Sesshoumaru changing a diaper! I love you! But really, it was incredibly sweet and touching. Lovely chapter--family moments, family tension, humor, thickening plot...and I can't wait to see what you do with Patrick. My B.A. was in early Celtic/British history and folklore. I assume his name Maeve has some significance? :)

I just got finished with chapter 6, I love that chapter! Oh I was so excited. I haven't read TSNNAM, will it affect much of the reading in this story?

I'm confused. Who is Rin's mate? Does Norio = Shippo? Is Norio the mate and Shippo in love with Rin but didn't get the girl? Or maybe Norio is the doctor? I am just not clearly getting it.

Lovely. I like how it ties nicely into the recent happenings in TSNNAM. It isn't karma that Rin was saved. More of a cycle of life. The choices that we make now can comprise the outcome of future events. In this case, because Kagome had taught him to bend in the past, Rin was saved in the future. The ending quote was quite candidly true to this case.

The same could be said for poor decisions, and the regret of 'what-if's' that can haunt someone when a misdeed is done or an opportunity for greatness was squandered.

I am a bit curious about Sango's conversation and thoughts on Sesshoumaru's coming actions.

I'm glad I forced myself to wait with this story until I had caught up with TSNNAM. I feel so invested in the characters; it's good to know they are leading satisfying lives. The interactions are all suberbly done, and the kids are great. Patrick...what's he hiding I wonder? Can't wait to find out!

So I just went back to re-read the chapter. I see what you're talking about. (zips mouth shut).

I do have one more thing to say - ok, maybe it's a few more things to say. Sango and Sesshomaru's conversation was funny. Seems they become friends haha. And - and this is the big one - when is Sango's party and when are we going to meet her "man" and her son. I understand the story isn't really about her, but the way you were setting things up about her party it seemed like it would be something big.

Pervert? Hm... Miroku? or Masaru? This is a tough one. We all know Miroku, our beloved monk is a pervert. And judging from that last chapter in TSNNAM we know that Masaru have sex appeal and like to make a woman squirm until her legs are about to go out... so which one could it be? *winks* I can't wait to find out. Hopefully that would be soon - or something like it.

When I read this the other day, I was in all out panic mode for Rin. I was so worried for Rin. Aw, a baby girl. Damn four tries?! Kag and Sess are grandparents. Wow nobody like Patrick - hahaha.

Well Kagome Was Ummm A Tad Bit Scary For Padraig ... Sesshomaru Is Using Him As A Dog Toy LOL ... Loved The Update!!!!

This chapter has a lot of mystery in it. I know Patrick is a thousand year old Druid warlock, but what is this other entity? Not understanding completely about the tree. And why is it such a danger to reveal himself? Is it because of the entity? But he told Satori that he was connected to the entity. More questions than answers in this chapter, unless it's just me.

I love your portrayal of Kagome she's seemly harmless unless your a lying Warlock oh well poor Patrick things are just not boding well for the man but its his own fault for assuming himself smarter than the lord and lady of the west well good chapter and a mean cliffy

Ah, so the boyfriend is a magical being after all, although it is still unclear what his intentions are. I loved Kagome in her "I have the Power of Grayskull" mode. I know I am showing my age with a He Man quote. However, you just do not lie to a Mother, especially when the main point of the discussion is about her daughter. Great scene. A jealous Sesshoumaru in true form at the end of the chapter was a vivid image to behold.

I like this story. The only thing that I was confused on is the setting until the tv show was mentioned.

I love Kagome and Sesshomaru's dynamics. The fire and desire nature that they display is sexy and I love just LOVE how the brothers bond over the game. I look forward to your updates!

Thank you so very much for bringing this to my attention. When I read the last update on TSNNAM, I meant to check it out. But my stomach began to fuss at me to feed it breakfast and I forgot afterwards. I like sequels and continuations of any kind on stories with deep emotional depth to them. It's like you get involved in the lives of the characters in the story and don't want to let go of them. You've got me dying to know who Sango's mate is. It has to be youkai for her to have lived so long. It just has to be Masaru. Yes? Yes? I don't understand it. I've just become a Masaru addict, I guess. Woe is me! hahaha

Kagome sending looks "to kill" (as they are called in my family) to Sesshoumaru over the dining table with the family sitting there trying to behave as if everything is normal was so funny. I love it! Oh the memories. I digress. Sesshoumaru being called up short by his own pup also brought quite a chuckle out of me. The solution to the fight, sex, was totally not fair and, as the males know, works every time. Sesshoumaru's ability to scent her response gives him an advantage which he has no scruples using to gain the upper hand. I gather the end result will be Kagome will not remember what she was fighting about and Kagome will be "knocked up." Or rather Sesshoumaru sensed that Kagome was ready to procreate due to her scent and by recent observations of her behavior and he, being a good mate, obliged her and filled her needs.

As always your stories are delightful. May the muses continue to assist you in the creativity of such wonderful pieces regarding our favorite couple.

Meaning she's married and if I'm going in the direction my mind is taking which is at the moment where u are on TSNNAM Miroku is really having some issues... that's bad. Sango is kinda sorta attracted to Masaru (still love hat name by the way - Victory)... a demon.... who I think she have some sort of connection to, some kinda way. Anyway she's attracted to him and Miroku, but could it be possible she lived this long because she and Masaru got together? Hell even Souta mated a demon. Hmmm.... something to think on.

Patrick huh. I foresee that after this is story and TSNNAM end... we will be having another following in it's steps? Hmm.... more to think on.

I had to laugh at the last few lines of the chapter. It's part overprotective father, part teritorial Taiyoukai, part following the path that has been set before them and, ultimately, funny. Not because he isn't serious, but because he is and I'm not sure whether to feel bad for Patrick or Sesshomaru when he tries what it is he's planning to do and his daughter and wife catches wind of it. I'm really loving this story and really can't wait to see where it goes.

I agree with Jean when reading this story I couldn't shake the feeling of a leap to the future by tsnnam, but away so far so good, I like the calm mature nature you bestowed on Inuyasha it's a nice change and who is this male that has Sesshoumaru all super dad on. I can't wait to find out ta-ta

*Grins* I have to say that is one of the loveliest, truest scenes between Inuyasha and Sesshomaru I've ever read. Yes, they've both matured and come to terms with each other, but they still have their innate qualities. Very well done.

Hmm. Satori with siblings, Inuyasha calmer due to a feeling of belonging, Kagome and Sesshoumaru have been mated for a long time, and Kagome treats Jakken better than Sesshoumaru does. This sounds suspiciously like TSNNAM 600 years later. Now that is established, it is nice to see the half-brothers getting along. Their banter is cute in a very "male" way. Of course, it probably took most of those years for them to get along. Sometime details will have to be provided to your faithful following or I won't be responsible for what happens. Who is Inuyasha's mate? How are the humans still alive? Are there still hot monkey shenanigans between Sesshoumaru and Kagome going on, which you are so talented in describing? And lastly, are you dedicating this story to dogs in general or your dog, Barklay?
