Well, this is my first fanfic ever to be downloaded, so go easy on me! I'm trying, k? I am absolutely horrible at lemons so my lemon is sour. I'm not going to write many of those. Eventually I plan to come out with a trilogy of my own. Maybe I'll make an IY series or something too if I can think of a good story that won't seem drawn out. This is rated NC-17 so if your not over the age of 17, I don't suggest reading this. This is a long shot fic, it's not hard to understand I don't think, but you can judge that for yourselves. Sorry if my writing style is inconsistent, I write depending on my mood so the fic will change with it.

Have fun! Hope you Enjoy! J : ) =) ^_^ ** (SMILEY FACES!)

Chapter 1: Damn Inuyasha

Sometimes, Kagome would like to say she hated the half dog demon. Of course, she couldn't because it would be a lie. No matter how mad she got at him, she would never hate him.

Then there was Sesshoumaru. Her feelings there were a real paradox. She had been drawn to him from the beginning but the whole "I want Tetsusaiga and I will kill you to get it," kept a crevice between them. Sorry, an abyss. She'd like to be friends with him but being enemies made that kind of hard. Sure, to everyone she pretended to hate him because he had tried to kill IY. Truth was she knew he wasn't using all his power, that he was holding back. She had shot at him, knowing full well she wasn't going to hit him. She could feel that he would never actually kill them. She didn't know how she knew, but she did. She knew quite a lot about Sesshou, but something always escaped her, his feelings and some of his thoughts. She couldn't for instance, tell what he was thinking when he had decided not to kill IY, but she knew why he acted the way he did. It was the enormous burden of a kingdom he had to keep in order. More it was his heritage that made him pretend to be aloof from everything. That and his past, which she could not see into. It had scared her at first, being able to see some of his thoughts, but she had slowly got used to it. He was the only one she could do this to, and it bewildered her. How in the world was she able to read his thoughts? She blocked them out most of the time; He was usually pretending to be mad at Jaken because of how funny the toad acted.

On this particular day IY had been a total jerk, again, and Kagome was headed home. She knew he wouldn't stop her because he was busy seeing Kikyou. The thought of him with Kikyou made her eyes burn and her throat close up. She shook her head furiously, determined not to cry. She knew he loved Kikyou but why did he have to be such a jerk to her then go and stare at Kikyou? The way he looked at Kikyou, like he wanted her, to care and protect her, to love her... while most of his looks directed towards herself were usually disdainful. These thoughts brought more tears to her eyes and she couldn't stop them. She wouldn't make a noise though as the pearly drops rolled down her cheeks. In a few moments she would be in her own time taking a nice hot bath, which always calmed her.

. . . . . .

Sesshoumaru had just finished destroying some pesky low-level youkai on the edge of his lands. He was headed to spy on the group with his half brother and sighed. It wouldn't really be spying since that girl knew. She'd know he was there, but it didn't bother him too much anymore. A few times she had stared right at the spot he was in and smiled before turning away. It had affected him and he was troubled as to this simple girl could get into his conscious. It was something that perplexed him, and yet he didn't kill her. The day he had first seen her he knew she was no mere mortal, that she was somehow special. After she pulled out the Tetsusaiga he had deftly probed her conscious. It was completely open, no walls or locked doors. He could see everything she was thinking and feeling and had been astonished to see the smallest feeling she had was fear. The largest were hope, wonder, amazement and curiosity towards many things at once. There was a little anger there too that was directed toward him. The lack of fear was attracting to him and he for a moment let his guard down. All at once he realized his mistake and quickly it returned, but too late. She had seen things about him few had seen. Angrily he flicked his hand at her and unleashed his Dokkasou. But that Fang of his fathers had protected her and she got up. It didn't take him long to feel her in his conscious. He carefully put up barriers so she couldn't see his thoughts. After a while he realized that she could break through some of the barriers, but not all of them.

He felt a pull on his conscious and opened up just enough to feel what she was thinking. She was despairing because of that Hanyou IY. There was immense pain in her heart and she was headed toward the well. Then he noticed her pain eased a little and she was thinking of him. He wondered why thinking of him made her forget her pain momentarily. Then he noticed the smell of some weak Youkai headed for her, for the jewel. He was there in the flash of an instant to see tears running down her cheeks. The youkai were still a little ways off, and he studied her for a moment while she was too caught up in her worries to notice him. She took a ragged breath but refused to sob outright. She would not let this kill her, it seemed.

. . . . . . .

Kagome stood there for a moment before walking on again. It was then that the kehai of a jewel shard broke into her woesome thoughts. She cursed herself for not noticing earlier. The youkai were almost upon her; she wouldn't make it to the well... A flash of white hair caught her attention.

'Inuyasha?' She thought, but quickly changed her misconception when she felt the tug at her conscious. She carefully squinted up to see her savior was, indeed, Sesshoumaru. Then she noticed something that literally shocked her to the core.
