Oh, really Ivy. You totally made the 2nd part of this perfect. I love the way that al of your writing has that flair of the mysterious, it just makes everything so...extraordinary. I've said it before, but if you ever have a novel or anything else published, I'll rush out to buy it!!

Your style of writing is breathtaking; it overwhelms the reader with the emotions conveyed with simple yet powerful words. I know this because that was exactly what happened to me...I just sat dumbfounded in front of the screen, while my eyes could not stop reading. It was a job well done, and I certainly look forward to reading more from you.

Ho-ly crap.

These lines struck me dumb:

"Can’t wield a sword. Can’t draw a bow.
An arm returned and with it a weapon. A soul completed and with it one pure wish.
A lover who never really loved. A child that
was not of the flesh."

The parallels you draw between the two, personifying the pendulum of their lives with the sun and moon, is sheer genius. I am in thrall. I felt like I was studying a painting or having a vision, or perhaps watching you use each character to tip a scale that, no matter how balanced, was crushed under its own weight. Are you really sure no swords were wielded in this story, and no arrows were fired? Because I've got something piercing me in the chest, but then it could just be your words.

This is amazing stuff.

I love the way you write. It's always so tragic, and yet beautiful. Your writing is perhaps the only that has ever truly made me contemplate life. The only writing that makes me think about it deeply, really think. And for that, I thank you.
