I hope that I am not being to pretentious in saying that I now understand the title. This was a brilliant piece of work. I have not ever read a piece like this. Meaning that I never considered what side effects the returning of Kikyo's piece of her soul might bring. Original and thought provoking.

I liked how you handled the group dynamic. They knew something was wrong but they overlooked it because they couldn't grasp it. It's a harsh facet of love. That's why they went after her and made her come back, and avoided the obvious.

As far as the perverse thoughts go, I can only imagine how hard and fast he took her, and the things he said to her that only the snow could hear. ; >

Most definitely a different and refreshing interpretation of the recovery of Kagome's soul. I definitely like the way you portrayed Kagome insane, but with class; and that ending with the implied EXCLUSIVE upgrade of their relationship status after the short, but awesome shag..?! Pure genius. Do what you do best and make me seem more insane then I really am.

This was a very interesting piece, and I wasn't expecting to get pulled into it. Yes, it did seem like a rambling drabble at times, but I think it added to the piece. A glimpse of Kagome's psyche gives a deep insight into insanity that is rare nowadays. Sesshoumaru's interaction with her is unnatural, yet natural at the same time. I think the last two lines really make the whole piece come together. Great job!
