*There you are in a darkened room And you're all alone Looking out the window*

Kagome stood in a darkened room, looking out the window to the night. Her face pale and eyes red, hurt and tires from crying. Crying because of her broken heart and pain, what came within.

"Why Inuyasha? Why did you leave me?" She asked quietly abouth a millionth time that day as new tears started to ran down from her face.

*Your heart is cold and lost the will to love Like a broken arrow*

She felt cold. Not outside, but inside. Cold and empty. Her will to love had lost somewhere days ago, or was it months or maybe years?

Kagome couldn't remember clearly. All what she remembered was pain, fear, sorrow and... more pain.

"Why Inuyasha? I loved you... I really did... Why you had to go hell with Kikyo? Do you love her like I loved you once? Or did you go because you felt like you owned it to her?" She sobbed quietly.

*Here I stand in the shadows (shadows)*

He looked at the human girl from the shadows of the room. He smelt the salt tears what she cried and heard every whispers she whispered to the night.

Again, as he looked the miko, he wondered, why? Why had he, Sesshomaru, Lord of The Western lands, the most feared taiyoukai, tokk the young untrainned, human miko to live with him? Was it because of the little human girl whom he had claimed as his own pup?

No.

He knew the reason very well, but disbeliefed to believe what his heart tried to tell him. What his love full dreams told him, what he wanted to do with her. (A/N: Not anything like THAT you pervs!!! ^__^ )

*Can't you see that...*

He looked at the miko with a love in his eyes, feeling his heart beating fastering only by thinking about her, his Kagome.

'I wish I could hold you near. A wipe away the tears you've been cried, but I can't.... You won't let me...' He thought sadly.

*Time is precious and it's slipping away And I've been wanting for you all of my life*

'Ever since I was just a pup, I dreamt to have someone like you by my side.... I hoped, that someday, I'll find you and make you mine, no matter how long it will take,' Sesshomaru thought again.

*Nobody wants to be lonely, so why?*

'I don't want to be lonly and I know you don't want neather, so why?... Why don't you let me love you?'

*Why don' you let me love you? Why, why, why?*

"Why Kagome? Why? Did that hanyou hurt you so much that he made you unable to love again?" He asked quietly before walking away from the room..

*Can you hear my voice? Do you hear my song? It's a serenade so your heart can find me*

A soft music and voice filled on the air of the castle. It was a sad song that a stranger singer sang.

The song made the young miko, Kagome, open her bedroom's door and step outside for a first time in the ages.

Quietly as she could, she walked towards the stears, that lead her downstears, where the song and music came, but no there played only the soft music.

A soft melody that tolf a sad story about someone who had lost the will to love.

*And suddenly you're Flying down the stairs*

Half way walking down the stairs, she lost her balance and flew down the long stairs.

"AAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh!!!" She cried in suprise.

Sesshomaru had just walked out of the library, when he had heard Kagome cry. He had ran as fast as he's demon speed had allowed him to ran towards the voice.

He had came just nick in time to catch falling Kagome into his arms.

*Before I start going crazy (going crazy)*

"Are you okey?" He asked his face showing worry towards her.

Kagome closed her eyes as she waited the last hit on the stairs, but suprised as she felt someone catch her.

"Are you okey?" A familiar voice asked.

Slowly, Kagome opened her blue/-gray eyes, seeing pair golden ones looking at her.

*Run to me, run to me*

"Y-yes, t-thank you for catching me Sesshomaru," She thanked quietly.

He looked deep into her eyes leaning closer to her. His lips claimed hers to a gentle kiss. The girl gasped in suprise. He took advance for it, deepening the kiss.

Kagome gasped as she felt his lips against hers. She felt his tongue playing in her mouth.

'No!' She thought and pulled away from the youkai lord.

"Gomen Sesshomaru, but I can't," She whispered.

*Why don't you let me love you?*

He felt the girl in his arms pull away from him and his kiss.

"Gomen Sesshomaru, but I can't," She whispered quietly, turning her gaze away from his.

'Why can't you? Is it because of me? Or do you have someone else in your life?' He asked in his mind, his mouth not willing to let the words out.

"It's not because of you, it's because of me and my heart. It's... My heart, it's broken. It broke into million pieces by someone I cared a lot," Kagome told him, like she was reading his mind.

"You're talking about that idiot half-brother of mine, Inuyasha, aren't you?" He asked.

She nodded softly, "Yes,"

*I wanna feel you need me (feel me) Just like the air you're breathing I need you here in my life*

"Why are you still mouring for him, It's been almost a year and half since his dead?" He asked, 'Can't you see I need you?'

"Because I loved him, and because he was my friend, although I was only a wortless shard director for him, he still was my friend, no matter how badly he treated me," She told him, holding her sob.

"I don't understand still the mouring, Kagome. I never had met anyone who has moured this long," He told her, 'Why can't you move on and return there feelings of mine?'

"I mour because my love for him was deeper than any river or sea, higher than any mountain on the earth," She whispered and long holded sob escaped from her lips.

"Is there anything I can do to stop you mouring?" Sesshomaru asked.

"If you can ment a broken heart, then there is. All I need is time and a person who can ment a broken heart," Kagome told him, between her sobs.

He nodded and hug her tightly, " I do whatever it takes to ment your heart... will you let me?" He asked whispering.

"Yes," She whispered so quietly that if he would have been human, he would not hear the answer.

"Thank you," He whispered, putting her down from his arms.

For a first time after so long Kagome smiled, a real smile, "You're welcome,"

He put his arms around her waist, bringing her closer, aganst his body, giving her a long passionate kiss.

"Kagome.... Aishiteru.... can you ever feel the same for me?" He whispered against her lips.

"Possible, Sesshomaru... in time," She answered smiling.

He smiled back and gave her another longingful kiss, and this time... she kissed back...
