yo, this is SemiPrecious, aka, emily.

ummm... well, i'm 14 at the moment, and write on fanfic as well as SS under the same name.

I lurves to read and write and draw, and if you couldn't tell already I tend to take my thoughts and ramble, more so on paper than with my tongue as I am extremely shy. I'll only really, really ramble and not go off on a billion-and-one tangents if the topic of my ramblings really interests me.

Such topics may include religion, (I'm a proud athiest. However, if an open-minded religious person wants to have a debate with me about God and Creation and all that, I'm in heaven.) reading and different author/esses, (I like fiction, but not so much fantasy. I still wonder why I love Inuyasha so much. --;; The only exceptions would have to be Lord of the Rings - I mean, the movie was better than the book, that never happens - and any book by Terry Pratchett, who is my favouritest author at the moment. My story Wintersmith on ff is actually based off of his book by the same title).

Now, I don't know if anyone is still actually reading this at this point, (I know that I sure as hell wouldn't be) so I guess I'll cut my ramblings short.

My last random thought though is about my writing. I write when I'm either inspired or feeling particularly passionate about something I've read or seen or become aware of and want to make a fanfic about it. Inspiration comes from anywhere, and it usually takes a moment of deep reflection once my hands have cooled down and my keyboard has stopped either panting like a lapdog or giving slow death rattles (it all depends on my mood. ;P) to discover what exactly watching my sister feed some ducks at the park has to do with the story about dragons that it inspired. -shrugs- whatever floats ya boat, dude.

On a different note, I'm Aussie and down here there are water restrictions because of the stupid drought. (it's actually kind of scary. Dams are only about 30 percent at the moment.) But this means that I only get two minute showers. I stand there under the nozzle for a grand total of two minutes, with a bucket at my feet that I toss on the garden when I'm done (watering from a hose is now prohibited).

So, there's my sob story. Everyone pray for my health. Or, don't, if your athiest like me or don't like praying for athiests. It'll be enough that you spared a thought.
