She had dazzled many and had been proposed to on more than one occasion.

On her fifteenth birthday, she had refused to marry a man named Hojo, who, as much as she hated to admit, was handsome and suited her perfectly. Yet, he would never understand her desire, her desire for blood, to hear it, smell it, to taste its sweet nectar.

So, in turn she had turned him down, besides it wasn't time for her to marry.

But, when one day Naraku came, with a sadistic smirk he had entered her father's office. Five minutes later, her father and Naraku came out, who looked rather triumphant.

Kagome's POV

"Kagome?" my father had asked, avoiding my face, I knew, somehow that a business deal had been made, and it included me and my well being.

"Yes father?" My duty was to do anything for my father's company and I would accept my fate with grace.

"This is Naraku, I believe you met him at last year's banquet?" Father was avoiding telling me, stalling in other words, and it was annoying this man, Naraku greatly, I could tell by the glares he sent at my father.

"Tell her now or the deal is off." Naraku commanded.

"This is he mad you are to wed." My father finished off quickly, happy to get that off his chest, but he only placed it on mine.

My world tore apart with those words and the rest had been a blur, after refusing for so many years to wed, it had been changed, and my future was with a man I barley knew.

After the wedding, we never had a honeymoon, I remember him trying to bed me. I had fought until he struck me. That seemed to end with his persistence, although once Naraku feel asleep, I pulled my hidden dagger.

It glowed wonderfully in the moonlight, as if it were made for a celestial being, its powers would help me control my fate, for that was my decision, not my fathers. I no longer cared if my father='s company perished, overnight or ever.

I glanced at the handsome man, his leathery scent drifted in my nostrils making me want to gag. If I had not fought my children would have smelt like an oven pot roast being burned. I held the handle of the dagger in my palm and held it near his heart. His snores told me he was asleep, deeply too.

Not making a sound, I plunged the dagger into his heart. His eyes snapped open, I let the dagger sit in his chest. Watching him, he feared dying I realized as I watched him grip the handle and see that it was the only thing keeping him alive.

He held the dagger for dear life, I only smirked, his fear drifted in his scent, I could sense how alarmed he was, I wrapped my hands around the weapon and tugged. An anguished cry fell from his lips, I loved the sound, his pain, I pulled the dagger to my lips and licked his blood. He was already dead, but I licked the blade clean. Mo one cared if he died, yet I had burned the house, and waited for the cops to come. I watched as they searched the grounds, they had never known I had been married, they didn't know I existed my father had never admitted me to the system.

"Sergeant, are there any clues?" a blonde haired man asked, I had found that his name was Michael, an American trainee from Nevada. The sergeant was Takanaka, more or less used with the 'sama.'

"No, there's absolutely nothing, all we have was that he was stabbed in the chest. But the weapon is gone. All evidence had been burned."

He named off the possible suspects and as I already knew, I was not one of them. I smiled and drifted off into the woods, letting my senses free.

Regular POV

The memory left her and but she remembered how she had met Sango not long after that. They had been child hood friends and Sango had the same sense as she did, yet she did not have her feline grace or her cat like ways. She seemed to know what people thought with one glance.

"Kagome?" Kagome had somehow managed to miss Sango's waving arms. Blinking she raised an elegant eyebrow.

"We're supposed to go to the club tonight, remember?" Sango asked, it was her favorite thing to do, dancing g was a way she and Kagome both relieved what they did during the night or daylight hours.

In this case, Sango had been of no help, she had stayed home, with her date from the other night.

"Yeah, lemme go get ready." Kagome turned on her heel and headed for her bedroom. Sango giggle, most people would have said she was rude, but she knew better Kagome was just preparing for a drunken ass night.

She pulled the door open to Kagome's room, ignoring her glare, and said, "I'm using something from your closet."

Hours later, both girls were ready and looking absolutely stunning. Kagome wore what she called, "my blueberry dress." Her dress consisted off a cut off dress that clung to her curves, black earrings dangled from her ears, and lip gloss graced her lips.

While Sango on the other hand, wore a pink dress, that went mid thigh and it too clung in all the right places, except she wore pink eye shadow and red lipstick.
