Hello, I'm Autumn (or Sahara, if you prefer; I don't really care) and, to be perfectly honest, I'm not a big fan of writing biographies. I love reading them (a little odd, I suppose), but I never know exactly where to start my own.

I suppose I’ll start by saying that I’m a writer, a beta reader/editor, and a nitpicker (I prefer the term ‘pedant’, though, because it just sounds…nicer). I spend most of my time reading now, because I’m too stressed to write. I also roleplay. Honestly, those are my hobbies – my only hobbies. Well, okay, if I mention rug-hooking (which I haven’t done in a while) and watching anime then the grand total is five, which looks a little less pathetic, ne? I’ve started reading manga, too, although I’ve only read a few volumes of a few series – none of which were ‘Inuyasha’, by the way.

Wait! I have a sixth hobby (w007); I love trivia and I’m currently part of high school Reach for the Top (the Canadian equivalent of, well, Jeopardy).

Speaking of Inuyasha, I’m very fond of the anime. It is, so far, the only anime (aside from Digimon) that I watched for its duration. Well, it’s not quite finished on YTV, but I’ve watched more of it than I did Sailormoon or Pokemon or Yuugiou or Dragonball Z or, you know, any of the other anime that have made their way onto Canadian television – that I have bothered (or been able) to watch. I think I became involved in fanfiction because of Inuyasha actually, but I could be wrong – I forget things very easily and it’s been a couple years since I started reading. Obviously, I’m very fond of Kagome x Sesshoumaru, but I’m equally fond of Inuyasha x Kagome, so…yeah…there won't be any character-bashing in my fanfiction. (I just hate it, so please...don't even get me started.)

Just in case you missed the comment about Canadian television: I am Canadian (by birth; I’m actually of Jamaican ancestry). I’m also female (if you had any doubts), honest, sometimes to a fault, and inclined to (occasionally florid) rambling. The latter sometimes appears in my writing, unfortunately, so if you’ve come across any run-on sentences, just…erm…ignore them. I will catch them eventually (sad as it is, I will read this over a thousand-and-one times for errors, though probably not before it’s posted…I have this…erm…complex, I guess).

Hrm…there’s really nothing else to say; I’m not a very interesting person and, if not for my obsession with biographical information and my mad rambling skillz (with a /zed/, man), I probably couldn’t have found so much. Oh! I’m obsessed with languages, too, though I have no mad linguistic skillz. I speak some French, but not with perfect fluency, and I want to learn Japanese, Vietnamese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Latin, German, and Russian (possibly). I mention that because Japanese will probably make an appearance in my fanfiction and sometimes, without thinking about it, I use a nonexistent French phrase (I have a tendency to anglicize French stuff, because it’s fun…yarr…).

Now, my biography has come to a close. I don’t know if anyone will read it, but you know, I couldn’t resist, because of that obsession I mentioned earlier. Heh. So, my pending fanfiction is listed below. I’d appreciate any feedback on my plots, ideas, etc. and whatever written work I post once I get around to that.

Sesshoumaru, son of an illustrious member of the yakuza, has become the leader of his own subdivision. Although only seventeen years old, the renewed threat of Onigumo Naraku has forced him into a position his father does not truly want him to take. There is no choice, though, because the harsh reality of Naraku’s approaching dominance is creeping into schools, tainting everything that it touches with tragedy and malice. Higurashi Kagome, once oblivious to the complicated underworld, became involved when Naraku took a perverse interest in her. Now, as leader of Maru no Mikadzuki, Sesshoumaru has a duty to ensure that she is protected. Somehow, amidst gunshots, blood, tears, and giri, they find in each other what seems to have disappeared everywhere else.
