She's Vanished

Kagome stood there on one of the many balconies of the Western Castle. She stood glued to the spot looking deep into his golden orbs. She saw many things delving deep into his irises. ............But the most dominant was love. He stared into her eyes, the eyes of a demon he was fonder of then his own life, and was an ocean of many things, a deep cerulean blue color that even brightened the sky in the night. He took a deep breath knowing that their time was short he could hear the battle raging on beneath them.

He realized something at that very moment that he Sesshomaru Lord of the Western Domain loved the woman named Kagome. This demon was of his race but was the heir to the Northern Hemisphere, but she was different from other inu demons. Her hair had silver stripes within her bluish black hair, her body was curved in all the right places, and she was like a goddess to anyone. On her forehead she bore the crest of a full moon and in the center was a blue star, the moon was silver like Sesshomaru's hair. He looked up at the haunting moon reminding him of his lands and his duty to them he looked away back to the war that raged below.

He sighed knowing that Kagome would have to leave him tonight before the war was too out of hand. He turned back to her looking into her eyes he was about to tell her I love you but was stopped by her finger covering his lips. "I know Sesshy" Kagome said in a soft, delicate voice. "You have to go for your own safety you know right". "Yes I do". He gave her a quick kiss and put a necklace on her neck it had a blue crescent moon with two fangs on each side of the moon. He whispered in her ear "Forget me not my love". This sent chills up her back and butterflies flying in her stomach she had never actually heard him say it. Suddenly a demon in the war jumps onto the balcony attacking Kagome Sesshomaru screamed in rage attacking the demon when he saw her.............................her falling off the edge of the balcony into the demons arms. He was running at the speed of light but she could still make out the fact that he was a wolf demon with the symbol of the east on his forehead. He had a sun on his forehead so she finally knew who they were at war with the.............east. She was trying to remember his name it was something like...........Trogin. All Kagome could hear was the wind whisking past her at a fast pace. They finally came to a stop when Sesshomaru attacked Trogin knocking her out of his hands free falling into a well. Sesshomaru failed to see this out of rage, which had caused a battle to begin.

Both demons landed on the ground in a stance prepared to fight to the death. Sesshomaru couldn't even hear Kagomes cries of pain for he was to far blind by rage to even hear a heart beat. Either Trogin or Sesshomaru were to make the first move. Neither moved for what seemed like eternity was only a few minutes that went by. Trogin was irritated by not being able to escape with his prize, but he hadn't fought for weeks and thought to him self, 'If I take him down then I would gain the Western Lands for defeating one of the most powerful demons in Japan.' Trogin decided to make the first move. He ran at Sesshomaru at incredible speed, but Sesshomaru dodged it with ease.

Trogin pulled a dagger out of his Kimono and turned quickly, but stopped when he saw Sesshomaru's back. Trogin quickly aimed the dagger and threw it. Sesshomaru didn't sense the dagger in time to dodge it. It hit him in his right shoulder, but it only scratched him. Sesshomaru ran towards Trogin with immense speed, with his claws dripping a green acid, and he turned that acid into a whip of light. He slashed Trogin with the whip until Trogin fell to his feet.

Kagome hit the bottom of the well and stood up rubbing her sore bum. She got ready to jump when she heard blood splatter; she jumped out of the well to see an enraged Sesshomaru whipping a crimpled Trogin. Kagome gasped as he turned to see her about to land. Sesshomaru took his claws and chopped off Trogin's head and whispered to the wind, "No one, touches what belongs to this Sesshomaru!" When Kagome landed she fell to her knees in pain. 'Where's this pain coming from, it's so strong,' Kagome thought as she looked everywhere on her body.

Kagome smelt the blood, her blood; it was coming from her stomach near her womanhood. 'No if it's destroyed, Sesshomaru will hate me, I'll have to place a spell to turn the tables of time and allow me to grow younger with no cuts and I will be healed but I don't know of the effects. Well it's worth a try,' Kagome thought as she stared at her stomach. Sesshomaru saw the seriousness in her eyes, but he continued to grow closer as her scent calmed his inu youkai. He stopped two feet away from her as he heard her cast a spell.

"Goddess of youth, goddess of healing, goddess of time, send me your powers to heal my wounds, send me back in time, and lower my age to help protect my organs of life... hear my call and answer it for I call thee goddesses of youth, healing, and time to my presence," Kagome spoke with her hands toward the sky and her eyes closed, she slowly lowered one hand to the earth and murmured the last of the spell aloud, "Gods of the earth and space I need your help... god of earth combine your powers with youth and healing... god of space combine your power with time... now all five hit me at once and I will carry out your wishes when I can grant them for the great miko will be born again through me..." Sesshomaru's eyes went wide when he saw five gods appeared and shot his beloved with energy. After Kagome was hit by the energy she disappeared into a pink light and said to him before she vanished, "Don't forget me my love for I know I won't remember you or my heritage so remind me when I return in good time..."

With that said she disappeared without a trace to where she went only that she no longer stood where she was. Sesshomaru fell to his knees in tears. For the first time in his life he cried, he hasn't cried since his mother's death so he'd prefer to hide in the days of sadness. Sesshomaru walked back to the castle in silence. No one in the forest dared to mess with the emotional lord, at least while he was in this state. When he got back to the castle his father saw Sesshomaru walk pass him with tears coming down his face. "Sesshomaru, what troubles you, it must have been something bad to have caused you to cry real tears," his father asked. Sesshomaru stopped walking and turned towards his father. He whispered in a soft voice, "She's gone father, no longer able to be sensed on this planet, her scent is gone. She left me father, she vanished into a pink light and unable to be traced by any body." His father stared at him in pity, "You fell in love with a creature that would vanish in time if not treated right and she was treated with love from you, yet she is time it's self... my dear son she was a miko was she not."

"She was but why did she go, she was all I had," Sesshomaru said as he turned, "I will not love another, from now on this Sesshomaru will not be effected by these silly emotions that weakens everyone." Sesshomaru headed for his room for sleep, while whipping the nonstop tears that continue to fall. "You will find her again you baka, you will see her again and I know it... some times I believe you were born as a stubborn bakazaru (bakazaru means, idiot monkey). I do believe it's true," he whispered after Sesshomaru was out of earshot.

A well house near a shrine, far into the future (500 years), was engulfed in a pink light. A young woman, a young man, and an elder man saw this light. They came running at the sight of the light. When the light faded a bundle was sitting on the ground outside the well house door. The young woman opened the bundle to see a baby, "It's a baby girl dad, she can be are little girl Hiro." Hiro walked toward the young woman and looked at the baby, "Yes she could my dear and lets get her inside before she freezes here in the cold air."

They all walked inside the house and walked to the living room. "What should we call her," Hiro said as he sat down on the couch. The wind whispered into the young woman's ears and repeated, "Her name is Kagome, her name is Kagome, her name is Kagome..." The young woman spoke to Hiro, "We can name her, Kagome... for some reason the world agrees with the name... it rings in my ears, I have a feeling she is going to be special one day." Hiro looked down at her and whispered in her ears, "She is very special to have us, I think you'll be a great mother Katlyn." He looked down at his new daughter and smiled as she stared at him with wide eyes and a sparkling smile.
