Alone and Loved by Konton

Yes

"So Inuyasha, you're going to kill me now?" she asked, "After all we've been through, and all the times that I saved your ass, you're going to kill me? Just so that big pile of dirt and ashes can have my soul?"

"That's right. You're going to die and Kikyo will live. Face it, you aren't important. No one cares about you. You won't be missed. All you are is a copy, and a bad one at that. The only reason I needed you to find the jewel shards, but since Kikyo came back, well, I guess I don't need you even for that." he said in a dangerous tone as he flexed his claws. He was anxious to spill her blood. He laughed quietly as he slowly approached his prey. She looked at him coolly, unperturbed by the bloodlust in his eyes.

"Osuwari," she said in a calm, flat tone. He hit the ground hard, and she took her chance to run. When he looked up again, she was gone. Her sent was being washed away by the rain.

"I WILL KILL YOU KAGOME! I SWEAR IT!!!" he screamed into the night.

~~~~~*~~~~~
She heard him yell, and it only served to cut the wounds deeper. She ran, and ran, and ran. Her legs felt like lead, and breathing was becoming difficult, but she didn't stop. She didn't dare stop. He would come for her. It was only a matter of time, and no one would save her. Sango and Miroku had left them to live peacefully on their own, and Shippo had stayed with an old fox tribe. She was all alone. Kagome tripped on an upturned root, and fell. She couldn't get up. The look on Inuyasha's face kept replaying in her mind.
"He's right, I won't be missed," she said quietly.
"I'm sure someone would miss you," came a cool voice.
"No they wouldn't. I'm worthless."
"Rin would miss you."
She looked up to meet his eye. "Yes, perhaps Rin would miss me, but she would soon forget. They always forget. What is the point of living anyway? Even if I'm remembered, I wouldn't be loved. My own family disowned me, Sesshomaru. My family!"
"I would miss you," Sesshomaru stated matter-of-factly.
She shook her head, "No you wouldn't. Your life will go one for centuries. It would be inevitable for you to forget."
"It's not easy to forget the ones you love," he said.
Before his words could register, he knelt down next to her, and scooped her up into a tight embrace. "I love you Kagome," he whispered in her ear, "and always will."
"Y- You l-love me?" she gasped. He tightened his embrace, and all doubts left her. "Hmmm... so warm..." she said into his shoulder, and snuggled closer. Then she realized something. The pain had gone away! She wasn't alone.
"Sesshomaru?" she said, pulling away just far enough to see his face.
"What?" he said gently.
"I- I think I love you too..." she said too quiet for even a demon to hear, but he heard.
"You do?" he asked with uncertainty clear in his voice.
She thought for a moment, and then nodded. "Yes. I just didn't know it until now."
"Can I kiss you?" he asked. (Awww, he's asking first!)
"Ye-" his lips were on hers before she could even answer.
